((tried to figure it out)) Charlie put the paper down for Paradise to see, knowing that she wasn't going to talk to him even to ask for the paper. He opened his history text book and tried to put the events in order.

Paradise stared at the paper for a long time, not understanding any of it. She was very confused. She swallowed hard, and said," Do you understand ..any of this?" She said quietly, but hoping he heard her.

"Yea, I think I got it." Charlie replied. History was his best subject, he knew just about everything there is to know about the subject. He loved history so much, and was studying to be a lawyer. Before even looking at the textbook he numbered the events in order. After he was done he went in his textbook to check a couple of them that he wasn't absulutly positive about.

Paradise nodded, not asking him to help her with her paper. She knew they were partners, so it was okay to ask answers. But Eddie was okay with that, she didn't know Charlie. She skimmed through pages, trying to find the answers, but found none at the moment. She turned around to see what Eddie was doing. The same thing except, he knew what he was doing. She slid into her seat, and sighed. She found one answer...which took a long time to find.

Once Paradise found the last answer they were done. Charlie went up to the teacher's desk and turned the paper in. They were the first ones done, and in record time. The teacher didn't say anything because everyone knew Charlie and his gift of memory, and his love of history. He sat back down in his seat and pulled out a book called "Evil Genius" and started to read.

(( Where's Weba? :( )) Paradise fidgeted with her fingers, bored, since she was done. She kind of liked having him as a partner, they finished in less then 10 minutes. And they didn't have any homework. But she smiled of relief for not having to try to talk anymore.

((idk)) Charlie could sense Paradise's nerviousness so he didn't talk to her, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. He continued to read his book about a young boy who was really smart but he never really seemed to fit in.

((Sorry, I went to go eat lunch with my dad. It's the first thing I've eaten all day.)) "Hi," Kasu responded as Eddie sat down next to her. He was carrying a copy of the worksheet. "History, huh? Ugh." History was her worst subject. The only one probably doing about the same as she was in that clas.s was Paradise. Kasu reached for her textbook and flipped it open, half-ignoring Eddie.

"I guess," Kasu said. She slid the paper across the desk towards herself. Blah blah blah, raid, blah blah blah... She filled in five of the ten answers with her messy handwriting. She didn't know at all if the answers were right, but what did she care?

Kasu looked slightly puzzled. "I don't really talk to anyone. No one ever wants to talk to me or be my friend." She looked down at her hands, which were folded on her lap. "I've never had a friend, though, so I don't know what it's like to have one," she said quietly.

Kasu blinked. "O-okay. So I guess we're friends now?" She really had never had a friend before. Unless you counted her mother and father... Kasu blinked again to shake the memories loose from her head. She would not think about that. Not now, not ever. Still, the memories kept coming. Her mother, laying in a pool of her own blood, her father, coming at her with the very knife that she now kept in a sheath under her jeans...
