Dr. Neihof smiled in approval, knowing Tafton's love of fire type pokemon quite well. He handed him a bag with some stuff in it to get him started on his gym leading quest, and gestured for him to return to his seat. The litleo ((who you can gender and nickname!)) followed calmly behind, obedient as can be, already loyal to its new master.
Another boy sitting behind him nodded respectfully at Taft, admiring how well his pokemon already obeyed him. His name was Jake, and his growlithe sat calmly on the floor next to him.
It was just moments later that Dr. Neihof signaled for the students to head outside. There was a giant rush, with everyone making it for the door to get out to the courtyard and test out their pokemon. They ran so fast that Taft didn't have a chance to move. Soon, it was just him in the room with a couple of other people.
Vera was still there with her staryu, and Carl with his swinub. Pierre, the gym leader's son was also still there with his snubbull. Jake and his growlithe were there, silent as ever. And another girl named Kiki was left. Her last name was Zelx, so she had gone last, and hadn't even had the chance to sit down with her pokemon yet. She had chosen a zigzagoon.
You can talk to these people, or head outside and look for others and see the courtyard. In the next few posts you will be making your 'party.' You can have up to 4 extra people in your party but 3 is usually what people choose. You can stay and try and talk to a couple of these students and see if you like them or not, but remember there's 95 other students outside!
