Shaze stood, and decided he needed to find Cian. He noticed the pack grounds were a little empty. He wandered to his Dad's pack, and saw what he didn't expect to see: Cian in a cage, surrounded in a black army. He bit and clawed past one of them, blending with the patch of black fur. He looked just like the other wolves, so he took advantage of the fact, and pushed past the other wolves, standing infront of the deadly cage. He felt so bad for Cian; Did she think he was going to hurt her? Did she think he had rejoined the pack? Did she even recognize him? How long had she been locked up?!
( Good? I cut out like 2 and a half paragraphs. :P ) |

"Well than", she said, "Shaze will rescue me." "My pathetic son?", Quelfor asked with a laugh, "He wouldn't stand a chance against my pack." "You obviously never took the time to meet your own son.", she said simply, sitting down, noticing Shaze near the front of the pack.

Shaze rolled his eyes at his dad's comment, looking at Cian for a split second, turning back to his dad. "Why do you have her imprisoned?" He asked, his voise disquised(sp?).

"She is the Alphaess of our rival pack and will be killed at sundown along with these two mongrels. With them dead, we will finally triumph over the Moonshine pack.", Quelfor said, grinning with pride.

"Oh?" Shaze raised his eyebrows. It was working: His dad didn't know it was him. "Why not keep her in this box, let her dye of heat, or starvation? Let the other two die from lack of blood."

"It would be hard to forget my place." He snarled. "And I saw some big animal, that I couldn't tell what it was, down by the river bank. You should go take it down. It would be food for a week."

"You have no idea," He snarled, snapping his teeth inches from his fathers muzzle. "And who knows, I'm just a 'little pup' I wouldn't take it down by myself." Shaze growled, "You don't even know where your son is! Did he tell you he was quitting the pack? Probably not!"
