Nylat glanced at him.
"No, I'm not, but I'm the one he goes after. If i can't even dodge his attack, I'm as useful as a leaf."
She flicked her tail over her feet, still slightly foul-tempered. It wouldn't be so bad if she knew when she'd be able to feel her paw again. The hybrid sighed, and laid down, rolling over on her good side, growling.
"And on top of that, even if I can dodge, I'll be slowed because of these wounds."

((FAIL))

Mo nodded in turn as Naigi introduced all around him.  He stood silently and listened as the others began discussing some enemy that apparently hunted Nylat.  Hair rising on the back of his head, he scurried over to her, crawling on her back, proclaiming,

"I'll stop anyone from hurting you!"

He snapped his jaws for dramatic effect.

"If they come after you, I'll pounce on their face!"

Naturally he then leapt from her head and began furiously shredding one of the birds he had knocked out of the tree earlier.  Finally stopping the whirlwind of fur and chattering, he stood and smilled brightly at Nylat a single feather poking out of his mouth.

A faint groan was heard from the white puff on the ground known as Sayuri.

((meh, that works. She just might be a little madder than I expected :P))

Mo nodded to Ace and was about to answer as Nylat spoke to him.  He donned a wild grin and winked at her.

"I can do a trick or two in the shadows too. It doesn't not matter whether or not he is twenty times my size, I will still face him in the heat of battle."

He made a quick salute and then bowed lowly to Nylat mimicking tipping a hat.  He then turned back to Ace and answered,

"Yeah, we crawled out of that one little window that others not quite of our...."

He glanced at the two large canines,

"...stature could squeeze through.  Pushed a cage over and jumped, then VIOLA!! Sweet freedom from that stuffy hole of blackness! After that we hadn't gone far until we heard a loud thump which was what I *censored*ume your escape. You all existed the building soon afterwards and we've been scurrying after you since. Do you know if there were any others left?"

Sayuri, who had awoken and began to listen, still to dizzy to speak.

Zyano lifted his head, his body still laid out on the vivid green gras.s of the glade, his golden eyes focused on Mo. "I don't believe there were any others," He murmured in reply to the smaller hybrid's question. "Many of the cages were... Well, occupied, but not with the living," 

Standing, the giant wolf hybrid allowed himself a stretch, the afternoon sun glinting on his sandy fur. He padded over to the deer carcas.s he'd dragged to the glade earlier, before glancing over his shoulder at Nylat. "Are you going to eat anything?" He asked, Naigi settling herself on the giant wolf's head.

"It might be a good idea for you to do so, hungry or not," She smiled, her ferret like head on Nylat. "Your going to need your energy, especially if Jevak shows up again..." The little black hybrid shuddered visibly, laying her own head on Zyano's and her ex
pression wary.

Ace, who had remained sat where he was, flicked his tail around his paws, his dark silver ocelot markings standing out against his pale silver fur as he flopped onto the gras.s, stretching himself luxuriously. "I suppose I can always hope he won't show up again?"

"You could," Zyano replied with a growl. "But somehow I don't think we're getting off that easy." At that moment, Naigi perked up again, glancing around.

"You know what I don't get?" She asked. "Why does he keep going after Nylat?..."

((I dun even know why. XD))

Nylat flicked her tail, finally giving in.
"Fine. I'll eat."
It was plain in her voice that she wasn't all too willing to do so, but since she had no choice, she padded over to the deer caracas.s and set her two front paws on it, grabbing a leg with her teeth and pulling it off, then took a huge bite of it, contemplating Naigi's question.
"Not...Sure..."
She managed to say it between bites. Nowt that she was eating, she herself realized she was ravenous. She had soon finished that leg and was working on another.

Morticay stroked his chin for a moment and paced back anad fortth as he tryed to think of the answer to Naigi's question.

"Hmm....well....hmmmm.........Aha!!"

He pointed suddenly at Nylat,

"Was he in the cage next to you?"

Sayuri stood and walked over to her brother, also posing a question for Nylat.

"Or were the two of you in experiments together? Your situation sounds eerily lik that of a spurned I-want-to-be-with-you fantasy.

"Precisely my thinking sis!"

"I thought so. And if this is true..."

"He'll probably keep coming back..."

"And in higher frequencies as you grow closer to Mr. Wolf." 

They both nodded, smiled, shook each others paws, and congratulated each other on their findings.They then began to do an elaborate high five.

Zyano shrugged at Naigi's question, somewhat relieved that Nylat had decided to take his advice. Well, Naigi's... He was pretty sure she wasn't listening to him, anyway. Flicking an ear, he looked off at the distant trees aroud the glade, his thoughts elswhere.

He only turned back to look at Mo and Sayu as they put together their so called answer, his face portraying his complete and utter confusion.

Naigi, still sat on the great wolfs head, cracked out laughing, eventually falling to the earth and rolling around in unbidden glee. "It... Wouldn't really... s-surprise me... All that much," She said through her laughter, stopping abruptly when Zyano put a heavy paw on her head with a mumbled "ouch,"

Removing his paw, he simply watched the smaller hybrids. Somehow, he doubted that was the reason, they'd been jumping to conclusions because of, well... What they thought they'd seen, surely? Turning away, he sat on his haunches, delibrately keeping his eyes busy elsewhere as Naigi straightened herself up.

Ace had chuckled quietly. It was going to be interesting, having these little weasels with them, that was for sure.

Nylat shook her head, tearing the last leg, as the other had been devoured in mere minutes while the two had been piecing together their solution.
"Never saw him before. Barely saw him before last night. And he's full wolf, he's just gotten boosted. He wouldn't have been in my experiment."
She finished off the leg, then quickly ate the body of the deer, and set aside a rib. She took said rib between her paws, one end up, and started biting it between her teeth and pulling her grip off of it, sharpening it slowly. Eventually, she began to pick at the meat in her teeth with her improvised toothpick.
"And who says I'm even getting close to this airhead here?"

((And I'm HAPPY SPAZZY again.))

The two weasels glowered at Nylat as she shot down their hypothesis.  Simultaineously they both sat and began pouting, only stopping as Nylat made her final comment. With a huge smirk on his face, Mo looked strait at Nylat and stated,

"Well, you are eating his meat."

Sayuri nodded.

"Where we come from that's practically an engagement."

Scurrying around in a tight circle for a second, the two weasels positioned themselves so that Sayuri stood bipedally, one foot kicked up dramatically, her paws clasped to her face. Mo knelt on one knee and, holding the bird-leg he was eating earlier said,

"My dear fair maiden, would you take this meat as a token of my love?"

Sayuri blinked dramatically before responding,

"Oh yes my love! You have no idea how long I've awaited the day you'd bring a carc*censored* for me to eat! Oh how I love you!"

They both then made kissing sounds until they were rolling on the ground, laughing hysterically at their own joke.

Nylat just gave them an emotionless stare. To any that knew her extremely well--which was no one in that group--it was a fair warning to start running. But, in her current state, she couldn't do much.
"Oh, you're lucky I can't run right now, I'd--"
She cut herself off, knowing that she was turning red, so she just returned to picking meat from her teeth, growling and grumbling to herself. Every now and then, the words snack and die would seem to be heard, barely loud enough though.

At Nylat's mention of the word, "airhead", he glanced over his shoulder, his ex
pression unreadable. Upon choosing to ignore the comment, he turned away again, trying his utmost best to ignore the comments spewing from the weasels mouths. He was going to get tired of this very quickly, and he was pretty sure the two of them were here to stay.

With a sigh, he stretched, stopping to glare over his shoulder once they'd cracked out laughing at their personal joke. "You forget to realise we're not even remotely weasel," He said, his ears erect and his golden eyes irritated. He mumbled something else that was darn near unintelligable, then flopped onto his stomach and laid his head on the gras.s.

Naigi, who had been laughing with the sibling hybrids finally got herself under control, wiping her eyes with a paw. "My, my," She said, a giggle still in her throat as she clapped for Mo and Sayu. "They seem to have a pretty good grasp of the situation don't they?"

Ace, who had clearly been trying not to laugh, snorted at the black winged lemur, responding in a tone that clearly followed the joke. "They do indeed. Awfully perceptive, I must say~" There was a second of silence, then both Naigi and Ace collapsed to the floor and rolled around laughing, Zyano flicking an ear in their direction in an agitated manner.

 Mo, getting a hold of his laughter, stood up and walked over to Zyano and patted him on the shoulder.  He wandered over to the wolf's head and looked dead into his eye.

"I know it's a lot to absorb all at once but....could I be your Best Man?"

Sayuri dissappeared into the trees once more and came back almost instantly with some white flowers.  With expert precision she fashioned it into a small crown of white and sprang over to Nylat, placing it over one of her ears. She sprang away and let out a very audible 'Aww' and began chattering to herself and drawing a few scematics on the ground of how they would make the fox hybrid's veil.
