"Sorry, I knew the risk but if we went all the way up the rocks we would've surely died. We're going to stay in this cave for a while and talk." I say trying to stand up. I winced. I used to much energy. I felt some of my wounds open again. I slumped back to the floor. "Yep, we're definitely staying here. I have no energy." I say.
I looked over Akui still in my true wolf form scanning her. No wounds, good.
"So, why do you want to kill the pack?" I ask. |

"K-kill the pack?" Akui said, looking away nervously.
"Don't pretend, Akui, you said it yourself!" I yelled. "Enough with the innocent act, just admit it."

I chuckled and rolled over.
"Come on now. No need to lie. I told you I would not hurt you. Don't waste my time, no to rude though. If we get caught I will be considered a traitor and it will take a while for me to regain trust. So spit it out or I maul you in the future." I say sternly. |

"Fine." Akui said, smirking at Dai's threat as though it were a joke. "I wasn't going to kill you for sure. I wanted to see what it was like in Yuushuu's place first. If I liked it, why kill you? I could just live the life I always wanted."
"What?! Why would you do that?" I growled.
"Don't judge me, Yuushuu, you know nothing of what it's like to be inside of someone's head for a lifetime." Akui stated.

"I don't remember, I haven't got a past." Akui answered. "Just one day... I was there. Watching someone else's life, Yuushuu's life. I grew to hate how she could be loved, and wanted only to find a way to become her. I realized rather quickly however that Yuushuu could hear me and that's how I gained control one day, but she found a way to access the power of her true wolf, leaving her with no memories of me or her actions in that state."
I was surprised at Akui's answer. I didn't know what to say as I tried desperately to remember the memories she spoke of.

- Charging angrily forward I saw Storm and came to a slow trot my eyes glowing- Yuushuu went dark and now she's been taken over by her darkness. She took off. I went into Dai's memories and witnessed Yuushuu and her fighting. I was looking for you until I heard the commotion. - hearing Storm's regret for leaving the pack I take a needed breath and nudge her softly- Don't blame yourself you were following order and instincts. This was going to happen regardless... - Looking out to the woods I smiled- Guess who's returned to us? - looking to me she questions curiously- Call. She has returned to us. - I say with joy. Looking to the woods once more I tap into Daisuki's mind,- Don't spend too long a time with her... It's getting dark, I don't trust her form yet, and we'll need you back here... Are you ok? How bad is the gash on your head? - twitching my ears to listen around us I sigh heavily.-

-I looked at Dom gratefully then turned back to the woods closing my eyes trying to listen but then I heard Star and Ani right behind me, then I sighed- Do you need help here or shall I take these two back to make a small camp for the night?

"Hmm, strange. Well you two have to learn to co-exist." I say. I stayed silent for a moment and thought for a bit. Suddenly I heard Dom's voice echo in my head. 'I'll try to get us home soon. I'll explain everything when I get home but please be nice to her. I should be okay. I have no energy so I'm sorry might be back after dark. My head it hurts and some of my wounds open back up but I should be just fine.' I say entering Alpha's mind trying to sound calm. I really wasn't ok. I was bleeding out.

- Smelling the metal of the blood she was losing I dropped in a defensive stance Storm stopping and watching me suddenly- Get home now. You can handle Yuushuu and the rogue here. Don't be foolish I know better Daisuki. You will come back now and be tended by Storm -I demand gently.- Yes Storm... take them back. I'm going to wait here. - state sitting down my eyes cast on the path where the two would be returning-

-Sighing I stood up. Blood dripped from my fur. ' Alpha I don't think I can make it. There's so much blood,' I started hyperventilating. ' it's a mess. I'm scared. I'll try though.' I looked at Akui/ Yuushuu.
"We have to leave now but I'm not sure if I can make it." I say. |

-I nodded then lead Star and Ani to a nice place to stay for the night. Then I watched them lay down next to a tree then I closed my eyes again hoping to find where Dai was then going into her point of view I saw just a haze of blood- oh no......-I got up almost ready to charge to Dom but caught myself- I need to stay and protect the pack...I can't let this happen twice-I sat there waiting for Dom to return with Dai and Yuushuu-

" Akui, pick her up and bring her to the pack!" I said in a panic, seeing what shape Dai was in.
"Stop ordering me around." Akui grumbled, shifting her snout under Daisuki and picking her up onto her back. She carefully made her way down the slippery rocks and into the water again. She pulled Dai across the rippling waves in the pool and pushed her to the edge as she climbed out. Taking no time to dry off, she picked Daisuki up again and ran for the pack.

- my ears perking straight up in worry my back legs jam into the earth kicking off and sending me flying forward as i rushed to Dai. Catching the scent of blood I veered to the right my claws catching and flinging dirt up into the air as my momentum picked up. Raising my nose to sniff the air I slowed to a trot when I finally found them. Seeing Blood covering Dai's head, neck and side and smeared all over Yuushuu's coat I quickly had her place Dai on my back. Looking back and Dai I nuzzled her nose- Hang onto me Dai It's gonna be a rough ride i'll try to be as gentle as I can. - Turning to look at Yuushuu I smelled the darkness- Keep up with us Yuushuu. If you should fall behind just meet back at the resting place, If you get lost just Howl and wait for me. I'll return for you. - Turning around I took off starting at a trot then slowly ascending into a full on sprint through the trees and bushes, down the slopes and over ravines. Slowing down a bit as some massive rocks came into view I transcended to my true wolf form using the strength to pull her and I up the rock sides, trying to keep her in as little pain as I could manage. But still small whimpers broke from her chest as we hit bumps and small areas I was forced to pounce or jump across or over.- Keep up Yuushuu. - I called back waiting for a response-

I laid down with Storm, Ani, and Roe by a tree and almost instantly fell asleep with Roe in my paws.

-I saw Dom in the distance then heard his call and walked over to where Star and Ani were- Stay here and protect eachother -then I turned and ran full speed over to Dom, I got to his side and started looking over Dai- these are quite seirous injuries its gonna take a while to heal these, would you like me to wait here for Yuushuu or would you like me to take Dai back to shelter?

Take Dai, I need to go search for Yuushuu... until her dark side learns to co-exist I would rather the pack be cautious - Gently moving Dai to Storm's back I take off back into the woods to find Yuushuu.-

Call slowed and watched the other from a distance. She looked on as Dom had carried Dai back to the others. The female Yuushuu following behind them. Call picked up the rear now, watching Yuushuu very carefully. She did not understand how Dai could risk everything,already so weak to chase after the two faces wolf. Call chugged on behind Dom and Yuushuu, following the trail of blood that dripped from Dai's pelt. She felt worried for her friends. Then she watched as Dom turned again and darted in the direction of the two faces wolf. What was he doing? She slowed.

-After Dom gently slid Dai onto my back a trotted cautiously, back over to Star, Ani and Roe, then carefully setting her down, I grabbed herbs and started to take care of her wounds. After I was done with that I sat down watching for Dom but was spooked when Roe crawled up onto my feet and fell asleep, I laid down wrapping my tail around her still alert waiting for Dom-

As Dom returned for me, Akui grunted, leaving me in control. "What...?" I asked, surprised at this.
"I can't deal with this, I'm waiting until the dust settles." she answered. "Don't think this will happen all the time, though."
"Um, alright." I said, a little confused but grateful. I ran up to meet Dom as he got closer. "I'm alright, I just got caught up and I'm a little tired." I told him.
