"The deal?" Draco asked, quirking an eyebrow at Matt.

"Dad's a ministry worker." Kailyn answered. 

"That's a valid question." Kailyn said quickly before Draco could open his mouth. "Well, not a Ministry worker, exactly. A Ministry worker is someone who works for the Ministry of Magic. Dad doesn't really work there.. He has enough that our children's children won't have to work, but he donates a lot.. Keeps them in his pockets and scared sh!tless of him." 

She laughed. 

Matt tilted her head.

"Odd.  From what Nevile told me the Ministry had a lot to do with Death Eaters.  I'm not in any way accusing any of your family of anything, but Belatrix is one, is she not?  And isn't she related to you?  If Draco's father deosn't have to work a day in his life doesn't that say something queer?" 

She questioned.  She didn't want to piss off new friends, but if there was soemthign interesting to point out she'd be damned if she didn't jump on it.

"Sorry, forget I ever said anything,"  She said looking down. putting her hand on her head.

Draco growled, glaring at the girl.

"Okay, um... So, are the Longbottoms the only ones you're related to?" Kailyn asked, quickly changing the conversation. Yes, she knew Lucius was a Death Eater, but so what, she wasn't about to announce it. 

"That's fine." Kailyn nodded.

Kailyn looked up when the train stopped, surrounded by gasps of surprise. They were here.

"Draco, we're here!" She said excitedly, grabbing her trunk. Chance jumped down obediently, at her heel. 

Matt had grabbed her bag and pet carrier, not botherign to make sure Roger was in there, because she felt the extra weight in the bag.

She jumped off, seemign a little irritated because she had fallen alseep in the train almsot several times.

"Nevile!"  She called.  "NEVILE!"  He was nowhere to be found.

"He's probably with that Granger girl he was so friendly with earlier..."  She sighed.  "Can I stay with you guys for a bit until I find my cousin, please?"  She asked Kailyn, not bothering with Draco.  She actually liked Draco (Not like that! XD)  But didnt feel like dealing with a prick at the moment.

"Thanks"  She said smiling, and following.  "We're here, Roger,"  She said, holding up her pet carrier a little, but Roger didn't move, which was odd.  Then again he had just woken up durign nap-time, so that was pretty normal.  She'd have to play with him when she got situated.

"All righ' Firs' years ova 'ere!" A large man yelled, all the new students looking at him apprehensively.

"Hagrid!" Kailyn yelled hugging the man.

"Ello, 'Ailyn. Inter' tha' boats, now."
