"I couldn't ask him to do that for me," Elly said, shaking her head. "I know I haven't exactly made a wonderful impression on either of you, and at any rate, I doubt he'd do something that he won't gain much of anything from." She sighed and put her hands in the pocket of her cloak. |

Elly blinked a couple of times and slowly nodded. She laughed. "I'd forgotten about that," she admitted. She nodded a second time. "But yes, I guess we did make some sort of a deal last night, though I'm not sure if we'll even go through with it. I've been tricked by way too many vampires to fully trust what they say." |

"I'll talk with him tonight and see what he thinks about all of this," Elly replied. She nodded a little bit and looked over at Ace. "What about you? Are you sure that the best thing for you to do is to stay here in Father's country? It might be best if you left with us..." She nodded a second time.

Ace replied.She felt staying in territory that they would not only put her to death if seen and recognized,she'd never be free."Also just a tip,bring as much gold as you can if and when we leave." She said trying to be atleast helpful.Gold would be useful and get tons of needed things for them.

"Gold won't be a problem to acquire," Elly said with a laugh. She smiled a little bit. "We can go talk to Thomas tonight, and Madison might also be interested in leaving with us. I think I'd feel much safer if I'm with you and two vampires instead of it just being Thomas and me," she added. She laughed softly. "I just hope we don't get caught." |

"The people here are quite superstitious," Elly agreed. She paused for a moment before she spoke again. "But if my father orders them to do something, then they won't disagree with what he says no matter what. They'd be too afraid of making his wife angry."

"As long as my father's not hurt, I don't care what happens to his wife. She's not my mother, and I refuse to think of her as one," Elly said calmly. She nodded a little, feeling positive that her father would not leave the castle to look for her. She knew that he would understand why she wanted to leave the castle behind.

Elly nodded a little, but didn't say anything. She was trying to decide if having her father miss her so much was worth running away. After a couple of minutes, she shrugged. "That can't be helped," she said. "He'll have my sister there still, and I doubt he'll even have time to miss me since the war is still going on." |

Ace pulled her sleeve down revealing the scar,"This is proof of his abuse.I think perhaps your father could spare me if were to return to the time,though,your fathers queen may be the issue...perhaps i could bribe her with secret war tactics my father uses?i am quite tired of sleeping in a cave." she asked.She didn't really wanna go back to that little confined space that she'd slept in for the last ten years of life.

"There's an abandoned cottage in the forest behind the castle. You could stay there for a while," Elly said after a moment. She nodded and smiled at Ace. "I can talk it over with Father, and then maybe we can move you into the castle until we leave. He's very kind, so I'm sure he'll agree with anything I want to do."
