I got up carefully after hearing the yelling. I saw Ani, run and fall. I ran over to her and carried her. I did my best to keep up with Call.

Call looked at Ani and shook her head, oh boy what were they going to do? Star padded up and Call sat Roe down for a moment. "Star iI need you to buddy with Ani, can you do that?" she looked to them both. "We have to leave and now, you have to run, no stopping. There are men that want to hurt us. whatever happened you keep running do you understand?" Her amber orbs pleaded to the young wolves, hoping the could be brave. |

I nodded my head to Call, picked Ani up by her scruff, and started trying to make it harder for the beings to follow me. Exploring was one of my favorite things to do, especially when running. I knew I could also keep Ani safe.

- When everyone was looking to me or at least paying attention I stood in front of them, Storm at my side as we began walking,- " We need to leave now. It's an emergency. Breaks need to be stopped unless it's an emergency. I need you all to be strong, The Goddess has something planned for us, I assume that's why this trip is being put into action. So we need to listen. Hopefully we will find safe grounds, but for now we don't have time to make a plan, we need to go. Stay close together and be sure to-" BANG! Jumping at the loud noise I turned and saw a man with a long black stick who was tripping and caught in the brambles coming for us. Calmly I turned to the pack my eyes filled with urgency, " I need you all to run, now! Don't stop just run" I demanded pushing a few along. " I will catch up, safe travels, I will find you all" I say before turning my head lowering as I sauntered side to side slowly watching the man as he pulled brambles from his leg. Hearing the pack make distance I stayed awhile longer.

Yuushuu did as the Alpha ordered. As everyone ran, she wondered how many times this would happen before they were safe. How long would it be before they could live happily somewhere? Would they all make it there? So many questions, and yet not one answer. Worry ate away at her once again, it seemed the future was becoming a twisted blur. So much was in store for the pack, but now it was unclear what would truly happen. Could any good come from all of this? Would the blood they'd shed be for something?

(( hey guys sorry for my absence lately, I have a lot going on right now and can't be on as much as I used to, and I'm getting over a bug x.x so yeah ^^; ))
I looked at Dom then turned and ran ahead of the Pack in silence, i counted everyone, we had Star with Ani, Call with Roe, and Yuushuu beside me "Thats all of us" I said starting to go faster, careful not to drop Dai

- Watching the human curiously but with caution and anger he cursed his god and slammed his fist to the ground before jerking his frame away from the brambles and tripping in a snake hole the pack had long ago dug out. Cursing some more beneath his breath he looked up frantic his head swiveling side to side in search of the pack. When he saw me he jumped and fumbled for his black stick his eyes searching to his implement then back to me. Trotting sideways a bit he quickly sprang up and it was then that I dropped down my head swaying as I bared my teeth in a dominant Threat at the man. " th- it's- they're... BAH! DEMONS!!!!!" the man yelled trying to grab for the stick that was now beneath his foot. '... human's are rather stupid' I thought to myself as he stumbled once again. Reaching down I quickly slipped into the brush and made for my escape. Loping up the hill under the safety of thick brush and low hanging trees I heard the man once again curse a long string of words aimed the opposite way maybe to his herd? But I was making good time and covering distance quickly. reaching the top of a nearby hill I dropped my body to the ground and looked out at the man. He was trying to climb the side of the hill and not drop his stick. And then I saw another man, And then two more. Sniffing the ir I caught the nauseating scent of the mirrored smoke and decided it was time to go. Crawling out from under the brush I pushed my muzzle through the branches and to the other side, my body dragging along silently. Getting back onto the path I took a last look back, growled to myself then whipped my head around. Feeling a sudden thick sting like pain crawl up from my eye to deep inside my head I whined gently and cursed the gashes on my face. That Doe really got her vengeance. Standing back up I jumped forward into a gallop, my strides lengthening as I descended the hill, sniffing for the pack's scent on the wind.

((ok this has kinda gotten to where it doesnt make sense but i will do my best))
Call brought up the rear of the pack, doing her best to help Storm keep an eye on everyone as she lead the front of the retreat. Roe wiggled uncomfortably in Calls mouth, but the little pup would have to sit tight. They were not yet out of harms way. Call thought their only choice now would be either to retreat further into the mountains or to head back south. Both not Calls favorite options,but the pack didnt have much choice now. Call sides heaved in and out, finally she let her true wolf form emerge taking the energy that is provided to her. Call was a fantastic sprinter, but she was not much for cross country running, she wasnt as young as she used to be. She shifted her amber orbs to where Dai was passed out on Storms back, worried for her friend once again hurt. As Calls thoughts swirled around chaoticlally in her mind, the smallest of snowflakes began falling from an angry grey sky.... |

after we got quite a ways away from where the humans were, I stopped and smelled the air, "No trace of human...or even rouges" I whispered to myself then I found a large rock, not that there weren't already hundreds, I decided to lead the pack through the mountains cause it seemed like a safer choice, humans did not usually come far into the mountains,
"Ok everyone! we are going to stop here to rest, but stay alert, we don't know what could be in these mountains"
I called from the rock, I was happy to feel the cold swift wind of the high mountains, the grey gloomy skies and the smooth stone below, it felt more like home for me, I always loved the mountains especially in winter, but I knew we could never make our home here with the pack to think about, I rested Dai down on the ground. I watched everyone from a tall rock like the one from our old camp and closed my eyes trying to see from Dom's point of view. "Please be careful" I said to him silently

- My tongue lolling over my bottom jaw while the cool wind began to seep through my thick fur I enjoyed the cool air as I had been running for awhile now and was rather warm causing the gashes to sting from the humidity- ' Good, I'm glad you and the Pack are safe, Keep your eyes and ears open. Those mountains though safe at most times can be tricky and dangerous on others. Plus I smell a storm rolling in, which is good we need our scent masked, And Yes I should be able to' I assure gently taking a sharp turn through a small forest harboring hundreds of massive, old trees.

- Nodding to myself in response to Storm I veered right and sprinted down a hill slope leading straight into the mountains. Running along the rocky path, weaving between massive nature worn stone structures and avoiding small streams that broke through a crevice in the mountain every now and again I finally caught strong wind of the Pack. Leaping over an old, fallen tree I saw Storm perched on a rock and gave a small howl to the pack.-

Yuushuu sighed heavily as she lay down to rest her legs, looking up at the snow gently falling in tiny little flakes. Yuushuu loved snow, it reminded her of so many happy memories. She let a small smile creep across her face when a flake dropped on the tip of her nose and melted there. But the smile faded when she looked back at the rest of the pack, hoping everything would be okay from here. Though a feeling lingered inside her, like she knew there would be much more to face before they were truly safe.

Call huffed to herself. She was tired,hungry, and she had become bitter in a sense as the pack stopped. She lowered Roe from her mouth, the pup probably stiff and sore from the bouncing around on the journey. Call mumbled to herself as she went to a copse of bush that had started to become covered in the snow. She began the process of digging a den for her and the others, her paws raking furiously at the ground. She used the bushes to block the majority of the snowfall from where the entrance would be, the ground was at least soft here..but that made it no less a task. |
