"Thank you.",Shadow said gratefully and then darted off as her hatchlings curled up near the new female. Once going into the moonlight her wings shot her right into the sky and she had no idea that her mate was following behind her a ways.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Once landing in a field,Shadow thought she felt someone watching her,waiting. She turned around and saw the distinct face of Blood as he lunged at her. Teeth sinking into her neck,the dragoness let out a fierce roar and began ton claw at her mate's stomach furiously.

Shadow stood over her mate and then bit into his neck,draining all the life from him. When he was dead she blew flames on his body and let him burn. "I knew you couldn't be trusted."

When Shadow returned she had two bucks hanging from her jaws and a blood covered neck. Zarisa,followed by Spirit ran up with widened eyes and began to climb up to their mother's neck as she went over and dropped one buck in front of the other female and kept the other for herself. As she laid down in her nest and dropped her buck at her feet she said,"Nothing you should be concerned about,just a minor scratch,it will heal."

"Alright. I may have killed him. Something happened after I laid my eggs. He left one night and then came back with the evil spark to his eyes. He tried to kill me when I went hunting earlier and I was only protecting myself,please don't let my hatchlings know.",Shadow explained and then looked over at Rain,now realizing he was awake.
