I explain gently before scooting closer my voice softening, " There's snow everywhere. It's covering the trees and the dens, your tracks are the only brown contrasting against it. The sun is a beautiful neon orange and pink color mixed exactly in the middle. Everyone is still sleeping, birds are sitting a little ways from us in massive snow blanketed fir, they're a beautiful brown and orange. They're mates" I smile as I look to the birds who are fluffed and ruffled against each other their beaks touching every so often followed by a series of loving cheeps and squeaks.

I laughed. Listening to Dom describe the scene gave me immense joy and put my imagination to the test. "Mates. I'm sure they'll have lovely chicks in the spring."

((Yo Pack, I won't be on for about four days because my internet will be off for about that long, if I go to some place with internet obviously I will get on but until then, Kody, you have my permission to use my character, just don't go all out k? See y'all soon~))
Awakening from a well rest, Storm stretched and got up from the stone floor. "Morning to you both." she pressed her face against Daisuki's cheek then rubbed against Dominik as a greeting then sat straight and looked out at the beautiful morning scene.

After Storm pressed her face against her cheek. I remembered the vision I was shown. The part about Dom and Storm. I didn't know how to feel about that and whether to believe they would get together and have pups or not. They have been together for a while;l I don't see why not. I felt as if Dom and Storm needed some alone time and I made my way down the rock but tripped from a miscalculation. I rolled down rest of the way and then I finally came to a halt. I shook the snow off me. I giggled at myself for tripping. I must've looked so funny. I headed back to the den to see if Yuushuu was up.
Instead of Yushuu being up Roe was. She made such tiny vibrations as she walked. I sat down as Roe curled into a ball atop my paws. I licked her clean and then she went somewhere else into the den. I just sat there. Really not much I can do. Dom's words echoed in my head. "A test" I quietly told myself. |

Yuushuu shifted lazily and opened her eyes to see Daisuki and Roe. Assuming immediately that Dom and Storm were outside, she got up and stretched without worry, letting out a long and satisfied yawn. Today it felt like everything would be alright for some reason.
"Good morning." she said as she padded over to Dai. She snuggled Roe's head a little and did the same to Daisuki in a more playful manner.

I brushed against the now awake Yuushuu. "Morning" I told her. "How about we take Roe for a walk to let her feel the soft snow underneath her feet?" I suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea." Yuushuu replied, looking out at the snowy forest area outside. It looked so much more pleasant in the morning than it had last night, it almost seemed as though it could never have been so unpleasant.

Watching Daisuki as she made her way back into the den, Storm looked over at Dominik wondering what to do about her vision. Shaking her head she got up and stretched, seeing the food pile has only a rabbit or two she took a step down the slope before turning her head and looking at Dominik. "I'm going hunting if thats alright with you" she said waiting for his reply, 'hunting will give me time to think'.

I walked out the Den waiting for Yuushuu to follow. I thought about going into my true form to look around just for a bit. I decided just this once. I closed my eyes tightly and then opened them again in my true form. It was beautiful. I saw Storm on top the rock with Alpha. I went back to my regular form.

Nodding to Stormy I rubbed against her side before jumping down from the rock and noticing only Call was residing in the den now. " Be careful" I say to Storm before she nods back and leaps the opposite way of me off the lower end of the rock and takes off at an easy trot into the woods. Staring around the den at the emptiness I as any caring Alpha would, took a breath to ease my nerves and remind myself that they'll be back. Taping into everyone's psyche except Call, I padded over to her and nuzzled her crystalline white fur all over before lifting my head and smiling down at her as she slept. Turning I walked out of Call's den and once again looked around.

((Glad to be back, I can clearly see not much happened while I was gone :P))
Running deep into the woods, Storm caught a slight movement out of the corner of her eye and quickly went into a hunting crouch, slowly stalking in the direction of which noises were flowing from. With a thrust forward she landed a foot away from what appeared to be a squirrel and with a quick swipe of her paw she stunned it giving her the chance to break its neck. After doing just that she noticed it tasted a bit different, 'smoke...' suddenly she breathed in the smoky scent of burned forest and saw the strange squirrel had scorched fur and a large scar going across it's face. "An omen, it's an omen" she realized then backed away from it, her fur standing. A little bit later, Storm began to run back to where the rest of the Pack was, by now she had caught two mice and a blackbird and was carrying them back to camp.

Call slept soundly after he chat with Dom. She felt the warmth of the sun creep in before the mornings rays finally hit her closed eyes. She sniffed around before yawning, her tongue stretching past her canines. She blearily looked around at the empty den, seemed she was the last to wake. She lifted herself up her front paws stretching across the den floor, her rear and tail up in the air... After she had properly stretched she padded to the den entrance and looked out into the snow covered woods. She noticed the tracks of muddy paw prints in the snow and sniffed in the direction her packmates had taken. They would probably be out for a while she thought to herself as she set off in the direction of the stream. She watched the snow birds flitting around the treetops, as she passed. Most of the smaller game would soon be underground in their winter slumber. Call thought what it might be like to sleep for such a long time. Though her dreams as of late made that not such an appealing idea, plus where would the pack find such an abundance of food? Her thoughts were brought to a halt as she reached the banks of the stream.

Storm had gotten back to the clearing to find a few sets of pawprints in the snow, "Looks like Yuushuu, Roe and Daisuki have gone out for a walk" she said to herself through the mice and blackbird hanging from her mouth. She walked over to the small pile where the little prey had been and dropped the mice in before turning tail and carrying the blackbird to where she had last seen Dominik.

Dominik, now a few yards into the forest sat by a large snow clad fir looking out into the snow his eyes stirring with curiosity and slight worry. Lifting his muzzle towards the tree tops his voice was nearly a whisper, " Something seems wrong... I can feel it... Call is having night visions, Stormy is seeing omens... but omens of what? I thought we were supposed to be safe here? I thought we could stop running and moving... at least until we find our new den.." looking to the ground I realized what a pup I sounded like, but how could I not? laying my ears back and releasing a heavy breath I lifted my nose towards the skies pulling a massive gust of air into my lungs and pushed my voice into a howl, a prayer to the Spirits. Listening for the others to join from where they were, I pushed my worry down into the ground below me, singing out to the skies for help and guidance.

Call was lazily lapping at the stream, having a nice long drink to wet her dry palette. She flicked her ears as Doms voice reached her. He sounded worried, so sad and lost. She didnt know what she could do for them anymore, her night dreams were strange yes, but..maybe the skin wearers were trying to help them? Call should have laughed at her own silly thoughts, but she didnt. The thought didnt seem so crazy after all. She looked at her paws for a moment in deep thought, she could hear the others joining in the somber song. For some reason Call didnt feel worried anymore. She straightened her neck and sat her rump on the ground. Her true wolf flowing out of her, starting at the tip of her muzzle the bright lgiht swirled downwards towards her tail. She added her own song to the voices, but not one of sadness, nor dispair, or even worry. Her voice rang like a bell through the trees, the birds lifted into the air at the sudden noise of it all. She added hope, and maybe even a bit of laughter wagging her tail wildly.

Storm had climbed on top of the large stone where she leaped from when she had left to go hunting. Then hearing Dominik's song, she dropped the blackbird on the cold stone and took a step forward, pushing out air from her lungs in a howl, joining the symphony of howls of the Pack.

Call's song came very distinctly and clear as a bell, she always did have such a unique howl. I was asking for help and guidance with the other songs joining me, every song that is, except Call's. Listening to her tone as we filled the forest with music I heard the lack of worry that danced with her notes, she sounded at peace maybe even a tad happy. 'Maybe I don't need to worry. maybe I'm thinking too much' letting the song die down a gust of wind swept from one end of the forest and rushed through, like an eager pup chasing play, young and wild. I watched the swirling snow it held as it hit my fir my black frame became speckled with tid bits of snow. For the first time in a while a laugh rumbled from my lungs. A sudden ease and even playful-ness seemed to frolic through the forest on the new breeze. Going with it I turned my head and loped through the snow after the wind as it lifted snow into the air swirling it around like confetti.

Call smiled a wolfy grin as the wind whipped through the forest now,seemingly enchanted by wolf song. She felt the wind slide up her back and ruffle her snow colored pelt. Ceasing her part of the chorus she rushed off to find the others, she had an idea..a thought she wanted to share. She pulled her maw close the the ground, looking for a trace of scent. She finally picked up on Dom's and rushed off through the frozen landscape to find him. She felt like a bolt of lightning grazing the ground lightly on quick feet.

Leaping through the snow and taking in the young wind I saw Call ahead and loped over to her slowing to a trot then stopping when I neared her. " Enjoying the sudden snowy wind as well?" I questioned with a sly smile as I saw the faint hint of excitement dancing in her eyes.

I'm sorry to say this guys, but I think I'm going to drop out. I'm just not as excited about this as I was before, and it's going too fast for me to properly keep up. I may come back to it, but for now I don't think I can do it. My heart just isn't completely in it. I wish you all luck though and it was fun while it lasted. <3
