I nodded my head at her apology before she stepped down from the carriage. After she was settled on the ground, I came out and thanked the butler before hearing Princess Laina's sigh and comment.
I smiled and came up next to her. Pointing at the log cabin -I made sure there were two bedrooms, I must admit- I said,
"And right beyond the cabin is a big lake with a water fall and everything."
I gave her one of my rare open lipped smiles that made my green eyes sparkle before looking back at the carriage as the butler drove away with it. Here we are. Just me. And the princess. On our honeymoon.
The smile from before disappeared as I pressed my lips together, feeling the awkward tension. I hoped she felt it too, so we were on the same boat. I thought this would be a good time to explain my boundaries, so that she felt a bit better. Hopefully she didn't plan on doing anything tonight, either...
So, choosing to tell her inside, I spread out an arm to motion her to go first into the cabin.
"Let's get in the warmth for a bit, shall we, Princess?"
[[You can power play him coming inside. :u ]]
