Muster sighed and turned around quietly, "Yes, Shadow?" he asked. Sitting down and letting his tail curl around his paw.

    "Just seeing who it was.", the she-wolf yawned out before tucking her head back into her stomach fur.


I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

"Yeah, sure." Muster said. He walked out, all you could hear was the soft pads and the click of his claws. Walking out the cave, he spotted some elk arriving into the camp. He looked confused, before silently backing away into the cave. He nodded Shadow, "Shadow! Shadow?" When she finally woke up, he spoke quickly. "Come look here, there's some elk in the camp." He helped her up before trotting silently to the edge. Sure enough, they were there sniffing around.

    Shadow awoke once more from her quickly achieved deep sleep with a huge yawn and looked at Muster. "What is it?", she asked right before he explained and helped her up.
    "I don't believe this is a good thing. Elk never enter our camp.", the she-wolf said as she took in the sight set before her.

Muster looked at her before walking out, they flinched and some trotted off. The lead stayed, Muster went up to him. The elk snorted at him and Muster replied. His eyes grew with fear. He nodded before licking the elk and the elk trotted off. "Shadow, they're burning the forest today. We got to get going."

(I'm so sorry for my absence! I got caught up with all sorts of things and attacked by three dogs almost exactly a week ago. I'm still recovering from that so I'm busy with doctor visits and retraining torn muscles in each limb.)

    Shadow's eyes grew wide and she dashed off to find her mother, sister, and father.

"Father! We have to leave!", her frantic words warned.

What? Your such an idiot. Why would we do that?", the proud male laughed.

The two females behind him looked at Shadow, worry in their eyes.

"The forest is going to burn, father. We have to leave. Now." The dark she-wolf's lips curled into and snarl as her father began to laugh even more. Growling, she took off out of the cave and back to Muster. "We're leaving alone."

Muster looked at her, "Are you sure? Don't you want to ask anybody else besides your family? Friends?" he asked. Smoke was filling his nostrils, and he could hear a faint crunching sound. He looked at her, "The medicine wolf?" he asked.

    "Only my stubborn father can control their actions, what he says goes. They are all too afraid to disobey.", the female had a faint look of sorrow before her face hardened and she turned towards where there was clearing from the smoke. "We have to leave now if we plan to live."

    Hoping someone would listen and run she let out a loud howl of warning before gesturing for Muster to come on. Then she dashed away, careful to go slow enough as to not leave Muster behind.

Muster ran with her, following her every move before trotting through a river and picked up the pace again. 'Where will we go?" he asked.
