Suddenly Stella lost her breath but let out a small yelp-like gasp as the bully ran into her, knocking her onto the ground, "That's what you deserve, you are nothing" he said with hate, his pride clearly taken over him. Getting up Stella popped her back and began dodging hits as the bully threw them, 'This place has problems, what am I supposed to do' she thought quietly before striking a hit at his chest, knocking him back a bit.

Standing behind the bushes now i sniffed the air hearing kids voices overwhelming any chance there was of silence, 'Stella?' i spoke mentally in question watching the doors.

The voices of the many students were overwhelming, making everything hard to keep track of, suddenly losing her guard, Stella was knocked to the side and into the doors which led outside. Getting up, she backed up out of the doorway and outside until the man came barreling towards her, being light on her feet and dodged the attempt at tackling again and kicked him in the side as he passed her, making him come to an unsteady halt.

Hearing a sudden BANG the doors crashed open Stella tripping out into the yard. Immediately my muscles tensed as i saw the guy make a move then come to a stop preparing for the next. She was in danger, getting my wits about me i immediately fell into my human form, my eyes glowing their un-natural colors, my teeth fang like a black v-neck t-shirt clung to my body while a pair of black Tripp NYC Rib Chasers (chain pants) hung snuggly on my hips. Leaving her bag where it was on the ground i stood fully and walked towards Stella.

Stella was about to dodge another hit but then saw a stranger walking towards them and forgot about the hit coming at her and went backwards just in time. She continued dodging the hits, watching the stranger out of the corner of her eye, wondering who he was and what he was doing. Suddenly taking a deep breath in she recognized something but she couldn't put her finger on it.

A look of sinister determination on my face his knuckles barely grazed her cheek before she dodged and I stepped in front of her. " Hey get outta the way you jerk, i'm gonna beat this little girl-" " you touch her again, and it will be, the last thing you ever do" my voice was smooth as satin with a dangerous edge to it my eyes boring into his as he finally made eye contact. " what the hell's up with your eyes huh? you stupid or something?" he laughed having to look up at me to do so. Not answering he laughed once again and tried to elude me by dodging around my side. Grabbing Stella's shirt then losing his grip i grabbed his throat and barely squeezing enough to kill held him off the ground eye level with me. " I warned you, not to touch her again" I growled before setting him down. Everyone around us went quiet in confusion and frustration. Standing stock still the guy looked me up and down then sneered, " i'm gonna teach you alesson for messin with me!" he yelled winding his fist back and throwing it forward towards my chest but instead hit the dead center of my palm the sound of each knuckles popping and two snapping as i closed my hand over his my face remained vacant of ex
pression. His eyes shot wide as he slowly pulled his hand back his mouth gaping as he tried to figure out how to handle his injured hand. Turning back to look at me he glared at Stella, " This is your fault! You can't even defend yourself! have to get your boyfriend to do it for you" he prodded sniveling at her before stepping in her direction. Blocking him i placed his hand against his chest and applied pressure staring him dead in the eyes my voice in Alpha mode my demeanor dangerous. " She's far better at defending herself than you are, obviously. I am not her boyfriend, I am far more than you could imagine and you just happened to mess with someone i hold very dear to me. Should this happen again, I'll come back here.-" turning towards Stella my hands on her shoulders i glanced to his hands and back up, " And I'll break them all. One.By.One" Turning Stella away from the building i grabbed the bag and noticed every kid in the yard staring at us and talking to one another.

Stella stared wide-eyed at everything happening, clueless as to what was going on. "Hey thanks for helping me but who are you?" She started but suddenly stopped as this guy's scent traveled to her, a familiar scent of the forest, "Dominik....?" she said in a very quiet tone, hoping he didn't actually hear it and thought she was crazy.

Not looking down at her but keeping my eyes ahead I gave a silent nod, " Yes" Seeing all the kids staring as we passed I rested my left hand on Stella's shoulder and together we walked off campus grounds and into the woods, " you're probably going to get a lot of questions tomorrow" I thought out loud my accept taking on a smooth yet audible tone.

Stella studied Dominik then looked down, "I know, hopefully I'll get expelled and not have to deal with my last year of highschool..." she sighed quietly, she never looked forward to her senior year and was especially upset about having to spend it in a whole other country. She stepped on a large tree root that was sticking half out of the ground then stumbled a bit, a sharp pain went up her side when she so and out of instinct she placed her hand over where it was hurting and kept walking.

Looking to Stella's side where her hand guarded the injured area I glanced back to see if we were out of everyone's line of sight, when the coast proved clear I brought her to a stop. Bending down on one knee I studied her side through her shirt, my eyes glancing around the area. Lifting my hands I cupped them over the wound forming half a sphere with them and stared with determination at my hands, slowly a red glow seeped between the openings in my fingers a black mist running over my hands. Pushing all of my concentration into my hands the magic slowly swirled over the wound pulling the injury away and leaving fresh untouched skin. Then with a quiet leave, the glow died out, the mist stopped my hands sitting over her side still. Standing back up after removing my hands I looked to her for the first time and gave a half smirk before turning and continuing down the trail at a slow, wandering pace.

Stella looked at her side then at Dominik, her golden eyes wide with curiosity, "How did...." she said in a very quiet tone. After walking this trail for a bit she started to look around and realized she'd never been to this part of the forest, "Where are we if I may ask?" she said picking up pace a little bit so she was right next to him.

"Where are we heading then?" Stella asked looking around, this part of the forest was a bit different, the trees seemed darker, it was quieter as well leaving a eerie feeling. A chill went up her spine as a slight breeze blew behind them, almost feeling as if something ran by too quickly to be seen.

Dominik strode quietly next to Stella his massive frame towering over hers, least this human shell held his height in the human world well, but he couldn't say much more for the rest of it. " It's the deeper part of these woods. I've been here a time or two, shadows lurk in these areas. "

'That doesn't answer my question' Stella thought, but held her tongue. "It seems more than just shadows lurk here, we are being watched." She said looking deeper into the woods, unable to identify what may be hiding. After focusing on the darkness a crow had made a clumsy attempt to fly from the treetops, making her jump and bump into Dominik.

Hearing the crow flap awkwardly upward making for a messy take off I was caught off guard when Stella jumped sideways bumping into me. Catching her instinctively even if she wasn't falling my hands grasped her arms firmly but light enough to not hurt her. " Stay close to me" my voice was calm with the slightest edge of un-ease as I released her.

Stella hadn't expected Dominik to grab her and almost hit him out of instinct. Doing as she was told, she noticed he was a bit un-easy and was about to question him again, but decided to stay quiet and not be her bothersome self.

Keeping look out around us, I watched the trees and the shadows that seemed to dart between them. Coming to a slight incline her and I slid down easily stopping at the bank of slowly freezing river that rushed over the rocks, pushing shards of ice at are feet. " when we reach the other side of this river, run. Don't look back, don't listen for anything, just run as fast as you can to the other side of the pasture over there-" pointing to the almost non existent light peeking between the trees some two miles ahead I continued, " run for those trees" I breathed.

Stella's eyes had narrowed at what Dominik was saying, what was so dangerous that she had to run like that? she shook her head trying not to imagine it then looked down, noticing they were almost across she gave an sigh. "Where will you be? Will you be following?" She asked, she didn't want to leave him behind if thats what he was asking of her, especially if he was asking her to leave him alone with some kind of beast, wether he was one or not.

( I went Ghost for awhile. I apologize. I ended up quitting my job and moving to Florida, on top of that my computer contracted some sort of virus but seems to be recovering slowly. How have you been? I've missed you guys)
