Vert sighed and glanced down. The material his feet were on felt weird, and looked furry, almost like an animal, but Fremmed didn't appear to mind, so he chose to ignore the fact that his floor was made out of an animal. He glanced up every once in a while to look at the boy, trying to spot differences between himself and the human.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Fremmed noticed how Vert kept looking at him, and suddenly he felt irritated. "Is there something wrong?" He snapped, completely forgetting that the Montecko had been on his was to being his friend, and the thoughts of feeling him leaving his mind instantly. Fremmed winced slightly, realizing what he had done. Even so, he didn't apologize. Human never said sorry to Monteckos.

''N-n-no.'' Vert stammered, looking away quickly. Why had he been staring? There was nothing different about his master. He was just... seeing him differently. Trying his hardest to shake that thought out of his head, and failing miserably, he kept his eyes focused on the ground and didn't look up once.

Fremmed frowned, oppressing the urge to apologize. What was wrong with him today? First he took a Montecko into his house, then he wanted feel the beast, and now he wanted to say sorry? There was something very wrong with him, and if his father had seen it, Fremmed would've been sent away to see if he was sane.

Vert remained looking at the ground, eyes fixed on a single patch of the furry floor. He might've asked why the ground was furry, but didn't really feel it was a good situation right now. Besides, his master didn't seem very happy with him, so he just remained in awkward silence as he wondered what to do next.

Fremmed ran his hand through his hair. "It's getting late. You're going to stay up here for the night, got it? I'll grab some blankets from the other room so you can sleep on the floor." He said at last. Fremmed didn't feel bad for making the Montecko sleep on the floor while he got the bed. The teen stood up and went to grab some covers, returning back a minute later with them in his arms.

Vert nodded slightly, and remained seated while he awaited his masters return. He had never used blankets in his life, having slept on cold floors, or in beds of straw, so was at a loss on what to do with them. Even so, he stood up and mumbled a 'thank you' and watched to see what Fremmed did with the blankets.

Fremmed kind of just dropped the blankets on the floor without a thought, expecting Vert to know what to do with them. Glancing at his clock, he saw it was time for dinner. "Stay." He grunted, before turning to leave and closing the door behind him.

[[Sure. :3]] Vert sighed as his master disappeared again. He hated that clock, he decided. Staring awkwardly at the covers on the floor for a moment, he finally gave up trying to figure out how to use them, and decided to try something an old Montecko had once taught him. He crossed his legs, rested his elbows on his knees, with his wrists crossing where his ankles did, sat straight and closed his eyes. He hadn't straightened out the blankets before he did this, and was too deep within his own mind far too quickly to do anything now.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Fremmed stumbled up the stairs, suddenly very tied. His mother had told him that his father was away for some reason, and wouldn't be coming back for five days. His mother was going on a road trip with his sister for four days tomorrow, so he would be left alone on the farm. He would have thought that have been good, but he really didn't want to be left alone with all of the Monteckos. He opened his door and closed it behind him. Looking up, Fremmed tilted his head, wondering what Vert was doing.

Vert, completely unaware of the fact that Fremmed had entered the room, began mumbling softly in some strange language which even he didn't know. He was unaware he was doing this, too, but it was certainly audible, although the words were impossible to make out. Eventually, his eyes opened, but they appeared... distant. Unseeing, but not as if he wasn't capable of seeing. As if he just didn't. They appeared to be glowing even more fiercely than ever, and the words he was mumbling quickened in pace, but grew no louder. Even his skin began to becom slightly luminous, with a faint green glow.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Fremmed took a step back in surprise at the sight of Vert glowing... Literally. He blinked and rubbed his eyes, thinking that it was just a trick of light, but it was still there when he opened his eyes again. Looking at Vert, Fremmed felt something weird, almost like a tingle, all over his body. The feeling surprised him more than seeing the Montecko glowing. He guessed that this might be something natural that happened to Vert's kind, so he slid down the door until he was sitting and waited for whatever was happening to stop.

The glowing brightened even more, too quickly to be registered properly. It ended in a bright flash that would blind most for a few seconds, followed by Vert's eyes fading to their usual appearance. His shoulders slumped, and his chin rested against his chest for a moment, before he looked up and blinked in surprise, wondering what had happened and why he was so drained. In actual fact, he had let out a burst of energy, and any plants, animals, or people within about ten to twenty feet should've been feeling full of life.

Fremmed jumped, suddenly energized. He felt like he could run a mile out and back, which scared him. "Vert? What'd you do?" He asked slowly, standing up and sitting back down beside the Montecko. He took the blanket into his hands and pulled it onto the beast. The teen guessed that Vert didn't know himself by the ex
pression he had on.

Vert didn't move, just blinked in surprise once more and tilted his head up slightly so he was looking at the human. ''I... uh... I'm not quite sure.'' He replied, voice faint and quiet as he himself tried to figure out what on earth had happened. ''An old Montecko I once knew taught me how to do that before he died... but I never tried to do it before now.''

Fremmed's lips twitched downward, but he had expected the 'I don't know' part of the answer. He guessed that was fine, no one seemed to had gotten hurt. "Ready for bed?" He asked, changing the subject. Fremmed didn't want to know anything about the old man.

''Um... yes.'' Vert replied, giving a weak smile, but still not moving. His master's face had changed slightly, and he thought the human appeared unhappy with something, whatever that something was. Maybe he didn't like what the Montecko had just done. Vert himself didn't like it, anyway.

Fremmed got up and took off his *censored*, throwing it into a basket, and got under the covers for bed. "'Night" After a few minutes of shifting about, he fell asleep.

[[Lawls I take it you forgot the 'r' in 'shirt'. |D]] Vert mumbled something inaudible in reply, and remained seated like that for another few minutes, before finally standing up, glancing over to see how Fremmed used the blanket, and attempting to copy him. In the end, he ended up asleep under a messed up blanket that was twisted and nearly the opposite of straight.

Fremmed woke up, feeling very fresh for some reason. He stretched his arms up and glanced at the clock, freezing when he saw that he had slept in about an hour. He looked around his room, and jumped when he saw Vert on the floor. For a second, he forgot that he had told the Montecko to sleep there.
