Appearence: Lance stands tall for a 17 year old. [I'll change the age once we figure it out.] He has jet black hair that tends to cover his icy blue eyes but isn't so long that it looks more feminine. It has more of a messy masculine style. [ I'm emphasizing the hair part because I hate when guys make there hair look long enough to look like girls. So... Pretty much, his hair is long but not feminine D: *Picture at bottom* ] His lips are usually plastered in a friendly smile, with his jaw strong and smooth, always in a clean shave. Ironically, he enjoys dressing more formally. Usually wearing a button down shirt, having the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, with black pants. And, sometimes, he even wears a tie or a black vest. But, he also wears more casual things also.

 

He doesn't smoke though.

Powers  :
1. Ability to turn invisible.
2. Ability to talk to animals.

Other?   Lance will have a pet black cat, Yaya, that follows him everywhere. Though, at school, Yaya wanders around the perimeter like she's a wild cat, and not owned. She's very well trained, especially since she can communicate clearly with Lance.
 He will also be a foreign studen from England. So... He has a British Accent <3

 I smoothed out my white button down shirt as I got out of my silver Elantra. I chose not to wear a tie or vest today, for I wanted to fit in with the rest of the students atleast a littler.
 It wasn't like I was a stranger in America, I visited a lot to see my mother, but living here made me feel a bit more anxious.
I heard about the high schools in America. They were much different from the ones in England. I guessed it was because in America, teens had a different definition for 'Respect'.
I felt like everyone were staring right at me as I walked inside the large building. I wanted to make myself turn invisible right there, and remembering that it was a school for people with powers, I was just about to when I realized it would look wierd to see a back pack floating in mid air. Though it really was just on my back. So I just chose to deal with the eyes that were studying me.
I walked anxiously to the school office to get my schedule and locker number, still feeling eyes boring into my back. Was there something wrong with me?
I guessed it was just because I was new, though it was the first day of school. I bet half of the students here, were here last year.
Or, maybe it was because I was wearing a button down shirt. What was so wrong with dressing up?

Kaya walked through the hallways, aimlessly. School hadn't started yet, so she had time to walk around. She knew several of the people here, and waved to various people as she went down the hallways. Every once and a while one of her friends would walk with her and talk to her for a little bit, but would eventually go talk to someone else, since they hadn't seen anyone since the last day of school last year. She stopped, seeing a new person she hadn't met before. He was wearing a button down shirt, which was completely unnecessary for the first day of school. She kind of wanted to go talk to him, since she had not met him, but no one else seemed to be talking to him. Most of the other people seemed to be staring at him, confused by what he was wearing. Kaya stared, also, not really wanting to stand out.

Though it felt awkward with the way the students stared, I new sooner or later they'd get over it. Was it really forbidden to wear formal clothes in America?
"Hello."
I said, my accent spilling from my lips naturally as I nodded my head toward a student I saw walking by. The guy stared at me, as if wanting to know why I was talking to him, and finally I heard a,
"Wassup man?"
Odd way of a greeting, but I understood.
"I'm very well, thank you. Would you mind directing me to locker 235? Unfortunately, I don't know where to locate it."
The guy did a smirk, before pointing.
"Down that hall, to the right. Lockers in the 200's are easily to find once you get down there, british boy."
I didn't know how to respond to that, so I did a sheepish smile and said,
"Thank you very much."
Before walking confidently in the direction the guy pointed to, I noticed the students stopped staring. Thank goodness. Finally, the students 'got a life' and quit the staring. I guessed it was just because I was new, that they were interested in me.
I shouldn't have been so paranoid.
As I finally came to the lockers, there were directions that directed me to my own locker. When I got there, I stuffed my bag in and finally checked my schedule from the papers the office has given me.
The schedule read:
1st Period: Controling Your Gifts and Talents.
Funny way of saying their students had powers. Why not be blunt about it?
Second Period: Extending the period of time to be invisible.
I understood this as a subject, because with my ability to turn invisible, there is only a certain amount of time before you reappear again. I didn't know you could extend the time of being invisible though.
Before I could see the other classes [ And because I don't feel like making them up for my powers... D: ] the bell rang. Making me jump in surprise. Before rechecking my first class, I followed the directions on the map to room 14, where the 'Controling Your Gifts and Talents' class would be held. I opened the door, and came inside to see a tan, bald middle aged man by a chalk board, writing words on the board.
FOCUS
Was the first. Before I looked at the rest, I heard other students coming, and didn't want to be in there way. I quickly found a seat in the back, since I didn't know where everyone else usually sat.

(Kaya will be in the same class as him in 1st period, if that's okay. If not, I'll edit this post.)

The bell rang. Kaya sighed, and walked to room 14. She entered the room and could see the writing on the board, then walked over to the teacher. The teacher pointed to a seat in the third row of desks, and Kaya nodded and went to her seat. She was early to class, and only a few other students were there, one of them being the new student that everyone was staring at in the hallways. She looked at him for a second, then crossed her arms on her desk. She was bored, and it would be a little bit before the bell rang again signalling that any students who weren't in their classes by then would be late.

She uncrossed her arms, and created a very small amount of green electricity. It formed into a little ball. She began letting it go from one hand to the other, then back and forth. She threw the electricity up into the air, then caught it, and began tossing it from one hand to the other.

She shot a bolt of electricity at her pencil. It flew across the room, narrowly missing the teacher. Luckily, he didn't notice. Kaya was bored, and her energy couldn't be contained. She was playing with green lightning to entertain herself.

But, the second period, she shouldn't be in, because her powers are different. But, you probably know that ahahahaa. xD

As more students piled in, I remembered some from the hallway. I didn't say any greetings to them, but if one looked my way I wouldn't be afraid to do a friendly smile in there way.
Just as the teacher turned his back and started writing more on the chalkboard, I found myself watching the girl in front of me.
Her power was unbelievably fascinating!
I would have tapped her shoulder, or said something to her about it, but I didn't want to get her or me in trouble. And, I didn't want to bother her either.
So, instead, I watched from my distance. Still intrigued.
Then, as the pencil almost stabbed right through the teacher, I couldn't help but whisper to myself,
"Amazing..."
Hopefully she hadn't heard me. The last thing I wanted was for her to notice that I was watching her. There was a difference between friendly and stalker, and I didn't want to seem like the latter.

Kaya didn't hear Lance, and she soon became  bored with her electricity ball. She smashed it onto the desk, destroying it, not leaving a trace. She could touch the electricity. Since she controlled lightning, it only made sense that she was lightning-proof.

She decided to try something else. She created a ring of electricity, and after a few tries, she got it to spin in circles, but stay in the same place in the air. She grabbed it between her fingers. It stopped spinning. She put it around her pointer finger. It was bigger than her finger, so she could spin it like a hula-hoop on her finger. She smiled, getting an idea.

Kaya put the electricity in the air, and spun it like a coin. It spun over and over, moving around a little in the air.

(The teacher should notice her  and get mad XD)
