~Stella~ Stella smiled then ran off towards where the whimper came from to find Max shivering in the deep snow, she quickly helped him out and lead him back home, quietly sneaking into the house, and upstairs. Max had jumped onto her bed once they got into her room, "Shh...Max stay here this time" She whispered before turning around and sneaking back downstairs, and into the kitchen, grabbing a piece of cooked meat she found in the fridge, and heading back outside, making her way back to the beast. 'Why do I feel so comfortable around it? why is this beast so different...' She thought to herself as she heard it in the distance.

- Strolling past a tree I heard her footsteps and my feet came to a halt as I smelled cooked meat carrying on the air, mixed with the smell of her.- 'where is that coming from?' Turning around I loped silently through the woods till I got a few feet from her where I lurked in the shadows watching her, admiring her antics and nature. Seeing the meat in her hand my nose betrayed me and stuck out of the bushes before my feet followed suit stepping out of the shadows a distance from where she was walking towards me. My eyes wide with curiosity once again as I slowly approached her my head low, ears perked forward.-

Stella smiled once again, bent down, and placed the meat infront of the beast, then slowly, she got up and backed up a few steps. "I hope this is alright, I didn't know what you liked...."
She said looking at it, her eyes glowing yellow and her dark red hair now a light red with silver lining from the moonlight coming through the large gap in the trees overhead.

- Looking at her as she set it down and looked back at me I finally dropped my nose, found the meat and gulped it down in one swallow. licking my lips I gave my body a good shake then straightened up and looked to the sky as snow flakes began to trickle down between the pine branches and Fir branches. Looking back down at her I stepped forward and finally circled her completely my nose nearly touching her at some points as I tried to get a feel for who I was dealing with. But instead the smells I picked up seemed to resurrect a very strange companion like feeling. Sitting down a few feet from her I looked down at her looking into her blazing yellow eyes as they stared back at me.-

'What is it doing....' Stella thought to herself as the beast circled her then sat down looking into her eyes. A couple snowflakes had fallen on her face, others soaking into her hair, giving her a chill, and making her fold her arms, it was now moonhigh, meaning it was getting colder by the minuet, 'Midnight, snowing forest, and in North Dakota? no wonder its cold' she thought quietly as she gave a small shiver, 'I should be used to this, I lived in UK for goodness sake' she scolded herself as she was spooked by the noise of a twig snapping from deeper into the forest, then looking back at the beast.

- Twisting my ear at the snapping twig I smelled the deer that caused the ruckus and dismissed it, seeing her shiver from the chill I sniffed at her then elusively walked up to her and bumped her wrist causing the blade to let loose and fall to the ground. Staring at her I laid at the base of a massive Fir tree curling my tail and tucking my feet in just a way that it provided a comfy resting place, looking to her with expectance I hoped she could understand.- ' How strange this is for me to allow this behavior from myself... '

Stella watched the beast lie down at the Fir, then followed, then sat with it feeling the warmth of its thick fur, then started to pet it, smiling in a thank you. She gave a quiet yawn, curling her tongue like a dog, then looked up at the sky, seeing the moon right overhead, it was almost full moon, making a beautiful silver glow to everything its light hit. "I thought America was all big cities, flashing lights and busy people, I was clearly wrong..." She smiled as she looked back at the beast, "I'm Stella....do you have a name? Oh what am I saying, beast can't talk" she sighed looking down then out into the forest.

Stella looked wide eyed at the beast, then took her hand from his pelt "I knew you weren't just an average beast" she said slowly rising and backing up a few steps from the beast, watching her knife from the corner of her eye just incase, though she did trust it, 'What is this...' "What are you?"

Stella looked in surprise, she had heard very old legends about Shifters but she had never seen one, her great uncle always used to talk about her great grandfather, who was supposedly a Shifter, but she never believed it as a kid. "A Shifter? So your a human" She said relaxing a bit more now

Stella looked in interest at Dominik, then walked back over and sitting infont of him, "This is incredible, I'v never seen a Shifter before...I always thought they were just old legends" She smiled, she knew she felt a human spirit inside of him, but she wasn't sure. "Do you live in a pack, a loner or in a city in your human form?" She couldn't help but ask, her curiosity got the best of her.

" We are as old as legend yes, There aren't as many as there once was but now a days all left, stay in hiding for the most part. I live alone, a few miles from here" I explain licking at my paw before setting it down.

Stella suddenly thought about her great grandfather, wondering what happened to him, 'is he hiding from the world..? No! of course not, he couldn't live that long..could he?' shaking the thought away she spoke. "If your to stay hidden, then why tell me?" She smirked looking into Dominik's eyes, and trying not to get lost in thought.

" Because I like you, You smell like the earth and your companion-" I swing my nose towards the second floor window where the dog was lying with his head on his paws staring out from the window down at us, "- he's a very old soul, good guardian to have in these woods. Especially with what lurk about in the shadows that mere humans cannot see" Lying down in front of her, my tail draped over my hind leg I stared into her eyes, " But you can. Can't you"

Perking up with a crooked and slightly creepy grin as she turned her attention behind me I spoke, " You know what I mean, Stella. You see that Aura Walker behind me. I can see the reflection in your eyes as he catches your attention, Do you think just any person off the street can see him?"
