At work, people laughed and joked with her about her eyepatch, then asked what happened. She laughed and said her eye got cut out by Captain Hook. But then, all joking aside, she told them, and they frowned, chiding her for getting into danger. After that, work was normal. Her phone was ringing off the hook and she had to call back so many clients. Finally, her boss came in, and told her she'd be going to court tomorrow, so she knew she'd be up all night, studied hard, looking over the case, it's facts and evidence.

Getting off of work, she hailed a cab, and headed to the hospital. The receptionist greeted her. "Silerous! Ah, love the eyepatch, it works for you. Jhonathan's in there, with Katana." Silerous nodded, thanked her and headed to the room.She didn't want to intrude, so she just sat down outside the doorway, to the side of it, and waited for Katana to leave. She puleld out her laptop and began typing, working on her case and emails.

Silerous saw Katana exit the room, and she said hello. They talked briefly then they bid farewell. Silerous closed her laptop, then went into the room. "So you have gone insane. I come to find you sitting on the bed, staring at the ceiling and laughing to yourself. Pills are wise, just to let you know." She smiled and then her cell rang. She answered it, turning away from him to talk. "Yes. Yes. What? Ok, fine. You have a good evening too." She sighed, then placed her phone in her purse. "Can't stay too long, work." She walked over, and sat in the now-familar chair. "So, how're you feeling?"

A few days later, Silerous was heading to a restaurant, to pick up dinner, then head over to her friend's house. It was celebratory, for she had yet again won. It took days, and the jury remained undecided, until one person finally believed the person was guilty. She got out of the taxi; she could no longer drive. She shut the door, and walked up into the restaurant. She was dressed in a plain, black dress. Short, simple. She yanked open the door, adjusting her eyepatch. She smiled at the smell, spicy Puerto Rican food, her favorite. She stood in line, where she chatted with an old friend in front of her.
