Jared looked left, and then right. He smirked to himself and went back to reading his book. He always had a small fear that some creepy, stalker people were going to kill him because of his mutations, or powers, or whatever the heck you want to call them. [[ Lol ]] Melody glared at the Librarian. Always complaining at the simplest of noises. She rolled her eyes and disappeared behind a bookshelf. She picked up a random book before dropping it to the ground when a blue fire consumed her hand. She looked around and shook her hand until it went away. She winced. It still hurt her, but she was getting more used to it. She saw the librarian come around the corner as she launched into a lecture about taking care of library property. She rolled her eyes and focused on something else in her mind.

Jared's attention was still focused on the Librarian, untill she started speaking to another person in the Library. He rolled his eyes and walked over to her. "Mrs. Wells, here's 50$ for the book." Jared gave her a smile and waited until she walked away. He turned around to face the girl behind him. "Hi, I'm Jared." Jared held out his hand and smiled.
