He started to pant in his sleep a little from the heat, and so he subconsciously began to make things colder once more.

Growling as the temperature began to chill once again she got up and searched the cave again. She looked everywhere before realizing that the cold temperatures where coming from under her bed. Walking back over to it she hoisted up the bed to find Ryu curled up like a baby. "hey wake up you lazy bum, get out from under my bed." she said as she nudged him with her boot.

Stretches and yawns before opening his eyes. "Kaylee? What are you doing in my dream?" He asked not realizing it was in fact hers, and he had dream jumped. The cave temperature quickly returning to normal.

Lowering her own temperature she laughed at his confusion. "You mean my dream. This is my dream and you seem to have dream jumped into it." she said as she moved the bed to the opposite side of the cave. Turning around she watched him shake the sleepiness off of him with her observant emerald eyes.

He rolled out from under the bed and landed on his hands and feet, soon stretching, just like a cat. He then sat back on his haunches. He looked around as he did so. "Is this where you used to live?"

He smiled at her, and then walked over. He wrapped his arms gently around her, as if to say, 'Don't worry, I'm here for you now and always.'

"Maybe. But what could have possibly happened that needs to be looked at." Seeing a shadow in her peripheral vision she turned and looked out at the mouth of the cave.

Not hearing his response, she broke free of his embrace and walked quietly towards the mouth of the cave. Not entirely sure what was out there her claws and teeth elongated and she reached for her swords while keeping an eye on the spot where she last saw the figure.

It was clear that the shadow had eyes. It blinked at her, but said nothing and did not make a move. It's eyes where a golden color.
Ryu noticed the shadow now and looked over and noticed the shadow. He growled in warning, but didn't make a move, not sensing a threat from it.

Her muscles tightened as the eyes glowed an eerie gold. Hearing the warning growl behind her from Ryu hardly registered in her mind. All of her attention was focused on that shadow. ~who are you and what do you want with us?~

Ryu remained unmoving, but was ready to attack at a moments notice.
