- nodding in acceptance I see the blank stare and a ping of regret slashes through me- 'No. I will not be soft, I am the Alpha, I hold this pack down... I need to brave up' flattening my ears in a silent battle with myself. Quickly clearing my head I walked past Star then stopped- You'll be sleeping in the den.. Storm, If you need relieved just come and get me.. - turning as star walked past to the den I followed feeling that ping again but ignoring it as I laid outside of the den-

/suddenly gains her abilities back and hops out of the river what..happened to me? well i must go back to the pack but first... -wanders around more and sees a young wolf sleeping, about her age and lays by nuzzling into then the wolf wakes up shyly and embarassed- -the wolf then speaks-Hello? who are you and why are you here, well anyway my name is Luminati, im a girl wolf and..i have no place so i stay here -i then bow ans start to talk- My name is Ani i was sick weak and wandered off from my pack accidentally and then fell into the river and ended up here, hey i haave an idea, would you like to come back to my pack with me? but one condition, we have to go at night so they dont know i went missing for awhile or they will have a search party -Luminati agrees and they both start off for the pack-

As I lay, gaining back my strength, I could do anything but sleep. There was so much on my mind, how could I close my eyes? I needed to repay this pack for what they had done for me. I would be dead were it not for them, perhaps they would let me stay with them, at least until I payed them back somehow. I was no good as a hunter but I had other skills to offer as a strategist and a tracker. As the thoughts raced through my head, I hardly noticed myself getting tired, and I was soon fast asleep.

Waking up stumbling my feet I looked outside. The sun was now starting to rise. I was groggy for some strange reason. I stumbled to the food stockpile and only ate a rabbit leg then I laid back down and went to sleep.

-as morning approched i got up off the rock and made my way torwards the den where Star, Dom, Dai, Yuushuu and Roe were sleeping and noticed that I was the only one up, so I went back outside hoping for someone to wake up soon so I could go running off into the forest, I felt like I could run for a thousand miles non stop and I didn't know why. after silently aruing with myself I hear a strange noise and ran just outside of camp to see Ani hiding behind a big rock I ran torwards her growling fearcly- Ani! what on earth do you think your doing!? -then I noticed a strange wolf next to her and jumped in front of Ani still snarling- Who are you and what are you doing here!?

With my eyes still closed I yawned. Getting up I stretched with my but high up in the air and then stood up. Finally opening my eyes, I see Storm run off quickly. Groggily I skipped outside of the den to peer and see what was going on. Ani was back and with a strange wolf. Storm, was doing the usual asking the strange wolf why they were here. I shook my head like I was getting water out of my fur to wake myself up a bit more before I stepped outside. I jumped on top of the rock where Storm and Alpha usually keep watch. I sit down and cross my paws and rest my head on them. I watched the commotion from there.

The noise of Dai getting up woke me. Pulling myself off the ground, I stretched out and yawned. I felt great today. My strength was all back, now I could finally show this pack that I wasn't useless and weak. Then it registered that Dai had just left the cave. Curious, I followed her slowly and silently to see where she was going. As she sat down on a rock, I walked over beside it. "I guess I'm not the only stranger here," I said to her, "do you find other wolves around here often?"

A little spooked by the sudden appearance of Yuushuu, I jumped and my fur stuck up on my neck a little. Then I calmed down. "Usually, no but lately we have been finding lots of wolves." I stood up and closed my eyes as the wind blew. "Something tells me that things are about to change and it might not be for the better. It can't be coincidence that you guys are stumbling across here. It may be a reason much greater than we might think" I turned and smiled at Yuushuu.

The things Daisuki said made me think. I never liked change, it always brought new and terrifying things with it. For me, it was always hard to see the good and not the bad. I always feared the things I didn't know much about, and I sure didn't know anything about what was to come. I guess in short it meant I feared the future. "Yeah..." I said, trying not to think too hard on it. The breeze felt nice as it blew across my fur.

Something about Yuushuu's ex
pression told me that she didn't think it was a good thing. I sat down and thought for a moment. "Well, let's just focus on the now shall we? Let's just watch over Storm and Ani and make sure this stranger wolf is not going to kill us in the near future. I mean from looking at it it seems rather okay but you never know."I say trying to change the subject.

/she demands the other wolf get behind her right away Lumunati behind me now the pack isnt used to new wolfs coming but recently there have been but.. just get behind me now before you get hurt please -she gives luminati a nuzzle and jumps in front-
Stormy look..i was really hurt and wandered off myself but i shouldnt have and i found her just laying there and she seemed comforting and she just took care of me and she is my age and well i have a new friend i made on my own..just let her stay she doesnt have a family, she was like me when i was young and i was found just please give her a chance her name is Luminati and i... -stops and cries and runs to luminati and nuzzles into- -luminati nuzzles and comforts the upset wolf-
