Luke drove away back toward his dinner with his mother, becoming slowly more and more curious about what Sarah wanted to talk about. |

As soon as she entered the house, and the door was closed behind her, Sarah started to have a meltdown. She grabbed a lamp, and whipped it at the wall, where it shattered in to a thousand different pieces. "I'm not poor and I'm not dumb!" she screamed, agitated with Luke's mother. She grabbed hold of a picture frame, and hurled it into the other room. It landed with a clank and the tinkling sound of breaking gla ss. "how could I be so stupid?" she screamed again, a tear streaming down her face. "I don't even know if Luke's the father!" Shoving everything off the table and onto the floor, she trudged into the kitchen and sank to her knees beside the broken picture frame. She picked it up, looking at the five-year-old versions of she and her sister, beaming from the picture with her father standing behind them. "You'd know what to do, Charlotte," she mumbled, "You'd know." She leaned her head against the counter, still kneeling on the ground, and drifted into a light sleep. She was so tired...

Luke knocked three times before opening the door, "Sarah?" he called softly, walking in and closing the door behind him. He walked into the living room and looked around at the mayhem around him, "what heppened in here?" he wondered. He saw Sarah sleepign on the floor and shook her awake, "hey babe, its time to go home," he whispered.

Sarah blinked, picture slipping out of her hands. "Huh?" she mumbled, looking around at Luke in confusion. "Oh, it's you. Yeah..." She got to her feet drowsily, rubbing her already red eyes. "How was the meal with your mom?" She didn't really care, but she didn't want him to ask what happened in the living room.

Plan failed. Sarah tried not to look uncomfortable. "Er," she said nervously. "I'll explain when we get back to your place..." she added on with a weak laugh. "And try not to step on any gla ss?" She started to walk towards the door. "So, did she say anything else about me? Just curious..."

Luke shrugged, "just that your a tramp and I'm wasting my time." he said, "just like I figured, Oh, and that her friend Lucille has a daughter about my age who is just bueautiful and is my perfect match." he mocked his mom, mimicking her voice and hand motions as best as he could.

Sarah snorted. "Right. I'm a tramp." She rolled her eyes. "Lucille's daughter seems to fill the 'Desperate' category. Having your mother hook you up?" She snickered. "Anyways," She opened the pas senger door and slid into the car. "Can we go to your house fast? I want to get this over with."

Luke looked at her, "do I kow how to drive any other way?" he asked. He pushed the gas pedal and the car smoothly and quickly picked up speed. He p*censored*ed other cars on the road, but it was mostly empty. He made it to the apartment in about ten minutes and parked his car in his garage/storage unit. he hopped out and walked around the car to open the door for Sarah, "after you my lasy." he said with a dramatic bow.

{ My lasy ? -snort- Funneh typo XD } Sarah rolled her eyes, getting out of the car. She reached in her back pocket, and pulled out a quarter. She tossed it at him. "For you, my slave." she teased, walking towards the elevator.

Luke said wtih a laugh, pocketing the quarter and pushing Sarah lightly out of the way to beat her to the elevator. he got in and pushed the button but kept his foot in front of the door so she could get in. |

Sarah rolled her eyes. "You never fail to surprise me," she said with a smirk as she watched the elevator floor number go up. It kept climbing and climbing until, with a ding, it stopped at their floor and the doors slid open.

((XD thats the point XD)) "oh yeah." Luke said, suddenly remembering. He walked over to the door and opened it walking inside and tossing his keys into a little gla.ss bowl that was beside the door. He kicked his shoes off and wlaked over to the couldsitting down and patting his lap wtih a grin, waiting for her to come over and sit down. |
