Acheron stuggled against the officer. A soft screech came from his throat as feathers began to outline his skin. "What do you want?" he said rather harshly to the office at his back.

"What are you stooges doign in my apartment?!"  Lake growled, obviously not remembwerign abotu thwe undercover As$as$in thing momentarily.

"Do you own this apartment?"  One cop asked, walkign over to him, withj a pencile and a notepad.

"Get the hell out of here and my way, you have no right to be here, do oyu have a search warrent?!"

He said, then puched the cop out of his way to aid Acheron, by shovign the other cop that already cuffed Acheron.  "You okay?  What happeend?"  He questioned before dropping to his knee's from a Stun gun, and was knocked unconcious with an unessacary and uncalled for eighteen more shots.

"B astard,"  The cop growled.

Acheron didn't have time to responed to Lake, but the words were on the tip of his tongue. When Lake fell, Acheron exhaled a breath and growled. His eyes narrowed until they were golden slits. But before he could launch his attack, he felt several volts of energy surge through his body. A strangled growl was ended short as he clamped his mouth closed and collapsed against the wall.

He woke up in a holding cell that was meant for prisoners to be questioned before being put in jail.  He saw Acheron next to him.  He was too sore to move at the moment, but heard laughing, making him sit up immediatly,

He saw who was laughing, and glared.  "You killed my ferret, Putz!"  Lake snarled, wishign for all the world he could kill the man.  "Just a rat.  Anyway, I told them you had weed.  They said they didn't have any weed, but you have several empty air fresheners in out bedroom, and they had enough evidence to put you ion jail for as$ulting the cops.  and, wel...There's that guy over there..."

"I hate you so much...."  Lake growled, through gritteded teeth.

 Acheron woke to a pounding headache. He growled and shook his head. Slouched against the wall, he tried to sit straight up, but his headache preveneted it. He growled again slid down to his side. "I need to get out of here," he said softly.

"I can do that...Well..Your both twenty-five thousand dollor bail..."  Qent smirked, lookign at Lake's ex
pression. 

"I can bail us out myself!"  He growled, then looked at Acheron.

"Yes, but where will you go?  Do you know what will happen if they find out about him?" Lake tensed.

"..I...Don't knwo what your talkign about..."  "Of course ya do, Lake!"  Qent smirked. 

"Just leave me alone, I do not want to talk to you, I just want you out of my life,"  Lake growled, the only thing keeping him from lunging at the other man was the bars that seperated them.

Acheron growled a warning at Qent as he glared at the man with his cold golden eyes. He calculated the chances of people seeing him shift to a snake to bite the man in front of the bars. The odds weren't in his favour.

"Whatever.  When you bail yourselves out, make damn sure that you'll talk to me, Love,"  He smirked.

"....."

Lake didn't say anythign as he saw a cop approch him.  "Okay, we're going to have to take you boys into questioning,"  He said.  "I'd prefer to just write the fifty-thousand bail for us and get the hell out,"  He grumbled standign up.  Bad move, he was still to weak and collapsed on one knee immediatly, and realising the unpleasant pain in his shoulder that was bent uncomfortably.

"That's fien too, son,"  He said, then walked over to Lake and taking off his cuffs, where he imediatly grabbed his throbbing shoulder, and the cop walked over to Acheron and began the same process.

"Now, do you have a checkbook?"  He questioned, after taking both cuffs. "Yeah..."

When Acheron's hands were free, he rubbed his wrists and growled as he tried to stand up. He wobbled sligtly and thought to just sprout his wolf-forms tail just to stay balanced. But he decided against it as he soon decided against it when the mechanisims in his inner ear started to work properly again.

After bail was paid, Lake had been able to hid his pain, up until they left the police station.

"I think we should go to the park, and sit on a bench until we can figure things out...There's no way we can go back to my apartment," He grumblked.  "I cannot beleive we are having so much trouble...Oh, wait,"  He realied what was said.  'That muesem should be fixed by now...Do you want to go back there?  Qent doesn't knwo abotu that...And it's not liek you need to stay here, or anything, anyway, I'm sorry."

Acheron listened to Lake's rambling in silence. But then again, he wasn't registering the words. His mind was somewhere else. He was thinking about where he could take refuge besides the muesem. He sighed. "Its fine Lake. And Im going to wander around for a while. Try to find a town that I like. Or go to the other two shifters still alive..." he said, trailing off.

Lake watched him leave.  A sharp pain made it's way to his chest for some unknown reason.  He fetl sad the other was going.  But he just went to the park.  Someplace he always went to.

In the park he realised it was completely empty.  He sat on a bench, layign on it.  His head hurt, his shoulder was throbbing, and his back from where he got shocked made hi mwant to pas$ out, somethign he accompliched moments later.

Acheron made sure that nody was around before he shifted into his phoenix. Dried blood ecrusted its talons and beak. He beat his crimson wings and lifted off into the air. But first, he landed on the same park bench that Lake lay on. His head was near the other man's injuried shoulder. 

The fire bird shrieked and took off again. Heading out of town. Maybe he'd see Lake again. Acheron smiled the best he could. 'I'd like that,' he said to himself.

(He couldn't have at least cried on his shoukder, litteraly to heal it?! XD

Okay, I need to think up what to do. >_>")
