(( lol, adorable name x3 )) Zien was taken aback. He actually visibly flinched away from Bo. He wasn't expecting her to be so... perky. Especially this early when he was just recovering from a near-death experience. But she was right. He did feel a lot better. He wasn't back to full strength yet and his wound hurt, but hey, he wasn't dead. That was good. He stared at her. She was very young, even for human standards. What was a child doing out in a demon infested forest? "I'm Zien." he said, introducing himself. He gave her a small smile to show he wasn't going to harm her but was careful not to show his fangs. "Are you the one that treated me?" If she had seen his wanted poster then why was she still around? His bounty must be pretty high by now. A high bounty usually meant someone running from you to the nearest hunter. He wondered why she was different.

Bo tilted her head, her glittering in fascination. "Zien? Well then...hi Zien!" She said brightly. At his question she paused and rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "Ha, uh...yea I did. Did you not want a human's help? I guess that's okay. ...Oh! But, here. I made the herb into a liquid, so every two hours for the next six you'll have to change that pad and put a new one on so all the poison can be taken out of your system." She said sweetly, handing him the bottle and the other pads and tape. She was silent for a moment before she stood up. "I'll be right back." And then she ran off. She came back a few minutes later and placed some food in front of him. She sighed softly. "Sorry. I don't know what demons eat...I was told you eat humans but uh...if that's the case too bad. All you can have is chicken. Chicken and rice. You look hungry, anyway. Oh and I also found this thing. I think it belongs to you." She said and handed him the headband that had fallen off of him during that battle with the hunters. She was silent again, just looking at him. He sure was an odd demon. He didn't attack her or yell or anything. From the price on his wanted poster, she imagined he'd be the cruelest demon you'd ever face and he'd attack without hesitation and rip her to shreds. But he didn't. He was calm and collected, and he actually seemed to be a bit confused himself. She was wondered why he was different then the other demons she had encountered that wanted nothing more then to kill her. She stayed sitting in front of him, head tilted slightly as she just stared at him with eyes filled with deep confusion and utter facination.

Zien frowned slightly, what was with this girl? When she handed him the bottle and gave him the instructions he raised an eyebrow. Human medicine was so... exact. Magic was a lot easier. Still, he doubted any human within a hundred miles could preform powerful magic, let alone be willing to help a demon. He almost protested when she left, not wanting her to be ambushed. The few short minutes seemed like long hours as he waited for her to come back. When she did, his face lit up both because she was safe and because there was the unmistakable scent of food along with her. He felt his mouth water at the scent. The poison had made him feel like he hadn't eaten in ages. He partially ignored his returned headband so he could dig into the food, trying his best to show a little manners and not just scarf it down. He succeed to a point, but it was still quite evident that he was hungry. After the edge was taken off his hunger, he paused. The entire time he had felt her stares and although she was innocent and kind enough, it made him slightly paranoid. "Some demons like eating humans. For some it's a necessity of varying levels, but I don't need them and I prefer not to touch human meat at all." he said, before continuing to dig into his food. It was quite delicious and it wasn't just his hunger deciding that. Hopefully he giving her bits of information would stop the stares, they were slightly unnerving, even if she didn't mean him any harm.

Bo was silent for a moment, and her stare became even more confused. She arched an eyebrow. "But...if you don't eat humans, then why is your bounty so high?" She asked, confused. Usually, bounties would get higher by the deaths the demon had caused and therefore it became more and more valuable with all the lives it had taken. She couldn't help staring at him, though. He was just an interesting demon; and she was still so amazed that he hadn't killed her yet. She laid down on her side with a yawn, her eyes still on him. "And why haven't you killed me yet?" She added, more confusion entering her innocent eyes. That was another odd thing about this event; he really didn't seem intent on killing her. Which, she was fine with, but it was really confusing. Everything she had been taught...were they all lies?

Zien sighed and set his plate down on the ground. The girl had too many questions and it wasn't worth trying to eat in between answering them. He scratched his cheek, wondering how best to explain to a child his complicated relationship with the humans. Or maybe it wasn't so complicated. He thought for a few more moments before answering. "Humans think all demons are a threat so they attack all of us. I've tried to avoid them all together but sometimes they catch up to me so I have to kill them to get away. Don't give me any weird looks, it's self defense." he sighed again, glancing away from her before continuing. "But to the humans, a demon is always guilty, regardless of the situation. My bounty goes up because I'm just doing what I have to for survival." He paused for a moment to take a few more bites of his food before swallowing and continuing on to answer her second question. "There's an old code that states that a favor must be returned with another equal in worth. Most demons, or humans for that matter, don't follow it anymore but I still do. In other words, you saved my life so I must give you something equal to the worth of my life before my debt can be repaid and I am a free man again." He hoped he didn't seem too bummed out about this. Although he didn't exactly like the idea of being bound to this human child, he was still grateful for her saving his life.

Bo stared at him for the longest time before her eyes filled with some sadness. Oh, she never knew that side of the story. She was only told the hunter's side, and the stories were always the same "I spotted a demon up to no good and I attacked before it could bring chaos to our society." It never changed, but she never knew that the hunters attacked for no reason. It was odd, maybe everything she was taught really was a lie. She sighed a little. "Oh. I'm sorry that happened to you Zien." She said genuinely. She blinked at the second part of his answer and arched an eyebrow; repay a debt? So...what? He was like her slave or something? That was weird. Despite him trying to hide it, she heard the disappointment in his voice. She guessed that was expected; who'd be psyked about being in-debted to someone, especially a six year old. She looked over at him. "Well...you don't have to return the favor. I did it because I didn't want you to die, not because I wanted you bound to me. Besides, you said no one hardly even follws that code anymore, so you can leave, I won't mind. Really. I won't tell anyone you were here, though." She said softly and yawned. Feeling a raindrop fall on her nose, she looked up at the sky as it started drizzling. But she could see it already; this was going to be one heck of a storm. The wind had already began to pick up. Quickly, she sat up and put the hood over her head and stood up. "I hafta go. Bye Zien." She said and ran. That would probably be the last time she even saw that demon, that nice demon. Before she even made it to the river the wind had picked up and it was pouring violently. The wind was roaring, so you could hardly hear anything. She coughed a little, shaking since it was so cold as she squinted her eyes to try to see. "Human..." A voice muttered, but since the noise was deafening, Bo didn't hear. Out from the bushes came out an oddly formed demon; he was probably 7 feet tall and he had four arms. His tail swished from side to side anxiously. His crimson flashed with hunger and he showed his fangs. "Yummy." He said and popped in front of Bo, blocking her way back to the town. Bo's eyes widened as she saw the hunger in his eyes. She screamed and ran off deeper into the forest and the demon smirked and easily kept up with her. He smirked and used his tail to trip her and she fell roughly to the floor, a small cut on the side of her neck bleeding. The demons senses were overloaded with the delicious and intoxicating scent of her blood. His fangs grew in size and his claws grew long. "Mine!" He yelled and lunged for her. She screamed and covered her face, squezzing her eyes shut., trembling violently. Her scream was swallowed by the roar of the wind.

Zien watched her go with an almost sad ex pression on his face. Maybe it was her youth that made her so open-minded, but he had never met a human so understanding. For a human, she was actually likable. He frowned as she though over what she had said. Even if she said she didn't want him to return the favor, the code was a part of who he was. Even if he was shunned by humans for being a demon and shunned by demons for being different, he wouldn't give up what he believed in. He stared down at the plate. There were only a few scraps left and he watched how the water began pooling on its surface. He would need to find shelter soon. He didn't want to risk aggravating his wound or getting the supplies she had given him to get wet. Still, Zien couldn't shake the worry that kept nagging him. Maybe he should follow her for a bit to make sure she got home safely. No hunter would be out during this kind of weather, which was visibly worsening by the second, especially since he was 'dead'. By the time he had tucked the medicine, plate, and his old headband (he much preferred the one Bo had given him) into a dry hollow in the tree, the storm had become terrible. He wondered if he'd even be able to find her in this weather. Still, he had to try. He followed the path that would be the easiest to follow if one were to return to the village, keeping his eyes, ears, and nose strained for any sign of Bo. After a while of searching with no results except getting lost himself, Zien was about ready to give up. Then suddenly he heard and smelt it. The small scream or a human child, almost deafened by the weather, and the overpowering stink of demon that no mere rain could erase. "Bo!" he shouted, dashing in the direction he knew Bo was in. Within seconds he saw it, a large, gruesome demon standing over Bo. Zien lunged just as he heard the demon shout. Zien did a flip in mid-air over the demon, slashing at it's face before landing in front of Bo, slashing one of the demons arms off in the process, and using his own body to protect her from further attack. He didn't dare look at her, not wanting to see if she was dead or not. He'd fight like she was alive and see the results later. Still crouching in front of Bo, he looked back over his shoulder at the demon. There was a monstrous glimmer in his crimson eyes and he snarled at the demon, fangs barred. "She's mine!" he growled at it.

The demon only had enough time to slash her shoulder with his claws before Zien had came out of nowhere with his flip. Zein's claws had slashed into his eyes and his arm was cut off; he screamed out in pain. He covered his bleeding eyes with the arms he had left and looked in Zien's direction. "You filthy...get out of my way! I was here first and dammit I'm hungry. The girl is mine." He snarled back. He lashed out at Zein, trying to get to Bo, but since he was blind and stupid by hunger, her only managed to hit Zein a few times, but mostly he got trees. He growled as he continued walking, further and further away from the two actually, slashing at trees. "I need food!" He yelled as he disappeared into the storm. He really didn't have much of a brain when he was nearly starved. Bo was gripping her gashed shoulder, the blood sliding through her fingers and onto the ground rapidly. She had grown a little paler and she was crying; she was in so much pain. The blood from her neck hadn't really stopped all that much either. She looked up slowly at Zien, though her vision was blurred from the tears, the rain and the fact that she was losing so much blood. "Zien...run..." She mumbled quietly, it was so low it was nearly impossible to hear. Almost. She knew he was still weak from the poison in his system, so why should he die too? She had to look back down, it hurt to look up. However, feeling the ground shake she knew the demon was coming back. She could hear him shouting at nothing again. The demon popped back in front of Zien, fangs barred. "No. She's mine. Back off!" He snarled and lunged at him, still not able to see, but he used his sense of smell; the scent of demon was something that could never be erased, even by the terrible weather.

Zein cringed as the demon slashed his back several times but refused move an inch. Its claws tore into his flesh he jerked his head up, snarling in pain. The blood slicked up his back, falling in steady flows onto the round and being washed away by the rain. Just as he was about to scream, the demon began moving away from them and he let out a sigh of relief. For most of his life his fighting style had been evasive, getting hit a little as possible and giving up hits if they posed too great of threat. He'd almost forgotten what direct pain felt like. He returned his gaze back to Bo, the look they had when facing the demon had vanished and was replaced by one of worry. She was loosing a lot of blood, and for a human child, it was a terrifying amount. He had to find a way to stop the flow. Unfortunately, he didn't have much time to think. He demon reappeared in front of him looking madder than ever. As the demon lunged, Zien grabbed Bo with his left arm and jumped away just in time to avoid the attack. The murderous look was back on his face as he gently placed Bo on the ground and stared down the demon. He would have to fight this thing but he didn't have the time or the energy for an evasive strategy. He'd have to face this thing head on. Not allowing the demon time to focus an attack, Zien lunged at it, dodging it's arms to slash directly at it's chest and stomach with both hands.

Once Bo was placed on the ground she leaned back against a tree, closing her eyes. She was getting sleepy. She opened them again, or atleast tried to and watched Zien, her own eyes growing worried. "Zein." She mumbled worriedly, but she couldn't do much in her condition. Her eyes fell closed again, forcing them open was too painful and her breathing had slowed a little. The demon glanced over at Bo and smirked. "Ha ha ha. She's almost de--" He was cut off once he felt a pair of claws came in contact with his chest and stomach. He growled out in pain, the blood spurting out onto the ground as he gasped a little and fell to his knees. Despite the pain he stood back up, a murderous gleam in his eyes now. "I gave you the chance to walk away, but you leave me no choice." He snarled, his once cut off arm growing back, his chest and stomach repaired as his body started turning into a dark purple color. His body grew bulky and he grew moth wings, his mouth widening to hold more razor sharp teeth, his tail gaining poisoness spikes at the end of them. His once crimson eyes turned pitch black and he snarled darkly; magic. He sniffed the air and then looked down at Zien in anger. "Flee now and I'll spare your life." He growled, grabbing him by his shirt and flinging him into a tree like he was nothing more then a mosquito and growled a little. He was still pretty weak, and he still had the scars of the wounds Zien had given him.

"Oh joy," Zein said sarcastically, "Big, Dumb, and Ugly just got bigger and uglier, you're not going to get dumber on me are--" He was cut off as the demon grabbed him, flinging him against a tree. He let out a cry of shock and pain as his back made contact with the bark. He slid to the ground and staggered forward, managing to stay on his feet. Breathing heavily, he looked up at the demon, one eye squeezed shut as he tried to ignore the pain. He wouldn't run from this thing. His pride as a demon was on the line, but more importantly, he had to protect Bo. He wouldn't allow her to die until he repaid his debt to her. He snarled at the demon and his fingers twitched slightly, his claws eager to sink into the demons flesh. This demon was strong, but so was Zein, and he had the advantage of sight. "You know, I had really been hoping to save this for later, but in case you didn't notice, I'm on a tight sceduel." he said, brushing a bit of wet hear from his face. His smug ex pression wouldn't be seen by the demon but it gave him a bit more confidence. "I find it odd," Zien stated, "that you have no idea what I look like, but you're still attacking me. I might be a very powerful demon and you might not realize because, you may have a deion of my face, but you wouldn't know what I sound or smell like." As he spoke, the space around his fist had begun to shimmer, attempting to take form. The rain snapped and popped as black fire surrounded his fist. The rain did nothing to tame it, it just burned wildly around his fist. This fire was special. Even a single touch could incinerate a town in seconds and it could only be tamed by its master. This demon would be burned to a crisp in no time. "Now die!" Zien howled, lunging at the demon once more. He was much faster this time since he didn't want to give the demon even a second to react. He jumped, drawing his fist back to punch him right in the face.

The demon stared at Zien for the longest time, arching an eyebrow at the fire. He knew what it was and he knew the damage it caused, but still. He wondered if his body would be as affected by the flames seeing as it was in over-time right now. He had never really tried it out, actually. "You're pretty smug for someone who--" He was cut off once Zien's fist collided with his face. He screamed out in agony, his face melting before turning into ash, it wasn't a pretty sight. He covered his face with his hands as he screamed out. On the edge of death he looked over at Zien and lifted his tail. "Die..." And then he shot out about six poisoness spikes; three aiming at him and the other three headed for Bo. He sagged to his knees and with his last breath he laughed before he collapsed; dead. As the spikes headed for Bo, she opened her eyes a little and saw them. Her eyes widened a little and quickly and painfully ducked and they slid into the tree, just above her head. She glanced up at Zien and forced herself up to her feet, just enough to walk over to him before she collapsed and fell on her bottom. She looked up at him, her eyes cloudy, like she was about to just p*censored* out. "You okay?" She asked, staring at him again. Whether it made him paranoid or not she didn't care at the moment, well, she never actually cared. She smiled weakly. "You're strong...and...pretty cool." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes. Being so sleepy, she knew, wasn't a good thing. She was trying to keep herself awake but it was a lot harder then she thought. She continued to stare at him, rubbing one of her eyes.

(( Lol, sorry. Trying to type on five different RPs at once and avoid my mom T_T )) Zien watched the demon die. He'd seen this attack work several times now and was no longer surprised at the results. He was breathing heavily now, the blood running down his back and legs made him shudder. He couldn't die from simple blood loss, but it did make him weaker. Not enough to fall for a last ditch attempt, though. He jerked his head to the side and the spikes whizzed past his face, embedding themselves in the ground behind him. He spun around to face Bo, expecting to see the worst. His face lit up when he saw she hadn't been hit. He crouched beside he when she fell and wrapped his arm around her to keep her steady. "I'm fine," he said softly, giving her a worried look. "Just try to stay awake." He ducked his head down and licked at her wounds like a dog would. His saliva was just as good at healing as white magic. The problem would be if he was too late. He couldn't restore her blood to her so even if the wounds healed she might die from blood loss. "You're going to be ok," he said softly, cradling her in his arms as he tried to imitate a form of comfort that humans did.

@Maybell - Ha. Nu nu, it's fine. But pop up again and I will throw a cookie at chu! O3O Though, since you said you liked the plot (Has no idea why) we could do one too, if you'd like. @Zombieloki - Nah, it's fine. I only bumped it because it was on the 3rd page. & Aw, that post was cute. ^-^ Bo was confused when the demon licked her wounds. She was about to ask what the heck he was doing, but seeing the wounds sealing she was silent. Well, that was different. She snuggled in his arms as she forced her eyes open, it was just he was so comforting. Now she didn't understand why they tried to kill him anyway. Was there even a reason or was it that they just saw his eyes and that sealed the deal? She glanced up at him and felt the blood that ran his back and, though she knew it wasn't enough to kill him, she didn't like the thought of him losing his blood. Shifting slightly, she crawled over to a bush and pulled off the herb and smashed it into a liquid form with a rock. She got some of the gauze she had given him and rubbed the herb on it and then forced herself to stand and walk back over to him. Whether he detested or not she pulled off his shirt and wrapped his wounds in the medicine filled gauze and then sat back down in his arms with a slight yawn. "It'll help the blood flow stop quicker then it usually would, ya know, until you're able to heal yourself properly." She said softly, just wanting to fall asleep, but she knew better. She was a demon huntress in training anyway. She leaned her head against his chest, keeping her eyes open, she merely enjoyed the cradling.

(( Really? Cuz after I reread it, I thought it was a bit on the weird side XD )) Zien tried to protest when she moved to get out of his arms and protested a little louder when she pulled off his shirt. She really shouldn't be trying to move around and she certainly shouldn't be treating his wounds. It wasn't necessary and she was in far worse condition than him. "Honestly," he sighed, once she had crawled back into his arms. "you should be more worried about yourself than about me." She was right about the healing thing though. He wasn't a cat so he couldn't lick at the wounds on his back, so he would have been forced to wait out the bleeding. He moved a few feet so he was more sheltered by a tree from the rain and rested back against its trunk. It took his a few minutes to find a comfortable angle that didn't press against he new wounds. When he'd figured out his position and settled down, he stared down at her intently. She looked very tired, but at least she was fighting it. He really wasn't sure if she should stay awake or not, but up until this point, she'd showed that she knew what she was doing. "Next time, don't be so quick to run off. It's dangerous in these parts," he said, closing his eyes. He wasn't really tired, but he didn't like people looking at them. He was self-conscious about them since they were the only thing about him that was truly demon-like besides his fangs.

OhOhSea:: Oh no, it was definately weird. And when I first started reading I was like 'Uh...I know she saved his life an' everything but she's still only six...' XD But then I kept reading and I was like oh. It was just a cute kinda weird. -Nods- Bo listened to his words and she almost, almost fell asleep. She slumped against him, her eyes closed before she opened them again with a whine and un-slumped herself. She sighed ever so slightly. "Sorry. I didn't know it would rain like that so quickly. Or that a demon would pop outta nowhere. I just wanted to get back to the town before they started looking for me and they'd come in here and find you and...meh. I just didn't want you to die okay? 'Sides, it would've been a bother if I was around you; a kid isn't something someone wants to deal with." She mumbled softly. Yawning again, she could hardly fight this sleepy-ness anymore and she slumped against his chest, her eyes closing. "I know you're a demon...but I don't care. I love you anyways." She mumbled as she fell asleep. Yea, she did love him, even though they just met. He was like...like an older brother or something. Or a father more likely.

(( My thoughts exactly XD I couldn't think of anything better to heal her with since he doesn't have the first clue about medicine of white magic. :P )) Zien let out an exhausted sigh. Watching over Bo was certainly a handful but he wouldn't describe her as a bother. Even if she did rush into things, she was smart and had helped him more than once. Although even if she hadn't he would have still helped her. It was a terrible idea for someone like her, who wasn't so quick to judge demons, to be killed off by one. He didn't want that to happen. One of his eyes opened when and looked down at her when she said she loved him. He thought he had misheard her but knew it wasn't the case. His hearing was too good to simply mishear something. He frowned. If she held strong feelings for him, or even the slightest feelings, her future ahead would be difficult. In the human world, there was no sympathy for people who sided with demons. He didn't want her to pic between her kin and him. He sighed again. "How about you rest a little," he offered. "I'll be right here when you wake up."

OhOhSea:: Lol. It's fine, really. Just funny. XD Bo was about to answer him, but her sleepyness took over and she was out like a light. In her mind though, she knew that people wouldn't understand. It had happened once before with her, she had gotten attached to a demon...but he wasn't nice like Zien. And well...the end results were pretty bad and the town had given her another chance to stay away and hunt the demons, but she couldn't do that either. It wasn't something she enjoyed doing. When the first ray of sunlight hit her face, it felt as if someone had slapped her and yelled in her ear. No one did, of course, but that's what it felt like. Opening her eyes, she sat up with a yawn, still half-asleep, so she didn't remember anything or anyone. Or even where she was for that matter. Shaking her head, she stayed sitting and glanced around. Seeing trees and soggy mud startled her a little, but then she remembered what happened last night. She glanced down at her shoulder which of course was healed, trying to remember how it got healed. She was silent for the longest time before she finally remembered; that demon. Zien. Still somewhat asleep, she couldn't see much. She stood up, which was a lot easier to do then it was last night. Did he leave?
