Silerous rubbed her hands along the rock. "Come sit, Jhonathan. Enjoy the night." She was happy that he loved it, she had hoped he would. This reminded her of the first time they had met, the song that they had sung. Silerous began to hum it, soft at first, then growing louder. She paused, smiling. "Remember that song?" Her life was so much better with Jhonathan in it, and couldn't imagine breaking up with him. She knew if that happened, she'd be a mess for months. It didn't occur to her that their relationship could be furthered. She looked up, staring at the shimmering moon. She pulled down her hair, and then laid down, staring at the sky she could see through the trees. It was beautiful, and she felt at ease.

Silerous sighed happily, turning her head to look at him. She drank in the sight of him, bathed in the crisp moonlight. She smiled, then said, "Yes, it is. I love this place." She sat up, pulling her knees to her, her hair falling into her eyes, covering her face. Silerous felt more at peace than she ever had. She scooted closer to Jhonathan, resting her head on his shoulder. She had to smile, it was wonderful, just sitting here, with jhoanthan, on a huge rock in the middle of a rushing river. One of the best things ever. She felt like humming, so she did. She picked up where she left off, with that same song they had sang outloud. A breeze blew across them, and she smiled softly to herself.

((...I just realized something. He's about to propose, but I don't think they've said "I love you." I mean, they sorta-kinda did when Jhonathan went to find his cousin, but they haven't really said it. xD))

(( I know, right? xD Is this making your giggle and awww? ))

Silerous felt her heart leap when those four words graced her ears. She lost herself in the comfort of his voice. She was awed everytime she heard him sing; it was amazing. "I love you too, Jhonathan." She told him, turning her head just to look at him. He seemed happy, sitting there, singing. She watched the way he breathed, never missing a note. She wondered if it was possible to die of happiness, for surely that would happen. She felt him shudder, and asked quietly, "Are you alright?" She said this softly, she didn't want to mess with the moment. The water rushing seemed to go faster past them, making it look like a miniature version of rapids. The bushes seemed to whisper, rustling as the water flowed past them. The night was getting shorter; she knew morning would soon come, and that the sun would make an appearance a few hours after that.

Jhonathan looked at her and shook his head "Just a bad thought" he told her, his heart filling with joy when she had told him that she loved him too. He looked up at the sky and realized something, morning would come soon. He panicked, but in his head. "Alright, just bring it out" he thought to himself as he said. "Silerous, I love being with you.. and I hope that we can be together forever" he told her softly as he pulled out the small box containing the ring. "Will you marry me?" he asked, opening the box slowly. His heart seemed to stop for awhile, waiting for her answer but his ex
pression didn't change to doubt. Not one bit.

((I'm fighting the giggles so badly. XD Now here comes the suspense-y drama. o;))

Silerous gasped, taking in the sight of the ring. The question "Will you marry me?" rang through her head, over and over again. She looked up at Jhonathan, the look on his face. Her heart was beating rapidly, so she could only imagine what his was doing. She turned away from him, grateful that her hair covered her face, like a hairy veil. She was facing away from him now, and she was thinking. Hard. She already knew what she wanted to say, the difficult part was saying it. "Jhonathan...." she started slowly, still not looking at him.

(( Oh nuu D': Hold on Jhon! I'll marry ya if she doesn't! xD lolz ))

Jhonathan's heart sank slightly, he didn't know what had just happened and he let out a sigh, looking down at his hands now. "Yeah?" he asked softly, feeling utterly confused. He shook his head of all the negative thoughts that popped up. He calmed down and waited to face the truth, life might seem good but you can never predict the outcome. He felt like closing the box but he held it open, his hands not cooperating with him. "She hasn't said her answer yet" he thought to himself. Surely she wouldn't say no, would she?

(( Rofl. xD She'll say yes. Maybe. o_o))

Silerous turned to Jhonathan then, locking eyes with him. "...my answer," she took a deep breath, "is yes." With that, she hugged him, trying not to cry. She had no explanation why she was going to cry, other than she was just so happy. She then looked up, still hugging him, and said, "I'm sorry for dragging it out, but I had to make sure I heard correctly." She smiled, and tears fell from her eyes. It was one of those weird/awesome/emotional moments, that you can never really explain to someone unless that experienced it first hand.

((See, all better. Unless Jhonathan goes all, "OMG, YOU HAD TO TAKE FOREVER, HUH?!" xDD))

Jhonathan let out a sigh of relief as she said yes and he hugged her back, not wanting to let her go. "It's alright" he told her. Though, she had scared the daylights out of him, it was all good now. He saw the tears fall down her face and couldn't help but smile. He then tok her hand and slid th ring onto her finger. "It fits perfectly" he told her with a smile. The ring shimmered in the moonlight, he had chosen the most expensive ring that they had, his wallet had ended up hurting but it didn't matter.(xD) Jhonathan just looked into her eyes and smiled.

Silerous smiled. "Maybe it's a sign." She looked down at the ring, fingering it. It was gorgeous, and it sparkled like Edward in the moonlight. "Tonight has been the best night of my life so far." She told him, then corrected with, "Well I should say, "our life." " She hugged him tighter, taking in the fact that he was truely there. Silerous relectantly pulled away, then stood. "I guess we better go, before the sun comes up." She brushed off the dress, surprisingly not that dirty from sitting on a grimey rock all night. She offered her hand to Jhonathan, then laughed. "I love how I'm always helping you up."

Jhonathan hugged her back and closed his eyes, not wanting it to ever end. He chuckled slightly "Yeah, it sure is" and then he watched as she got up and offered her hand. Jhonathan smiled and laughed as he took her hand and got up, his suit not wrecked as much as he thought it would be. It had been magical, those few moments before, and he would never forget them. He looked around and slowly climbed down the rock, waiting for Silerous.

Silerous followed, jumping down from the rock, splashing into the cold, rushing water. "Come on, slow poke!" She laughed, looking at Jhonathan, climbing back up the bank, grabbing her shoes. She started jogging along the path, slowly, so Jhonathan could catch up. She'd always remember this night. She had never been so happy, and couldn't wait from them to actually be married. She shrieked quietly to herself, grinning. "I'm getting married! To the most wonderful guy in the wordl!" She told herself, whispering.

"Nah, then you'd be faster than me." Silerous began running, laughing. "Catch me if you can." She ran along the path, emerging through the trees. She stopped, seeing the sky clearly now. It was beautiful, a light blue, stars fading, but still there. She caught her breath, holding it. She felt calm, serene. Nothing could disrupt it. Once again, shel ooked her ring, gasping. It was even more spectacular in the light. She had no clue how he could afford such a thing, but she relaized he must really love her.

 she watched him jog up to her, then wrap his arms around her. Silerous always felt safe in his arms, and hoped she always would be. She looked up at him, smiling. She leaned closer to him, placing her lips onto his. The wind picked up, blowing their hair around, her dress swishing in the wind. That, plus the kiss, made the moment perfect, absolutely perfect. Silerous couldn't help remembering this for the rest of her life, no matter what happened.
