-I sighed then looked at the two small dock leaves- "We need just like two 'large' dock leaves, yarrow, bell root, ginger, but only if you can find it, maybe a little bit of cobweb, juniper berries, water roo berries, and mint leaves, remember try to keep all this to a minimum becasue were traveling do you know where to find all of this?"

"Dock leaves grow at the roots on Oak or Pine trees, but they are very easy to find, you can find them almost anywhere, Yarrow grows like Dock but its 'only' found at the roots of trees, Bell root is a harder one to find, its usually found near water and in the shade, Ginger has no specific place to find it but its found underground in sunnier places, Cobweb is found everywhere, its hard to miss, Juniper berries are usually found in shade and near water like Bell root, WaterRoo berries are very rare and hard to find, there found in clean, clear streams, and Mint is found in the shade usually near human places, we don't need those very much though, so you can skip that if you want, I don't want you going near any human places"

((Dock Leaves- roots on oak or pine. Anywhere Yarrow- found at roots of tress Bell root- near water in shade(can also find Bell root here.) Ginger- found underground in sunny areas Cobweb-everywhere. WateRoo berries- rare and hard to find. Found in clean, clear streams. Mint- near human places(optional) here for my reference ))
"Okay, I'll try to get them all. Ill be back soon." -I smiled as I left to get the herbs.-
-I looked for Dock leaves first. I found them rather quickly. I help the two large leaves in my tail. I trotted along trying to find a decent enough oak tree and looked at the roots.. A few minutes I found yarrow. I held it in my mouth. The sun was rising quickly which would help me find ginger. I ran around the forest looking for a clear area. After a while I found a field. I saw some rabbits leaping around. I pressed my paws against the earth and felt for vibrations. There was a ginger root near a rabbit hole. Quickly I trotted to it. Just for fun I peered into the den from a distance and saw a rabbit and newborn bunnies. I couldn't help but chuckle. I tried to be quiet as I found the place near the den. Slowly I dug down. It was taking longer than I wanted to because I had to go slow. Finally I found the root and pulled it out with my mouth. It was pretty big. I was just about to leave when an angry male rabbit bit my paw. I batted at the rabbits head but gently. I ran off and made my way back to the pack. I rested all the herbs down and waited for Stormy to notice.-

-I turned around and saw Dai back already with some of the herbs- "wow your a fast worker, good job" -I praised about to go back and look at the herbs but then I noticed her paw was a bit swollen, I bent down to sniff it but she backed up a bit- "What happened to your paw? it smells weird and its getting swollen, did something bite you?" -I asked starting to organize the herbs that she brought back-

"Ugh, a dominant male Bunny bit my paw. He thought I might've hurt his wife and kids. When I get the herbs near water I'll wash it out there." -I say looking at my paw.-

-I nodded then spoke- "good idea, but..." -I turned and chewed a small piece of yarrow then rubbed it on Dai's paw- "this will help heal it until you wash it out, I don't want it to get infected" -I said going back to organizing the herbs-

"Alright." -I bored to Storm to say thank you then trotted back into the forest. I tried to listen for where water was. Then I remembered the waterfall I found. I ran through the forest quickly tying to find my way there. My eyes closed shut and I ran into a sticky cobweb. I wiped it off my face. I can't take the cobweb at the moment because I had to go into the water. I would come back later. Shortly after I made my ways to the waterfall. I dived in the water and swam a bit as I activated my true wolf and dove deep into the water I looked on the bottom of the stream. I searched for five minutes and came back up. I took a few deep breaths and went back under. I kept searching and searching but to now avail. I got bored and caught a salmon in the meantime. I cam up for air. I swung the salmon onto land. Taking a few more deep breaths I went under and finally a nice bunch of WaterRoo berries. I bit down and caught them in my mouth but when I looked up I saw a bear looking at me with it's beady black eyes. I got shocked and breathed in water. I quickly went back to the surface and swam away. I coughed up water and the bear was right behind me. It took a swipe at me and sent me flying into a tree. I bounced off the tree and hit the ground. The bear took the salmon I caught and crushed the WaterRoo berries that took me forever to find. My side was bruised I knew that for sure. I went back into the water and help my breath for 10 minutes and found a much smaller bunch of WaterRoo berries. I sighed to myself. I looked to the sky. "I'm sorry, Storm. I'm doing the best I can and trying not to get hurt at the same time. I'm tired of being a liability and not an asset." I say to no one. I would've spoke telepathically but I kept it to myself. Holding the bunch of berries in my tail I moved to a shaded area. I found the bell root and juniper berries just a few places apart from each other. I held the juniper bierries in my tail along with the WaterRoo and held the bell root in my mouth. I ran back to where the cobwebs were and shook my fur so it would be dry enough. I brushed my back against the cobwebs and they laid there perfectly. Running back to the pack in pain I laid everything down in a pile and made sure Storm didn't notice my presence and ran off looking for mint leaves.-

-I turned around and saw some more herbs behind me then I got up and started looking around, but I couldn't find Dai, so I went back to the pile of herbs and started looking through it but then it hit me- "The mint.....Shes going to go get the mint!" -I gasp then I put all the herbs in a kinda neat pile, walked over to Yuushuu and spoke in her ear- "I need you to watch the pack, I'm going out to get something, if you need any help don't be afraid to ask Star" -I said already starting to run off to find Dai, but then I stopped- "Whats the nearest human place...." -I said to myself, closing my eyes and searching for miles until I found it, it was pretty close as well- "No Dai, don't do it" -I said to myself, I got up and started running again, trying to follow her scent, but the wind had already half blown it away. I ran, and ran but still no trace of her, but I came across the human's place, 'it must be there den' I thought to myself but quietly kept going until I could find Dai's trail again-

-I had found the human place and saw Stormy staring at their den. I ran off somewhere else and peed on a tree hoping she would catch my scent and go the wrong way. I then hurried back to the human place and saw mint leaves in the open behind the human den. I waited for Storm to fall into my trap before going.-

-I walked forward a bit, but then smelled Dai's scent, it was strongest over by one of the trees but her scent was also in two other places, so I bent down and tried to go into her point of view but only saw green and a un-natural rock- "Daisuki....." -I quietly growled, I knew she was over near the human den but I just had to figure out where, 'I wish this wind would calm down, then maybe i could find her, she's going to get us into so much trouble' I thought to myself then closed my eyes and went into her mind- "Daisuki, I told you this is too dangerous, come on we need to go" -After I finished speaking I heard a loud bang, it must have been the humans, so I went back into her mind- "Daisuki, lets go, now" -I backed up a bit still crouching low to the ground and waited for her to follow-

-I barely missed the bullet as it grazed across my shoulder. I couldn't run. I bit the black metal rod part of the human was using and tossed it out of his hands.-
"Dang it, you little rascal. C'mere." The human shouted.
-he grabbed me by the scruff and grabbed my neck. He shoved me to the ground and held me down. He grabbed a sharp metal ob
ject from out some of carrier thing. I bent my head down in an awkward position and bit the humans hand. He released me and cried out in pain. I got up and ran grabbed the mint leaves. As I was turning to leave and find storm he cut me with the sharp metal oblject on my bruised side. I drop the mint leaves and yelped in pain.
Becoming angry I felt my true wolf activate. I felt anger swirling in my chest and I raised my head up I felt my eyes roll back deep inside my skull and watched as my eyes turned blood red I tried to fight my anger because I knew I would loose control. I started glitching out. One eye was a white orb the other a red orb. The human was taken back and had his hands over his mouth.
'Sweet baby jesus! This wolf i-i-it's possessed. DEMON." the human screamed as he ran back into his den.
I couldn't fight it I lost control. My teeth grew large and my fur spiked. I was only like this for two seconds before my body shut down.-

( Ok since Call is gone lets lengthen the days and nights possibly not too many of them, I am going to reply and since Call hates god modding then she can just catch up but I don't want to do it with her I know better lol. Anyways so Lengthen the days and nights, not too many if possible. Good? Good)
Having a feeling Call wanted to stay behind awhile I nodded and grabbed the Doe, her full weight making it a bit of a task as the brambles and sticker bushes grabbed onto her legs and head. Taking a short break near a tiny stream I set the Doe down and sniffed the air for any other visitors. When the air answered with gentle smells of Blue Spruce and grass I lowered my nose to the water taking in a few laps before bringing my head back up and shaking to rid of the excess water. Stopping mid shake I felt the ache in my head deepen down behind my eye and into my jaw. Pawing aggressively at the pain and hitting the gashes by accident I jumped up and snarled my fur bristled my jaws snapping madly. Lost in my moment I suddenly felt a twinge of pain in my ribs, stopping my rant I listened to the wind for a few seconds before it carried a blanket of Urgency over me and laid it down. My legs began to shake as the feeling progressed and as I was turning to grab the deer I heard a loud BANG!, my eyes wide I looked to the deer. Do I take it, Do I leave it? Snarling at the Doe I whipped my head to the left and lunged forward breaking into my maximum gate. ' Faster' my mind echoed to me, Pushing harder my paws driving in the dirt as my muscle flexed then relaxed as I charged forward, my stride lengthening as I merged with my True Wolf. Feeling the tingle rush through my body I let out a roar to the skies. I had complete power in this moment. Rearing forward I weaved between trees and brush, large rocks harbored my shadow as I soared over them. My hearing sharpened every bird, deer and stream within miles were as clear as bells. My fangs elongating yet still able to be hidden behind calm lips. The roars that left my chest shook the nearby leaves, flocks of birds fleeing in fear. Reaching the temporary den I looked around. Seeing Yuushuu, Star, Ani and Roe I sniffed the air for Storm and Dai. Growling I rushed forward my nearby surroundings blurring past my peripheral, my speed amping up with every drive of my legs and every beat of my heart. ' Stormy! Daisuki! Where are you!?' I called out mentally but all that answered were a few cries, growling and a human voice. 'No' Ramping into an even faster speed my lungs expanded and deflated quicker than every before as my body transitioned into it's new form.

Call sat alone in the woods looking at the two does at her feet. She was still deliberating on how would be best to carry both kills, it would be awkward, but she would have to manage. Slowly Call lowered her form and painstakingly drug the first carcass onto her back. She smiled to herself in her accomplishment,and grasped the other does neck between her jaws. Her true wolf still flared from the hunt and she trotted on back to camp. She must have been a sight! One doe lolling limp on her back,head flopping with each step smacking against her haunches..while the other was drug less than ladylike across the earth by the neck. Call was utterly surprised that the weight hadnt yet pulled the head from the body... call slunk back into camp, managing to hold both deer with some dignity. She loosened her grip and slip the other off her back at the entrance, licking her chops. Her jaw slightly numb at this point from holding the animal so awkwardly. Call had expected to meet Dom back here,as well as the rest of the pack..but it was only Yuushuu and Star left to guard the young. What had possibly happened now?! call thought angrily to herself.

I ran over to Dai and licked her "Don't worry I'm gonna get you home safely" I said turning to see a big, black, metal pipe almost touching my face, then I heard the human behind it start talking
"There! thats one of 'em demons! kill it before it kills us! there gonna destroy our familys!" then the other started talking "I'm workin' on it! your goin' make a nice pelt for my wall"
"No!" I growled lunging at the man biting his wrist, and knocking him over. then I went for his neck but the other pulled me off, turning, I jumped at him and bit his face, I saw him scrambling backwards to go back to his den 'He must be getting another one of those long pipes' I thought to myself. but then I jumped back onto the other man and snarled in his face
"If you ever try to hurt one of my pack again....you and your friends wont survive"
I went for his neck but just bit his shoulder and watched as blood poured out, he jumped up and ran away but he ran cursing and yelling
"Thats right! run away! and stay away!"
I said turning back to Dai and scooping her onto my back
"Its ok, were going back to the pack, and everything will be alright"
I charged off, careful not to drop Dai and still watching behind me, incase one of the ignorant humans decided to come after us. after a bit of running I saw Dom in the distance and started to go faster until we reached him
"We have to get the pack out of here, I have a feeling the humans are going to follow us"
I said looking at Dai, who was on my back

-My eyes widening as I saw Storm with Dai on her back, the smell of her blood filling the air I glared in the direction of the humans then turned to Storm my eyes determined and set- Let's go", heading back to the Den I howled loud enough for all ears to hear but quiet enough not to give our position away, " Pack up! We're-" Stopping when I heard something my ears perked. It was very faint but finally I caught a few of the words " Over here...Demons Den... Bring guns...Gonna kill'em all" Shaking my entire body I stood tall and protective, " Everybody take what you can carry we need to leave now" I demanded staring at each pack member with urgency. Going over to Storm I licked her cheek then nuzzled the side of Dai's face with my un-injured side, " you're going to be ok hang in there" I spoke gently. " Stormy" I growled gently backing up to look her in the eyes, " what. Happened"

Call stood at the mouth of the den, auds alert..orbs glowing and watching out into the distance. It was when she heard Dom's call that she perked up, automatically spinning on her heels towards the others in the den. Call yapped loudly trying to wake the others, her eyes blazing like the scorching sun. "Get up if you want to save your skins, somethings wrong!" Her voice was calm, but commanded response. "Hurry young ones, hurry." She prodded them all with her muzzle as she passed them doing her best to coax them awake.She wouldnt be able to save them all, but she could get them a good start if only they would stop dozing and pay attention. Stopping at little Roe scooping her up by the scruff. No way she would outrun anything let alone make the distance. Call worried for young Ani,but she couldnt carry them both, the youngling would have to be strong if she wanted to survive. "We have to move." she yelled her best through a mouthful and stood at the mouth of the den and looked back..... |
