Jason laughed, handing the grumpy-looking man their tickets, and climbed into one of the carts. He grinned at her teasingly. "Would you get mad at me if I tipped us over?" He started to rock the cart back and forth.

Jason walked beside her, holding her hand with a feeling of accomplishment. He'd finally made a friend in this stinking town he'd been forced to move to. Well, she was technically more than a friend, but whatever. Still. He blinked at the roller coaster as they got in line. "Well, this will be interesting."
