When Jake came into the room, she rolled her eyes, careful for him not to see what she did. Her fists were already clenched, but when he mentioned her appearance- "Deathly pale," - she clenched them even harder in an effort not to beat the living daylights out of him. She wasn't a morning person, and Jake was definately not helping.

It only got worse when he mentioned her going off at night to hunt her 'imaginary' monsters. She clenched her fists so hard that she could feel her fingernails digging into the palms of her hands, drawing a bit of blood. What she hunted at night was definately not imaginary, and they were worse than any monster you could imagine. Oh what she would give to see what Jake would do in the presence of a hostile vampire; he would probably pee on himself. Zuri snickered at the thought.

Finally he got off of the previous topic, and Zuri nodded. "Okay." She put on a fake smile, trying to think of her brother; to think of the house. To think of the chocolate.

Zuri prayed that her brother hadn't given Jake her cell phone number. When Jake left, Zuri stood up, and yawned. Being awake during the day didn't feel right. She left the room, and exited the library. She got into her truck, and drove to her house, the radio blasting a hard rock song in her ear the whole way.

She looked at the clock when she entered her house. It was about one thirty in the afternoon. She needed to make sure that her brother wasn't home before she went back downstairs to check on Olavi.

"Timo, are you home?" She yelled through the house.

((Her brother is eventually going to find out about those noises coming from the basement.))

[[ Yeah, I'll make Olavi do something stupid later and Timo will find out.]]

There was noise, so he probably wasn't. Timo was most likely at work, but there was also the chance that he was sleeping.

After a few long seconds of silence, Zuri decided that Timo wasn't home, or at least he was sleeping. She ran a hand through her choppy bangs, and walked down the stairs of the basement. She flicked the light on, and walked over to the cage, not keeping a distance from it.

"Hey you," she said, not wanting to say Olavi's name. "You hungry?"

"My name's Olavi." Said vampire was curled up on a bunch of pillows on the ground. He sat up and attempted to yank down his unruly hair. "Yeah, kinda. Do you have a hair band I could use?" He asked. His eyes followed her movement.

He had been deathly bored all day, and that stupid t.v. hurt his ears and eyes. It felt like he had been starring at a light bulb the whole day when he simply glanced at it. After a while of covering up his ears, Olavi had managed to find the 'off' button on the remote and make the machine stop hurting him.

Zuri rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm not sure if I can help you with your hunger." She pulled her hair band out of her braid, her hair falling onto her shoulders in loose waves. She held it out through the bars to Olavi. "Here's a hair band."

She knew she shouldn't have been standing that close to the bars. But she couldn't help but feel like she was in no danger around Olavi. She didn't know if he would kill or hurt her, so she didn't care if she was goo close to the cell.

Zuri listened, and sighed. "So your father is an egomaniac, trying to take over the world. So what is your rank? A lower vampire or a noble? Or a prince? You still never answered my question about you being royalty." She sighed once again, and ran her fingers through her hair. She felt sick at her stomach. She knew that vampires were very capable of dominating the world, and it scared her.
