Of course, I was still watching in amazement at this girls power, but I was starting to worry that she'd get someone hurt - herself hurt - or she'd get in trouble.
"Now, as you see on the board, the first step to controlling your powers is FOCUS..."
The teacher went on, but as he did, I wasn't listening. Just as I was about to warn the girl about the teacher being able to see what she was doing, I heard a,
"What is this?"
The teacher, introduced on the board as Mr. Myers, gently put the chalk on his desk and came over to the girl.
"I see your controlling your powers quite nicely."
He said with a smile on his face at first. Then, in all seriousness, a scolding look that would make any student want to kill them self rather then see Mr. Myers this way came onto his ex
pression.
"How dare you play with your magic before you understand the rules and regulations? How dare you play with magic while I'm teaching!  If you've been here last year, you'd know very well that this school strictly forbids power that is not used responsibly. Do you understand me, Miss Bangle?"
Mr. Myers knew her last name, which explained that she truly was here last year. I felt sorry for the girl, for she was doing her powers properly. I raised my hand hesitantly and with a slight nod from the teacher, I went on.
"You said so yourself, that she was controlling her powers nicely. More then 'quite nicely', if I may put my own opinion. She was perfect in every step..." Then I muttered, "Except for the pencil part..." Then I kept going for him to hear. "So, instead of scolding her for 'using her powers irresponsibly', why don't you praise her for doing them so precise? I don't know about anyone else, but I was quite impressed."

[[The teacher can be a NPC if you want. Which means you can play Mr. Myers also, if you wannaaaa.xD ]

Kaya's lightning disappeared into nothing and was gone the instant he came over to her desk. She wanted to go invisible, or teleport or something. But she didn't have any powers like that. "I'm sorry." She said several times as he scolded her. When the student behind her started talking, she looked back at him. She narrowed her hazel eyes as he said that she had been perfect in every step. Except for the thing with the pencil. Why was he watching every step?

Mr. Myers frowned at the student. "She needs to learn more about her power before she starts using it, let alone playing with it while she is supposed to be concentrating on what I am teaching. She needs to learn to control it perfectly before she can use it around other students, especially since she controls lightning. Now, I don't know what this pencil thing was, but I don't want to hear about it. If I allowed her to play with her powers any longer, who knows what might have happened? Maybe she would've electrcuted someone!"

"Mr Myers, he was only trying to help-"

"Detention!" Mr Myers said.

Kaya stood up, clenching her fist and making elecricity zap all around them. "WHAT?!?"  She was furious. She got angry like this once in a while.

"Now it's going to be detention for a week, Kaya!"

Kaya sat back down. If she argued longer, she would simply recieve more detention. "Yes, sir." The teacher walked away, back up to the board. Several students stared at Kaya, as she had made quite a scene, and brought a lot of attention to herself.

Throughout the little arguement, I found myself wanting to turn invisible. But, seeing as Mr. Myers already had gotten upset with the girl using her powers, I didn't want to get in trouble also.
But... I felt that part of this was my fault. I mean, I was the one that should have warned her about being caught...
And, she was the one getting a detention? She didn't hurt anyone!
Finally, I snapped back into what Mr. Myers was speaking about.
"Before I get more in depth on our lesson, I would like for you to tell me your abilities." He nodded to the front row.
"You first."
As the list went on, I found myself growing dreary. And, when it became the girls turn, Mr. Myers said,
"I believe we already know hers."
Before moving on. When it came to be my turn, I felt it again. Everyone staring at me.
I've never felt so embarressed in my life. I always hated talking about my powers...
"I... I have the ability of turning invisible." I said, then cleared my throat as I added,
"And, I can communicate with animals..."
Some snickered in the back, and I understood why. These were powers for insecure shy girls, not guys like me who can talk to anyone I pleased without being offended if they completely blew me off.
Mr. Myers thought different.
"Amazing! Will you show me?"
He asked before grabbing his class pet [ for his younger students ] hampsters and bringing them - in their cage - to me. I nodded my head and stared at the hampsters before repeating what they said as if I was reading it off of a paper.
"Help us. Our owner keeps forgetting to feed us and give us water. He keeps neglecting to clean our cage. Can you imagine living in your own... Toilet...?"
I looked up at him with a sheepish grin.
"Wow Mr. Myers. You don't seem like the best pet owner. Neglecting on responsibilities? Someone should give you detention the way you did to her, since she was neglecting her reponsibilities also."
At my smark remark, all the students laughed. Mr. Myers frowned. I wasn't stupid. I was purposely trying to get a detention. I mean, c'mon, if I felt like part of the reason the girl got detention was because of me, shouldn't I get a detention too?"
Mr. Myers face was red with rage.
"What's your name, young man."
I suddenly regretted what I've done.
"Lancelot."
"Well, Lancelot, you will attending detention with Miss. Bangle the rest of the week."
I did a fake sigh and said,
"Yes sir."
At least I got what I wanted.

Kaya laughed as she heard what the student said the hampsters were saying. Though she felt bad for the hampsters, she couldn't help but laugh at Mr. Myers. She sighed as Mr. Myers gave the student detention. 

Mr. Meyers pointed at Lance's desk in the back row. "Go back to your seat." He said.

(Sorry for the short post, I couldn't think of much to say.)

Sorry. I don't have detention in my school and I don't know how it works. I know some people who have detention during classes xD ]]

The rest of my classes went by smoothly. No girl getting detention for shooting green electricity everywhere. No hampsters talking about how their owner is negtecting them.
Not even detention slips being handed out, kind of like the first class.
Finally though, my last class was over. The class was 'How To Use Your Powers For Good.'
... I was still getting irritated by the long titles.
As I studied the detention slip, it said the room to go to.
Room 24 - Detention. Which was on the next level. There was more students in this school then you'd think. So much that there was a need for 5 levels. Thankfully, they got a elevator in.
I went to the elevator, after a long while searching for one close by, and pressed the button for the second level.
Maybe I'd be able to apologize to the girl once I got to the detention.

Kaya's other classes went well for the most part. She didn't use lightning again, and the only bad thing was that she'd tripped and fell in the hallway. Kaya took the stairs up to the second level and walked into Room 24. She could see the british student who had gotten in trouble for saying Mr. Myers was a bad pet owner. That hadn't been a smart thing to do.

She sat down next  to him. Mr. Myers wasn't the one watching the students at detention, it was another teacher named Ms. Koss who was Kaya's fifth period teacher in a class about not using your powers unless completely neccesary. Ms. Koss wasn't very good at her job, and she left the room often to talk to other teachers in the hallway.

Ms. Koss left the room and Kaya turned to the student who had gotten detention in the same class as her. "Why did you say that to Mr. Myers?" She whispered. "Didn't you know there'd be a consequence?"

I found a seat to sit down at after giving Mrs. Koss the slip to show why I was in detention. Before the awkward silence between the two could be stopped, someone else walked into the room.
It was the girl Mr. Myers referred to as Miss Bangle.
I suppressed a friendly smile or wave, seeing as the point of detention was no talking as a punishment.
But, as the teacher left, I thought, Why not?
Before I could say anything she did first. With a crooked grin, I started.
"Well... Part of the reason why you had been given detention for a week was because of me. I noticed your power doing way before Mr. Myers did, and I should have said something so that you wouldn't have gotten in trouble. So... I thought, I my as well get in trouble to. As my punishment..."
Saying it outloud made me feel stupid.
It sounded stupid.

"I was the one using my powers though, not you. It wasn't your fault. I should've stopped anyway. I don't really know you, either. So why would it matter to you?" She asked. He didn't need to get himself in trouble for something she did, especially since she didn't even know him. "It was sort of stupid of you." She added.

She hoped he didn't do anything like this again, and if he had noticed her powers, she didn't really care. Everyone had probably seen her using them, anyway. The it hadn't been the student's fault any more than anyone else's. More than just the one person had probably watched. Who wouldn't want to watch green lightning and a teacher nearly being impaled by a pencil?

I felt a small shrug move my shoulders, but other then that I didn't know how to respond. Truthfully, I felt like an idiot. I was just trying to be nice. Make a friend. And, instead, I was looking stupid.
"I'm sorry."
I said, putting my lips in a straight line.
"I think I just wanted your attention, is all."
I wasn't saying that as in 'I had a wimpy crush on her'. Her powers were amazing, and I found her interesting.
"Your powers...They're impressive. Is that your only power or do you have other things your able to do?"
I asked, already interested before she even answered.

"It's okay." Kaya said. Maybe I made him feel bad... "It was nice of you. Even if it was stupid. And I can only control the lightning." She explained. "But green lightning is plenty, in my opinion." She paused.

"It's cool that you can talk to animals. It kinda makes me wonder what my dog...well...my wolf-dog hybrid would say." She wondered what his reaction would be when she said she owned a wolf-dog. With most people, they would be shocked and tell her it was going to kill her some day because it was part wolf.

"I bet."
I agreed at her first response about her electricity ability. I'd trade that for my powers...
Did she just say that it was cool?
"I... Yeah, I have fun talking to animals and stuff. But, it's kind of wierd if you think about it..."
I said with a shrug. But, then an idea popped in my head,
"Wolf-dog? Well this may sound dangerous but, how about I meet this hybrid and see what he says?"
I asked, hoping she'd say yes.

"Okay." Kaya said. "She's kinda...umm...agressive, though. She only likes me and a couple other people. That's why I don't bring her with me to school. That, and the fact that she'd probably eat Mr. Myers's hampsters."

 Kaya paused." I can put her on a leash if you want when you come and see her." She paused again, thinking that Akime, her wolf dog, would probably say something like she wanted to rip his throat out.

"Don't be offended if she says something violent or horrible to you." Kaya added. She knew why her wolf-dog was agressive. As a puppy, it had been abused by its owners. Kaya had seen them beat the puppy, and stole the wolf-dog from them. She hid the dog from the owners until Kaya's family moved to the place where she lived now, and it had taken her several years to get Akime to trust her. Kaya also knew not to try and pet Akime's head, because if you raised your hand to the dog's head, it would bite you, thinking you were going to hit it. "Do you want to come over after detention?"

The way she described the dog was frightening, and I was starting to regret the suggestion of me coming over.
But... My ability was to heal. Any wound I would most likely leave the house with will be healed easily.
"I'd love to come after detention."
I said, with one nod. Before I could say more, Ms. Koss appeared from the door. And went back to her desk.
I slunk back in my chair, hoping this would be over soon.
"No sleeping, Lancelot."
Ms. Koss said. With a smirk, I stood straight again. I wasn't even sleeping but... Whatever.

(lol. for some reason I imagined this:

Kaya: "I have a rabid wolfdog! It can kill you! Wanna see?"

Lance: Oh...crap... "Sure!")

"Good." Kaya said, smiling, right before Ms. Koss entered the room. She laughed a little bit when Ms. Koss came back into the room and told the student not to sleep. Kaya looked at the clock, seeing what time it was. twenty more minutes until detention was over. (Fail, sorry :C)

And, I'm kind of not posting on roleplays that I try harder on. Rough day today, and my head hurts, so I'm tired. So when I post, it might be really short. D:
