(yea, all that was egg hatching :3 and if you want someone to run into your chara, roleplay it to where your chara CAN run into someone, not just flying absently through the air :3 it doesn't really seem realistic that someone flies up to meet Yukita just because se's in the air.... I hope I didn't offend you or anything)

Shislan shrugged. "I don't know. I think I trust you." She grinned. "Besides, your nice, and one of the few dragons I have ever spoken to." She looked up at the sky. "Wow, it's morning already!" The sun's rays had hit her scales, making her even brighter than usual.

Ruka grunted as his reply, still somehwat uncertain of Shislan's sincerity. The wingless dragon squinted his eyes against the sunlight, letting out a light hiss as his eyes adjusted to the sudden brightness. He shook his head to clear the spots in his vision before pointing with a claw at a small glade dominated by a single, gnarled oak. The tree's twisting roots came up out of the ground a bit, cleverly hiding an entrance to an underground tunnel. "I dug this burrow myself, trees aren't my thing."

Peeke finally woke up well past dawn, her tongue curling as she yawned. Looking around, she saw that thre was already quite a bit of activity going on; most of the Singing Tree's dragons were awake. A rumble in Peeke's belly brought her attention to her state of nourishment, she hadn't eaten in over a day. Spreading her wings wide, Peeke leapt from her branch to soar on a warm updraft of air, gliding effortlessly over the trees as she searched for something to eat. Peeke was not below munching on fruit an berries, even enjoyed it from time to time, but she sorely needed some meat to fill her empty stomach. Her acute sense of smell caught the succulent aroma of deer nearby. Tilting her wings to bring her into a dive, Peeke swooped down on the unsuspecting herd, each giant talon grabbing a beast while her ma.ssive jaws clamped down on a third. As the rest of the animals scattered in a panic, Peeke took to the air again, searching for a place where she could eat her meal in peace.

Salaar cursed as a female, the same one from the Singing Tree last night, struck before he could. As she took off with three of the animals, Salaar was reduced to charging through the trees after those that were bolting away in fear. After several long minutes and quite a few shattered trees, Salaar caught one, his jaws clamping around its haunches. Exhausted an battered from head to tail, Salaar settled with just one. he would go for more later. The storm dragon didn't even bother taking his kill elsewhere, simply lowering his head and devouring his prey where he had brought it down.

Shislan approached the burrow where Ruka pointed at. She peered in curiously. "Wow, how long did that take?" She asked, wondering if she could fold her wings and crawl in. Her tail twitched excitedly, as she sniffed around the burrow, only to smell the scent of Ruka covering the entire burrow.

Zephyr was more of a night dragon, though his stomach had told him to get up and find some food. He sighed and oblidged, leaping up and into the air, his wings beating once again. He scanned the trees, and approached a small clearing. A herd of wild sheep inhabited the clearing, and had tried to scatter when the black dragon alighted. Zephyr's rings weren't so magnificient in the day, so they glowed a dull red color. He managed to slay two sheep, as he carried them off and back to the tree.

"Just a few months." Ruka replied. "It only took that long because of the roots though, even now they're still sticking out all over the place."  The thorn dragon moved towards the entrance, crawling in. From the larger space within, he called, "You can come in if you like, it gets less cramped further in."

Peeke: *munch munch munch*

Salaar: *munch grumble munch*

"I can?" Shislan asked, excited. She folded her wings, pressing them tight against her back. She followed Ruka and crawled into the burrow, looking around the tunnel Ruka had dug. "So do you have a lot of these tunnels?" She asked.

Yukita landed on the s*censored* of a lake looking down at the reflection of her translucent body. "Why cant I just be seen like everyone else?"  She complained slashing her paw through the image.

Yusharan woke up suddenly feeling alone. He quickly rose and walked around not finding his sister anywhere. "Yukita." He growled walking briskly out the cave entrance. He flew until he reached the forest landing so he could sear. "YUKITA!!!" He bellowed, birds flying out of their trees and foxes running into their dens.

Ruka smiled slightly, saying, "Nope, it's just me. I chase away anyone who tries to take this place from me. It's earned be quite the reputation among the bigger critters of the forest."

Salaar's head snapped up as a roar shattered the air. He licked some blood from his muzzle, only bones and grissle left of his meal. That dragon was drawing dangerously close to Salaar's territory, and he would not allow it. Taking to the sky, the storm dragon quickly flew to perch on the top of his little hill, the centerpoint for his territory. From there, he roared a challenge to the black dragon circling in the air.

Peeke irritably licked at her hide, trying to clean the blood and gore. Failing to do so, she took off and flew to the nearest lake for a bath. She hovered above it, looking around. finding no one, she dove into the water, trilling happily as it cooled her sun heated skin. 

Salaar roared back, "SEARCH FOR HER SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU CHARRED LIZARD!! THIS IS MY LAND!!" If there was another dragon within the bounds of his territorial borders, Salaar would have known, and this dragon was the only one within those bounds at the moment.

(btw, Peeke is in the same area as Yukita ^^)

Mai woke up a little and started wiggling around.

(All I can think of.)

Yusharan smirked to himself before smiling at the other dragon. He responded before turning to leave, "SAYING THAT MOST DRAGONS ARE OF THE SAME SPECIES, YOU JUST CALLED YOUR SELF A CHARRED LIZARD." he slowly turned around and began walking off at the slowest pace possible.

Yukita looked up suddenly at the splash and growled. "Who are you!?" She asked when the dragon had resurfaced.

Kendra stirred, she had fallen asleep against the wall. Looking down, she saw that Mai had woken as well, and was writhing in her palm. Lifting the dragonling up, Kendra asked her, though she knew the little hatchling couldn't understand nor answer, "Hey, Mai. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry?"

Mai looked at Kendra, and listened. She looked down and saw her own tail. She looked a little confussed, then growled and started trying to grab it.
