((Lol, I think I've been playing Blaise more than Draco at the moment, so I'm gonna do a Draco post. xD))
Draco watched sullenly as he saw Blaise flirt with Harry. Flirt. With Harry bloody Potter. He was disgusted when he saw that Potter only thought that Blaise was teasing. It was so bloody obvious that Blaise was actually serious. The nerve of him, after what he had seen yesterday.
He felt a hand on his arm.
"You might want to avert your glare," Pansy smiled slightly, "otherwise you'll burn a hole in them." Ever since Draco had made it very, very clear that he wasn't interested in her at all, she had made do with being his friend. Draco was very grateful, because he really didn't miss the pouncing on him and the drooling.
"I'm not glaring at anyone," Draco retorted. "I'm just concentrating really hard."
"Sure thing, Drake."
"I'm serious!" He grinned though. He missed banter between friends, and he knew his morbid mood in the last two days was to blame.
"And here I was thinking you knew how to lie. I know you're in love with him, Draco."
Draco choked. "What?" he spluttered. "Me, in love with Potter?" He wasn't in love with him. He just...he had liked the kiss. That was all.
"No," Pansy said, giving him a strange look. "Blaise." It explained his repulsion at her touch, at least.
Draco relaxed visibly, and then tensed again. "Blaise?" He looked disgusted. "You've got to be kidding me."
"If the boot fits," she shrugged.
Draco stared hard at her. "That's a Muggle phrase."
Pansy realised her mistake, and she went blood red, looking down. "I- uhm- they have nice romance novels," she mumbled.
The blonde quirked an eyebrow. "If you say so."
Pansy's head shot up. "You don't mind that I've been reading Muggle stuff?"
"If you like it," Draco asked, "then why not?" It was his turn to shrug.
"Then why do you hate Potter and Granger and stuff, if you aren't against Muggles?" Pansy looked very confused.
"'Cause they're bloody annoying, that's why," he growled, eyes darkening suddenly when he thought of the trio. He was snapped out of it when he saw her hopeful ex
pression.
"What?" he snapped.
Pansy hesitated, before leaning in and whispering in his ear. "I kind of have a crush on Granger."
