Alex turned to the next customer with a welcoming, and warm smile on his face. "Hi!" he replied, shaking his head slightly to get his hair out of his face. "How are you today?" He asked the other, something he was supposed to say to any and all customers. "What can I get started for you today?" He asked, already starting to pour someone else's coffee that was ordered at the window behind him.

Kaiden smiled at him and said "I'm fine. Which do you like best?" he asked curiously. Whenever Kaiden went somewhere he would ask the workers what they would suggest and he would try it out. Trying new things was very fun in his opinion. "Gives me a chance to experince lots of different things" he had once said to a worker with a confused ex
pression. With a smile he blinked, his blue eyes very friendly.

"Kay~" Alex said, jumping to start and make the the his customer had ordered. "Yes, I do actually." Alex answered as he put all of the things need together. "I get to meet all sorts of people and people are my inspiration." He said, a little occupied in what he was doing to look up from his working.

"And questions are fine," he added, "And you can anyone here questions. We wont bite." He said, finally looking up with a friendly smile. He set the quickly finished coffee down, "At least... Most of us don't." He added quietly with a smirk. He winked quickly before he turned to tend to another car at the window, giving a moment to Kaiden to think about what had just happened.

He started making the coffee ordered. It didn't take long for the order was simple and he added and muffin of some kind to that and handed them off through the window. Taking the money and putting it up.  

Alex took the money off of the counter and put it into the cash register, closing in up securely before he turned so that his back would be against the counter. He leaned on it and sighed, bored out of his mind. Sure, he did like his job and he did get to meet new people but no one wanted to really talk today. 

He decided to make himself a coffee this time, Taking money out of his own wallet to pay for the beverage. But he had a discount so he didn't have to pat as much. He made a hot Caramel Macchiato this time. Now that his drink was done he called to his boss, "Hey, Josh! I'm taking a break!" He said before rounding the back of the counter and walked toward the front of the store.

"Don't scare off my customers! Alex!" His boss called back, making Alex chuckle. "Why would I do that?" He called back and drabbed his coat and pushed through the double swinging doors and out into the cold, brisk late mid winter morning. His breath caused small puffs to rise as he breathed softly and took his hot cub to lean against the wall to look down at random people below.

The wall was perched on the side of a small cliff just behind the coffee shop. Alex lit a cigarette for a the heck of it. He might as well smoke while he was out here, then he wouldn't go into a tizzy when he needed on later. 

Kaiden sat there, thinking. With a sigh he looked at his cup, which was now empty. "I gotta let this go" he told himself quietly before he threw away the cup and returned to his table. "Did I make a mess?" he thought to himself as he carefully inspected the table. It was clean, or, what he could describe as clean. Walking over to where the napkins were, he quickly cleaned the table. "That's better" he whispered with a grin.

He walked out of the store and into the fresh winter air. Taking a deep breath, he smiled when he could see the small puff rise into the air. Kaiden didn't know what to do now, he didn't want to go back home where that drawing was waiting to haunt him. Sighing, he walked down the street, his mind clouded with thoughts that refused to be forgotten. He blinked, having stopped at a curve with a bench. Kaiden approached the bench slowly and sat down, feeling the cold from the metal of the seat. Looking up at the sky he looked at the clouds, the very shape of them making him feel awestruck. "I wonder how they must feel, if I were to touch them" he thought to himself. Shaking his head slightly, he laughed at himself "I'm so weird" he whispered.

Once Alex was satisfied and his mind was clear once again, he sighed. He flicked the lit cigarette to the ground and stepped on it was the heel of his shoe to put it out so that it didn't cause any sort of problems later on. Like a fire or something. He drank the last of his coffee and threw it away on the way back into the coffee shop.

Kaiden smiled "It's a pleasure, Alex" he replied. He placed the money on the counter as he waited for the coffee to be done. Kaiden noticed Alex sigh and he asked, "What's wrong?" He suddenly noticed what he had just asked and sighed, solding himself in his head. "I really need to think before I say things" he thought to himself as he looked at Alex, waiting for his answer. Kaiden grabbed the coffee cup and smiled, thinking about how Carl's reaction would be when he tried it. He shook his hair out of his face and his thoughts suddenly went blank. His foucs concentrated on Alex's response.
