Shadow slowly got up, giving her bottom half time to get in position before she tried to start moving from the couch. Eventually she had gotten off the couch and was getting some paper from a desk across the room. She put the paper down on the desk and grabbed a pen. Quickly she wrote down a few numbers and slithered back over to the new acquaintance. "Here.", the paper was held in front of the canine girl for her to take.

"Thanks!" Kylie said. Smiling and closing the door with a click she walked into her dorm. She showered and changed and took out he phone. Want to meet at the coffee shop down the road at 10AM? Kylie texted. She powered up her laptop and went onto Twitter for anthro's. @KylieMoore: This girl has a new friend. -thumbs up- Fox Trot is on the move to a new life. Her phone buzzed and she picked it up.

Shadow watched her leave with a smile and then went up to the closed door and locked it. "Now then, where did I put my ssscale polisssher?", Shadow asked herself as she slid down the hall to the restroom to shower. Once she was out of the shower and finished polishing her scales clean the anthro heard her cell phone go off in the other room. She slipped on her red night dress and opened the door to the bathroom. Looking at her phone she smirked and began typing in her reply. 'Okay, I'm texting, speech issues don't apply.', she thought and then looked at the message she put in. Sure, seems like a great plan. See you then! :)

Shadow slithered to her room and slid under her sheets, resting her head on her pillow. She decided it best to leave the lights on, since that was what she normally did when she stayed awake most of the night. Soon enough she was off to sleep.

Kylie got up and hit her alarm clock. She sighed and got up, scratching away some fleas. (Gross!) She hopped into the shower and blow-dried her fur. Getting out, she changed into some jeans, a simple t-shirt and put on an over-sized jersey. She then put on some heels and grabbed her phone and bag and went to the café. Her heels clicked along the way on the pavement. She smiled to see the café empty. She waited on a bench outside waiting for Shadow. She then saw the body of snake, making it's way towards her.

Shadow woke well before the time they were to meet and took her time to make sure she had her scales shining at their best, after all she was going to a public place. After that she fixed her hair and brushed her sharp teeth, making sure to get her fangs well. Soon enough she had done everything she wanted and needed to do and was out the door in her normal attire.
The cafe was in her line of sight in minutes as she moved her way down the side walk. Spotting Kylie, Shadow made her way over to the bench and greeted her friend. "I made it."

"But they are cute!" Kylie muttered under her breath for Shadow to hear. A, cute, boy around their age came up to the counter and winked. "Can I help you?" he asked, smirking and looking at us up and down. I smiled, "Yes please! I would like a hot choc to go please." and after Shadow ordered, Kylie took out some money and payed for both of them. The boy handed them their order and smiled, "Remember to look on the side of your cup." he smirked and winked and drifted away. Kylie just laughed and led Shadow outside. "Where do you want to go first? Shopping, movie, something else? I am cool with whatever." Kylie said. Putting her sunglasses on and pulling out a rasta-looking purple beanie, she put it on. She saw something on her cup, and looked at it before bursting into laughter. She looked at Shadow's face and laughed even more. "You face was priceless!" Kylie said, in between her laughs. "Also, he gave me his number." Kylie said again before calming herself down. (Mwhahah! Top that, a long post!)

Shadow smirked at her new friend's reaction to the boy and told the boy, " I'm jussst gonna get the sssame thing ssshe did." A 'thank you' was nodded towards Kylie by the snake-girl before she took her drink, smiled a close mouthed smile at the boy and left with Kylie. "I haven't gotten new clothesss in awhile, and I need sssomething to put my ssstuff in when I leave the houssse. I think...", stopping short, her eyes stared at her cup and her mouth dropped open. "Well then...", Shadow showed Kylie what was written on her cup,"Look at thisss!"
