((Ooh~ The mental images I am having now <3 ))
Aven nodded, smiling slightly glad that the man had listened to her. She nodded at his instructions but didn't look up. In case she did or said something really embarrassing She watched as he backed away from her, before taking off his shirt. She quickly closed her eyes and she fought the blush that threatened to creep into her cheeks.
She pressed the cloth into her head a little more. She was beginning to feel a little better. At least she was going to tell herself that. The bleeding had slowed, but she would have a nasty scab there later, maybe even a scar. That most definitely would not fly well with her mother. Or anyone else for that matter. A princess was to be unmarred, a vision or perfection. She was sure she sure didn't look perfect now in her mud covered dress and her pale skin no doubt paler.
But, no one would be thinking about that. Her maid was going to reach the kingdom before her, no doubt the prince would like her more. Not to mention she would be clean, and dressed in her lazuli blue dress. Aven sighed, she would look horrible. A torn up, muddy dress, her hair wild, he skin dirty. Not the prettiest of pictures.
"We must go soon. Are you feeling dizzy?"
Aven tried not to act startled, but in all honesty he had startled her. Peering up at him, she couldn't help the words that slipped out through her mouth. "I am now."
She quickly brought her hand up to her mouth and her cheeks turned red and she forced her eyes downward. I am such an idiot! She thought trying to calm herself. But that was unfair, she'd never been around men. Not to mention that he was standing in front of her. Shirtless. With water dripping down his chest.
Coughing slightly, and forcing herself to talk again. "I mean, I still feel a little lightheaded but I think the bleeding stopped." She didn't bring her eyes back up to him. She just couldn't.
