[[ |D Sorry it took me so long. Once role plays that take a second to respond too start coming, I tend to avoid the bigger ones. These types take me at least like... Twenty minutes to respond to, plus the extra minutes of me staring at the post like 'How do I respond... D:'. I know. I know. You thought I was such a pro that every post only takes a second to type out without even trying. I get it. Your thought of me as your hero is ruined. I understand. I'm sorry I let you down.

I wasn't expecting the princess to seem so... Distraught, almost, before burying her face in her knees. Obviously, I didn't expect some big battle plan to come of her, but usually princess's would be stomping there feet at me, telling me I should be thinking of the plans.
I sighed, lifting my head up to they sky. This wasn't the way to get to Silvia quicker. I bit my lip to keep it from quivering. This wasn't the way to get the princess back to the kingdom, or to the prince, either. That's what I should be thinking about. My selfish fantasies of coming home before my daughter dies is not what should be playing in my head. The princess. She is now my duty.
I sighed, coming back over to the princess and going on one knee to get to her eye level.
"It's my duty to put up with you, princess."
There was only a faint, rare, glimmer of teasing in my green eyes. I took the cloak from the ground and wrapped it around her shoulders before standing up and finding my way back to where I had woken up to rest. Even if she wasn't sure, I had to follow the royal's orders. Rest sounded marvelous right now.
"Princess Aven, resting now seems alright, but we should move by morning. More bandits could be anywhere. Wake me up if you need anything."
With that, my exhaustion forced my tired eyes to close. "Sleep well, Princess."
I slurred. I was asleep in seconds.

Of course it is. The princess thought, but there was no way she'd say that snide comment out loud. Doesn't mean you have to like it.
She looked over when the knight came down to her eye level and draped her cloak over her shoulders. She blushed slightly and turned away. She didn't need to blush this much, but she'd never had attention from a guy. Not that this was much, just only her chamber maids were this nice to her. Thankfully he walked away and didn't notice her light pink cheeks.
"Goodnight." she muttered when he went back to lay down. Curling up on her side she toyed with the fabric of her cloak, before eventually her eyes closed and she fell asleep.

She awoke to warm breath on her face. Open one blue eye slowly, she was greeted with the moist lips of her horse on her forehead. Bolting upright the horse whinnied and backed up and Aven wiped at the saliva on her face. "Eww, Al." she giggled as she looked around. Panicking for a moment when she didn't recognize her surroundings. It took her a few moments to remember what had happened the day before.
Frowning, she stood up and looked over to where the knight rested. He appeared to be to still be sleeping so she wandered over to the waters edge to wash the slime from her hands. Kneeling, Now the only thing left to do was come up with a plan.

Alright. I'll do that, actually. I think that was the point of this role play anyways.
So, pretty much, her chamber maid is acting as her, and the bandits are getting her to the prince so that she can marry him, blah blah blah...? Just making sure I know before we move on. :D
Plus, I'm procrastinating. That sounded like a good time to start what I've been wanting to ask. ^^^ ]]
