"Well, he took me over the border in one day once. I think he could get you that far." Thomas said.

Ace said,"Well it is a proven fact that War horses are fast."

"I know that," Elly said, rolling her eyes. She looked at Bullet, studying him again. "But I need to know how fast. He won't do me any good if he's not able to compete with a horse like Blizzard." She shrugged slightly and then turned and looked at the white horse, realizing that she could just keep the one she'd gotten from her father.

"How much would you want for Bullet?" she asked Thomas. 

"Ah, so this is the horse that I've heard talk about..." Elly murmured, nodding with approval. She gently stroked Bullet's coat. "He does seem to be a fine young horse, most definitely worth at least forty-five coins..." She pulled some coins from the pocket of her cloak and counted out forty-five.

"But I have to ask... Why are you selling him for such a low amount?" she questioned, returning the extra coins to her pocket. "You could get so much more for him if you wanted to."

"Because,no one will buy him for the original price i asked." Thomas sighed.He'd set the price of forty gallons of human blood and no smart person would give it to him,for it was too high.

Ace was shocked at this,"You mean no one would buy him?"

"That's surprising," Elly said, her eyes widening a little. She shook her head. "No price would be too high for such a fine horse!" She nodded a little bit.

"What was the original price?" she asked Thomas. She smiled slightly. "I definitely think Bullet is worth whatever you asked for."

"The original price,my dear, was forty gallons of human blood,you see i have a curse and cannot live off of animal blood." Thomas said.A sly wicked smirk coming across his pale pink lips.

Ace gasped,"No...you're a?"

Elly took a slight step back, her eyes widening even more. She was silent, a million thoughts racing through her head as she tried to come up with a response of some sort.

"I-I don't know what to say to that..." she said slowly. She shook her head a little bit. "I mean... I think Bullet's worth such a price, but I can understand why no one would want to pay such a price for him..." 

"Heh,i understand as well.That'd be like the king granting me twenty slaves to do what i need to do with." Thomas said bluntly.It amused him when she'd take a step back.

Ace was shocked,"So that's why i don't remember you getting any older huh?"

"Don't underestimate the king's kindness; he has more than enough slaves," Elly said after a moment. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "But that's not the point..." She nodded and opened her eyes again.

"You're a vampire... Why haven't you broken into the castle and had your way with everything?" she asked him. She bit her lip, hesitant to hear his response. "I mean, surely you're able to get away with practically anything." 

"You're one strange person..." Elly said slowly. She shook her head a little bit. "I know plenty of people who would die to have the chances and opportunities that you have... Yet to throw them all away?" She laughed at the thought.

"I'm not sure if you're brilliant or just crazy, or maybe even both," she admitted after a moment. 

"Look,i am not one of those wealth crazed idiots.So i'm definately not completely phsycotic." Thomas said folding his arms.He'd already known he could easily as.sasinate the king easy.How did every expect him to get his item?he snuck into the castle ofcourse.

Ace frowned,"He's just too kind and generous for that kind of thing."

"I didn't say that he wasn't, nor did I say that he was a wealth-crazed idiot," Elly replied, shaking her head a little. "I'm just merely saying that I think it's weird that he would p*censored* up so many chances." She shrugged a little.

"But then again, what do I know? To you guys, I'm just a spoiled little brat who's just wasting your time." 

Ace said," Pretty much"

Thomas said,"Naw,anyway,i'll out live everyone anyway so i ahve those chances there if want it."

Elly rolled her eyes, but chose to ignore what Ace had said. She looked over at Thomas.

"Why'd you choose to ask for such a high price?" she asked him."Why forty gallons of blood instead of some smaller number?" She leaned against Blizzard for a moment and closed her eyes, sighing softly.

"Because,that was the price a witch offered me to return humanity to me if i wished." Thomas said calmly.

Ace trotted Soldier to Madison's place to see what he might have that she wanted.

Elly nodded slowly as she listened to Thomas. She thought for a moment.

"And if I was able to help you get what you need, what would I recieve in return?" she asked him. She laughed a little. "I think you deserve a second chance to be a human."

"How're you liking the horse?" Madison asked when he saw Ace. He smiled at her. "He's a really fine one; suits you perfectly." He nodded a little. He picked up a grooming kit for a horse and showed it to Ace.

"You might want this if you don't already have one..."

"If you were looking for an easy way out of the country and to start a new life,i could offer that." Thomas replied. He wasn't sure what she was getting at.

Ace smiled under the cloak that hid her face."Thanks,and i don't have one of those kits..."

"You have yourself a deal," Elly replied after a moment. She smiled a little bit, made happy by the thought of getting away from the castle.

"How much longer will you be here tonight?" she asked him. "If you'll be finished soon, then we can go ahead and get this started."

"I'll sell it to you for five coins, a fourth of what anyone else would pay," Madison told her. He nodded slightly. "It's brand new, never before been used. I think it's perfect for your new horse, miss."
