(( Lol, It's 10 AM here also and I haven't slept yet. ))

Grave shivered slightly. He wasn't used to not wearing his jacket so he felt cold without it. He frowned and looked up at Reliun. The dog seemed to be going to sleep. He sighed, feeling tired too. He silently debated on what to do. He shivered again and that seemed to decide it. He snuggled up closely to Reliun's side, still shivering. He mentally cursed himself for being so weak to only a little bit of cold.

"How can I not be with a cat this close?" Reliun asked, listening to the rain again. It just seemed to overtake his senses and calm him down, no matter what was going on. He angled his ears towards the entrance and exhaled softly, tail twitching.

((Should the mage awaken now? ouo)) 

Grave frowned, his ears flattening slightly. He had taken the way Reliun had said 'a cat' the wrong way. "Does it bother you?" he asked quietly, his face still buried in the dog's chest. "Because I can move... if you don't like it." He hoped Reliun didn't want him to move. He liked being close to the inumimi.

(( Sure. o3o )) 

Reliun rolled his eyes, chuckling. "I didn't mean it that way. Cats are warm is what I'm getting at," he said, moving his free hand to pat the neko's head before the dog grew curious and started scratching behind one of his ears. He was wondering if nekos could purr like a real cat. And now that Grave was there and he remembered that, he could finally find out!

Esairen made a soft noise as he sat up, then opened his pale eyes with a soft sigh. He looked up at the top of the dome and frowned, tilting his head. It was still raining?

Then he looked around to see if Ritsuka was still there, his curiosity about the boy rather piqued. Hmmm... 

"Oh... I--" Grave didn't get a chance to finish his sentence. He was cut off by his own startled mewl as Reliun started scratching behind his ear. A purr rose from his throat and he squeezed his eyes shut. He'd always had a weakness for people who played with or scratch his ears or stroked his tail. He pushed against the dogs body, trying to push his head against the other's hand even more. "Ah... Reliun...!" he purred, pawing at the inumimi's chest much like a real cat.

Ritsuka's ears perked up at the sound of Esairen waking up. He was still sitting next to the mage, waiting patiently for him to wake up in an almost pet-like fashion. His tail twitched slightly as he looked at him. "Oh, you're awake?" he asked. The mage hadn't slept as long as he had expected him to. "Feel any better?"

((....PFFFFFT.

Reliun felt his face grow a bit warmer as Grave pushed against him, tensing for a moment before he relaxed. So they did purr...and they even aced like real cats! He smiled, tail wagging lightly, happily, as he went from scratching to stroking the fuzzy cat ear. It was soft, and he actually liked soft things. Soft and fuzzy. And green, but that didn't matter much.

Esairen blinked and looked at Ritsuka, then smiled warmly, just like he usually did. "Yes, and I feel much better," he said, moving his staff to lay it across his lap. Then he looked back up at the sky and tilted his head, curious. "How long was I asleep, and did the storm stop at any time...?" he asked, glancing back down at the neko.

(( Huh... wha-- *re-reads post* *facepalm* I totally didn't realize how perverted that was. I was just trying to make him act cat-like and that's similar to what my cat does. >///> ))

Grave's purrs deepened when Reliun began stroking his ear. The action calmed him and he stopped pressing against the dog, snuggling against him again instead. His tail twitched contently behind him and he looked up at Reliun with sleepy-looking eyes. "You seem to be enjoying just as much as me," he mumbled softly. The ear that was not being stroked twitched in an annoyed manner.

Ritsuka felt himself smiling in return to Esairen's smile. The male seemed to make him feel more content for some reason. "That's good," Ritsuka said, he looked around as if trying to find something that could help him figure out the them. When he couldn't find anything his tail twitched in annoyance before he turned back to look at the mage. "An hour... half-hour...? I'm not really sure. The storm never let up at all, though." he answered, frowning slightly.

Reliun noticed the ear flick, but he just shook it off and smiled. "Why wouldn't I be?" he asked, his own ears twitching lightly. He moved his other hand to stroke the ear that twitched, smiling wider as he chuckled, nuzzling the cute little kitty cat in a rather doggy fashion.

Esairen felt himself frowning, the made tilting his head. "This storm has been going on an awfully long time..." he murmured, then sighed and shook his head, looking back down. "Or maybe I'm just paranoid..." he muttered to himself before looking at Ritsuka. "If you don't mind my asking, where are you from, Ritsuka?"

Grave let out a small mewl again at the feeling of both his ears being stroked. He never knew that a dog's touch could feel so good. Up until now, he would have never gotten withing several meters of a dog, let alone allow one to touch him, but the feeling was just too good to push away. "It just seems weird that you'd enjoy touching a cat. Do I really feel that soft?" he purred curiously.

Ritsuka shrugged slightly. "I've seen storms last for days without stopping. This is not that long for me." He frowned slightly at Esairen's question. He actually did mind. The memories of his birthplace were not good ones. Still, he didn't see any harm in telling the mage something at least. He paused for a moment to think over his answer before speaking. "I've traveled all over since I was young, but I was born in a small northern village. It was separated from most other civilizations and didn't accept me because of my ears and tail." He frowned and looked down, showing he really didn't want to talk about it.

Reliun smiled, nodding. "Yes. Yes you do," he told him, tail wagging. He grinned, then shifted to snuggle with the smaller male, yawning softly. His attention had drifted to the rain again, and Grave's purring didn't help matters much.

Esairen reached out to put a hand on Ritsuka's shoulder. "You don't have to talk about it," he said gently, then reach up to rub the neko's head between his ears, smiling gently. "Though I think the ears and tail make you different, which is much better than blending in. Trust me on that one," he said, giving a soft chuckle. 

(( What is it?! I really don't get it this time 0_o; ))

Grave purred more and snuggled deeper into Reliun's embrace. He yawned in response to the dog's yawn and chuckled slightly. "Yawns really are contagious." he said softly. He sighed slightly, listening to the rain outside as he continued to purr.

Ritsuka sighed softly from the touch. "Thanks," he mumbled, his ears and tail dropping in a relaxed manner. He tilted his head to the side slightly, trying to get Esairen to stroke his ears instead of his head. He gave the mage a somewhat pathetic look.

Reliun smiled and nuzzled the cat again, chuckling. They really were contagious. But he remained silent, slowly drifting off to the soothing sounds of the rain and Grave purring, his breathing evening out.

Esairen moved his hand to do what Ritsuka wanted him to do, chuckling softly. He was like a little kitty cat. Well...kitten. The neko was actually kinda cute, in a child-like, innocent kind of way. 

(( Grr, *facepalm* now I get it XD sooo not explaining it though. -.-; ))

Grave sighed, his ears perking forward as he heard Reliun begin to fall asleep. He fought the own tiredness that tugged at him, afraid that if he fell asleep he'd wake up alone and it would all have been some strange dream. "Reliun..." he muttered as he closed his eyes, his own breathing starting to even out as well.

Ritsuaka purred softly as he felt Esairen's fingers on his ear. It had been years since anyone had showed him any sort of affection, especially petting him. He ducked away from the mage's hand after a few moments, knowing it'd be awkward for Esairen if he got to much into it. "Thanks," he said softly, smiling slightly at the older male. His ears were perked up playfully as he looked at Esairen and his tail twitched contently.

Esairen smiled, though it faltered slightly when the neko pulled away. For a second he though he had done something wrong, until Ritsuka had thanked him. He nodded, letting his hand fall onto his lap. He gave a warm smile in return to the little neko, then took his staff and started to draw symbols in the dirt.

((He's gonna summon a little critter. <3)) 

Ritsuka blinked and shifted so he could better see the symbols Esairen was drawing. Once again, they looked familiar, but he could not place where he could have seen them before. He blinked again and shifted his gaze up to the mage's face. "What are you drawing? Some sort of spell?" he asked. His voice was a mixture of curiosity and suspicion. He quickly shook his head when he realized he was being suspicious. He trusted the older male so he shouldn't be suspicious.

(( Awww~ :3 )) 

Moments later, there was a bright flash of light. After the light faded, the cutest little purple and pink...thing was fluttering its feathery wings, staring at Esairen curiously before landing and shaking itself off. It looked up at Ritsuka and made a soft little chirruping sound, tilting its head as it moved toward the neko on its two little legs, looking almost like the cutest little mutant kangaroo ever.
