Selene took a fresh drink of water an nibbled on a few berries. It ended up neither her or her brother was able to hunt down a nice breakfast. She was determined to do better for lunch. Selene didn't want to, but it was her turn to hunt some food for her brother, so she set off once again.

((I'm not doing Helios this time. He's taking a nap. xDDD))

Palla drug the Fawn all the way back to the den. When she got there her brother was sleeping. he looked like a big midnight blob that was breathing. she laughed to herself and laid down next to him. she began to eat. When she was done she left the rest for her brother and put her chin on her paws. SHe sighed and waited for Huttser to wake up.

Selene watched as another wolf ripped open a fawn near her hiding spot. "It's that wolf that made me lose a perfectly good breakfast," She muttered to herself. "Ugh." She pounced on a nice fully-grown deer that fell into her trap, and clawed at it, tearing it open. It was still breathing, but that was fine. It would be dead before she even dragged it back to her den anyways.

~Meanwhile~

Helios had woken up and found that her sister was gone...again. She was probably out hunting, so she might as well start too. He plowed into the forest, tackling something. Wow, he thought to himself, I caught a deer already! Right before he started to rip it open, he realised that he didn't tackle a deer at all. He had knocked down another wolf, dragging a dead fawn behind him. Helios got off the other wolf and said, "Oops, sorry." He blushed. Just then, Selene came out of the woods, lugging a deer around.

Huttser Stood up and looked at the other wolf. "It's Fine." he mumbled and continued to drag the deer to his den where he found his sister was still asleep. He ate his share of the deer and left the rest for his sister when she woke. 

Palla woke. The sun was setting outside her den. She looked around. He brother was lying next to her. He was awake, and a deer was beside her. "You catch this?" she asked. He nodded. "cool" and she ate the rest of what she could. When she was finshed she said "I'm going for a walk" to Huttser and drug the Deer carcas.s out next to the other one far enough from the den. Then she turned and trotted off.

((Omg I kno. 8D I forgot the word for a full grown male, though. xDD

And a fawn is a baby deer. Boo. There's no name for a female baby deer. >.<))

Selene and Helios both blinked. "Well, that was..weird," Selene said. After a few moments, she just shrugged and continued to drag the deer towards their den. "I'll meet you there," She said to her brother, "Be back before it gets dark."

Palla liked to take walks when the sun started to set. It was one of her favorite times of day. She loved as she walked the air around her chilled. She would take a deep breath every now and then and she loved the feel as the cold air trickled into her lungs. Palla loved everything about the night. The moon and it's snow white beams the shed and icy light into the forest. Usually Palla would stay up well after the moon was halfway across the sky. She loved to lay in the Errie beams from the moon and watch the stars. She knew that the stars arranged themselves in patterns. One of the great patterns was the great wolf god, Lupus. She heaved a sigh and continued to walk into the sunset.

All the deer had calmed down by now. It was much easier to hunt for dinner. Helios had been stalking a nice fawn for a while, waiting for it to stop moving before he pounced. When it actually did, he pounced and missed. He growled a bit and chased after it, now running like crazy.

The fawn stumbled over a broken branch and Helios jumped on it, digging his claws into it's flesh. He looked over to see that wolf he saw earlier and nodded his thanks, ripped a bloody piece off it's chest, and threw it towards her.

Helios frowned and picked the chunk up again. If she wasn't going to accept my gift, then fine. He thought to himself.  I won't go back to my den until she does. He trotted after the she-wolf.
