"I came to see you," Riker said truthfully. He did come to see her, after all. "And even if you're blind, you're still very nice. Not to mention pretty." Smiling, he looked outside. "I take it you don't like watching the Alpha fight," the Beta said, trying to start a conversation. (lol since Mikael is sleeping he doesn't even notice anything. That's actually... ok in this case. xD )

Kovalia glanced away, or she would have if she could glance at anything. She then smiled, shaking her head. "Hey riker, can I ask you something? And you promise me you won't laugh?" she asked, looking over at the wolf that smelled so good to her. At the compliments, though, she chuckled softly. "If it helps, I think you smell really good, Riker. Like...snow and blueberries," she told him. She settled herself a little better, her ears perking up as her unseeing white eyes rested on Riker's general location.

Riker only smiled wider. "I think that makes for a good combination," he truthfully replied. "I wish I could smell myself smelling like snow and blueberries.." To be funny, he stuck his nose to himself and sniffed, taking in a deep and audible breath through his nose. "...Nope. I smell like wolf to me," he jokingly said then chuckled. "You're sort of lucky to be able to smell blueberries and snow. What do you think you smell like?"

Kovalia let out a soft laugh. "I smell mostly like blueberries too...but this mark on one of my legs smells...well...purple. I don't have anything to compare purple to like I do everything else..." Then she looked at Riker almost like she could see him. "Riker...what do I look like? I've been wondering about that for a while..."

"You are varying tones of blue everywhere. Except there is a sort of small, swirly pattern on your front left leg that is purple, sort of like an orchid color. The same pattern, but smaller, is to the left side of your left eye. Overall, it makes for a pretty combination, Kovalia," Riker said. It felt sort of weird saying what another wolf looked like, but 99.9% felt right and true.

Kovalia blinked, ears perking up. She had a marking on her face? Had it always been there...? But still she smiled, tilting her head slightly. "Thank sfor not laughing at my question, and for telling me what I look like. Being blind, it's...something I've always wondered. And to answer your earlier question, no...I...I don't like watching the alpha fights... The smell of blood....of red in general...it's...it's awful, especially knowing that it's from wolves you've been around all the time..." She set her head down, her eyes closed. "Not being able to see if they really want to kill eachother just for a positin, or just a single wolf...it's..." She shook her head, ears pulling back. "I...don't understand...why they have to fight. Why can't they just let the alpha choose who she likes the best? I don't the fighting..." |

Akime sighed a little as Riker walked away, but was happy, knowing he was coming with her tonight, and that they would finally get some time alone, away from Amalia, who seemed to want to screw up Akime's entire life. Amalia had told Riker she wanted the rank, and not Riker. Akime started to tear up as she wondered if that was now what Riker thought of Akime. Turning, she watched the fight. --- Farook waited impatiently for one of the wolves to die so he could enter the arena. He watched, and he was betting Makia was going to win, though Soren was intimidating. From what Farook believed, Soren was strong, but he was stupid. Makia didn't seem strong, just smart and had the ability to become invisible, which was very useful. --- Veseya shook her head as she watched the fight, then turned to Toxic. "What've you been up to?" She asked. |
