Acheron shrieked. It was like he was saying; 'I heard that last part, mister!' He unfurlded his wings and shook his head while he fanned out his tail feathers in defiance. Then he hooked his beak around the bony tail of the fish, removed the talons that was sitting on the fish, and flicked his head up, tossing the half-eated fish at Lake. It landed near the as$as$ins feet.

His golden eyes looked at the fish, then Lake, then back at the fish. It was like Asheron was excepting him to finish off the fish.

"Eeeewwww...."

He didn't sound grossed out, but he looked at the fish.  "I hope your not expecting a 'thank you,' Wolfie, because I like mine cooked!"

He then smirked, crossing his arms.  "I'm off duty right now, why not sit down, and talk?  I know we've only knwon each other for about twenty minutes total, but I feel close...That and I rally can't afford to move my arm around much..."    He said, glancing at his shoulder.

Acheron tilted his head to one side before he flew off the branch and landed on the empty spot on the bench. Then, he shifted back to him human form, though he started talking before all the feathers had completely melted into his skin; "What is there to talk about, Lake? Didn't you get enough questions in at the wax museum? And please stop calling me Wolfie. My name is Acheron Styxx."

"Okay...Archie, then,"  He smiled, getting into more of a sitting position, and crossing his left leg of his right leg andleaning forward a bit, crossing his arms, but quickly, moved his left arm back to slinging it ofer the bench with the quick 'Ouch...' after realizing the agrivation he put on his shoulder.

"Not really anything to talk about..I just hate being alone,"  He said, lookign at the fish, then pickign it up to wave iut in frotn of him.

"Oh, would you like to finish this?"

Acheron's brow twitched with slight annoyance. When Lake waved the half-eated in fornt of him, he shook his head. "Naw. I ate as much as I could when I was an osprey." A small smile graced his lips before it vanished as he pulled his knees up to his chest before wrapping his arms around his legs, hugging them closer.

"Heh,"  He dropped the fish on the other side of the bench and looked to the sky.  "I must say, Archie...I'm quite torn on what to do.  I don't want to go through with it, and I've already tried wiring the money back to their account, but they won't accept...Ansd I've never backed out before..."  He sighed, sounding a mix of annoyed, and bored.

Acheron glanced at Lake with one gold, green fleck eye. "Lie. Say you killed me," he said simply.

"It's not gonna work like that,"  He said.

"Your still a killer....And no, I'm not beating around the bush to ask you to stop killing.  But if they find out I'm stalling..." He sighed.

"That aof Collin...Macho idiot will probably not get in trouble if I...."

"If you what, Lake?" Acheron asked in a very impatient tone. Both golden eyes were on the as$as$in now as he glared coldly at him. The colour of his eyes now similar to the colour of golden bars. "Don't kill me? You might as well. I've already killed again." 

Just at that moment, a child's scream rose up into the night.

"Mutilate them with one of my forms. One you probably haven't seen yet," Acheron said.

[[ Maybe Collin could come in now and and just randomly attack Acheron. ]]

(Okay.  What should Lake do? DX However, I do enjoy him getting all macho and yelling when he really doesn't need to. XD)

"..Ouch,  That's interesting,"  Lake said sarcastically.

 "LAKE! IT'S THE MURDERER!"  Lake jumped, lookign around to see Collin nowhere in seight, but he apperently coudl see them.

"Damn it, Collin...."  He growled, standing up abruptly, jumpign at the sudden pain in hsi shoulder.

"STAY AWAY FORM HIM!" Collin yeleld jumping out, lookign at Lake.  ":How did you get out of the hospital?  Did he KIdnap you?"

"Your the brightest pan on the stove, aren't cha?"  He asked, tone barely ausdible.

Acheron chuckled and stood up. He put an elbow on Lake's uninjured shoulder and leaned against it. "We just happened to meet up, Macho-man. Me and Lake-y were just getting to know each other a little better." He raised one hand and lightly patted Lake on the arm.

[[ Hm... I'm not sure what Lake could do. ]]

"Besides, Collin...As far as I knwo he;s not, because I didn't run into the guy, or anyone hostile when rammed the damn door into me!"  Lake growled.

"I know he's the guy, now!  There';s no way!  He's stalkgin you, because he knows that you are A; You look liek a girl, and all his vitoms are girls, and B: Your on the case of killign him."

Lake pasued.  "Uhhnn...Never looked at it liek that before....I guess it's possible....But I doubt," 

"Lake, are you BRAIN-DAMMAGED?"  "Well m,there was that time where I was standing on your shoulders to hack a security system, and you saw a shadow run by and as$umed it was a hostile and ran to cover the corner, and ended up crackign my skull!"  Lake complained, pointiong to hsi head.

Acheron watched the two males. Not saying anything this time. He wanted to see how this conversation laid out.

"Look, Lake.  If they find out your trying to hide a killer, they'll kill you,"  Collin said, glaring at the person standing next to Lake.

"Well, I'm not, so don't worry, Collin,"  He said, surprised his partner wasn't acting like a macho idiot, and actually being serious.  "Then why are you out of the hospital?"  Collin asked, eyebrow raised.  "..Just needed some fresh air..."  "Well, you got it.  Why not you go back home and rest?"  "Your not my baby sitter Collin."

Acheron sighed and pushed off of Lake trying to shake off Collin's glare. He walked over to the small river and placed his hands into his pockets, looking up into the sky. Then he turned back to the two; "So what are you going to do exactly? With me?" The uncertianty in his voice was clear.

"...Go back, Collin.  I'm gonig to hide.  I have all my money taken out of my account, then closed it.  I'm disappearing.  Unless you want to die...Then go away..."  He said, surprised even in himself a little that he was acting cold to him.  Collin just stared, it was a few seconds before he said:

"...So, this is him?  Why?"  "..I don't know myself...I'm just sick of my life in general.  I'm taking my money with me, though..."  He said with a smirk, looking at Collin.  "You're not onbessed with money, so stop...I...I know youve made you discision.  But just because your not killing him.  It's still my job, and I will get a new partner...So...I guess our paths will cros...I never saw you..."  He said, then turned and left.  "..Goodbye..."  Lake said.

The shapeshifter watched Lake. He was unsure of what the as$as$in would do now. Tilting his head to one side, he softed into the form of a red wolf and padded up behind Lake as he nudged the man's hand with his wet nose. A small whin escaped his throat.
