"Starfrost I said--" Kohaku started. she contunued to howl. "Shut up!" He howled. Before he could figure what had happened, Starfrost's eyes were welled up with tears. "You didn't have to yell!" Her voice shook. Kohaku shook his head, what had he done? "I'm sorry--" Yet again he was interupted by Starfrost. Wait, that wasn't Starfrost's growl. He poked his head out of the brambles, and to him misfortune, the stranger wolves were coming near them. "Starfrost look what you did--" He stopped himself. No need in punishing Starfrost more.

"any wolf there?" Came the Stranger wolf's voice. She paused, should she answer? "Yes.." Came her woof. She rounded a tree and sat down. "Hello." She tried not to sound scared. She looked onward to the wolf. "Who are you?"

Nyght opened one of his eyes. He was practically invisible, with his black coat and all. A low growl ecsaped his lips. He stood up, ears back and teeth bared. His ranbow patterns lit up when the sun's rays touched them. "Who's there?"

Leto stopped abruptly, causing Vorlos to bump into her. "Two wolves." She said to Vorlos in a hushed voice. "Don't you see? Maybe they're pack wolves! We can start a new life." Leto's eyes trailed off in a dream-like manner. Vorlos snorted. "More like mangy loners, like us." He said pessimistically. Leto rolled her eyes. "You're so fussy, brother." She said, then walked right up to the two wolves. Vorlos shook his head in disbelief. "She's always like that." He muttered irritably, following Leto. Leto was wagging her tail happily. "Hello!" She said perkily to the two, completely different from the voice she used when she was with Vorlos.

Halphas swiveled his head around when he heard a reply. "I'm Halphas." He said to the grey wolf that was now there. "I see you." He added, just in case she thought he couldn't. "I was exiled recently. Who are you?" He countered.

Basira saw teeth glinting. She reared back to the mouth of the cave, crouching down. "Me. I'm there." She replied awkwardly, trembling slightly. Basira had never met a wolf like this, and he scared her. 

 Nyght sighed heavily, he had probrably scared the she-wolf. "Sorry." He has flatly. "You spooked me." He brushed past Basira and out of the cave. He settled down and shifted his tail over his front paws confortably. "Who are you?" He asked, curiosity over powered anger.

Kohaku flattened his ears back against his skull. "Why didn't you tell me there was wolves here?" Starfrost snapped. Kohakuignored his bickering sister and stepped out of the brush. "Hello.." He said nervously. "Don't just leave me here!" Came Starfrost's wail. "Its creepy in here." Kohaku sighed. "Get yourself out," He teased.

Calyx yawned. "I am she called Calyx," She woofed. Exiled? This wolf must be a Loner also. Giving away vital information didn't seem right. But before she could stop herself, she blurted out an answer. "I ran away." Damnit. Why was she telling him this?

"Yes, yes, hello, hello." Leto said, tail still wagging vigorously. Seeing another wolf apart from her brother was obviously lifting her mood. "Who are you two?" She asked. "My name is Leto, and this is my brother, Vorlos." Her tail stopped for awhile to flick in Vorlos' direction. He twitched his ear in a greeting.

Basira thought the wolf didn't like her company. "I'm... sorry." She said in a soft voice. "If you want, I'll leave now." She said, starting off towards the trees. Wolves don't need other wolves. She thought. But sharing a life with a friend must be nice. The thought nagged at her.

Halphas flicked his ears. This was a strange wolf. "Interesting." He said, regarding her with caution. This could all be elaborate lies, he wouldn't be falling for them again.

"No need to be sorry," Nyght said, lifting up a pile of brambles to reveal a plump rabbit. He settled down to eat. "Want some?" He asked, a mouth full of rabbit. He let out a long yawn. "Do you have a pack?" He asked, trying to start a conversation randomly.

Obviously this wolf thought she was crazy, Calyx thought. She shook it out of her brain. "I'm new to this forest, sorry if I trespas.sed on your territory.." She fiddled with her paws. Her stomach growled angirly. This was the worst time to be hungry, she grunted to herself.

Kohaku let out a sigh of relief, atleast they were friendly. "I-I'm Kohaku, and that is my sister, Starfrost, in the thorn bush." He woffed in a friendly manner. "You find every way to humiliate me, don't you?" Starfrost huffed.

Basira looked at the rabbit, she could smell the meat already. Her stomach let out an involuntary growl. She glanced at the grey wolf, edging slowly over to him. "Can I?" She asked. Basira shook her head when he asked about a pack. "I never belonged to a pack." She answered.

"I'm not new to this forest either." Halphas replied, happy to think that he was not the only new wolf around these parts. "I have no territory." Halphas said. "Yet." He added, his tail wagging slowly in a cheerful manner.

Vorlos huffed. These wolves were idiots, not like a pack at all. Leto ignored Vorlos. "So, do you two belong in a pack?" She asked, eagerly looking around as if expecting wolves prowling out from behind the thick brown tree trunks.  

Starfrost eyed Vorlos from a hole in the brambles. A small hiss escape dher lips. "Actually, we are," Kohaku said happily. "Were." Starfrosy said quietly. "Plague killed 'em all." She added. Kohaku sighed. "We're creating a new pack," He woofed. "Creating a new life," Starfrost said in the thorn bush. "Starting over." They both  echoed. And, of course, Starfrost had to make the 'dun-duuuun'. She giggled. "What about you?"

"Of course, I did say you can, remember." Nyght smiled, his tail wagging slightly. He moved over so Basira had room to sit down. "Me neither," He woofed.

Calyx allowed herself to smile. "Good," She let out a sigh of relief. "I don't have any either," she added awkwardly. "Just got her a few days ago," She slightly giggled.

Leto chuckled along with Starfrost. "I am sorry for your pack, though." She said respectfully, eyes softening for a bit. Vorlos suddenly looked rather interested. "New pack, you say?" He asked, eye flashing. "I would love to join your little project here." Leto glared at her brother. "I would be interested in joining your pack too! Who else is in it?" She asked blankly.

Basira sat in the newly open spot. "Thanks." She said hastily, and bent down slowly to nip a bit of flesh from the rabbit. "You're a loner too?" She asked, mildly curious. "What's your name?"

Halphas flicked his tail. "I just arrived." He said. "Not used to go exploring." He said, sighing. "What do you plan to do now, anyway? I don't really want to live out the rest of my life as a loner." Being born a pack wolf, Halphas naturally craved for the presence of fellow wolves, wolves that would show no hint of wanting to betray you. 

"Well," Calyx started. "I was planning on making a pack," She said. "But I can't find any other wolves here, except for you." She woofed. "Have you seen anyother wolves around here?" she asked, curious.

Nyght chuckled."No prob," He woofed. "Oh, I'm Nyght, you?" He asked. "And yes, I'm a loner, too." Nyght added. "My friend lives here, too. She plans on making a pack." He chirped. "She said I could join, as soon as she gets enough members." His tail wagged excitedly.

"Great!" Starfrost wagged her tail, making it even more stuck in the thorns, but she ignored it. "Actually, we do have another member, Nyght, he's a great friend." She said happily. "Lives not too far from here. We were planning on paying him a visit," Kohaku added.

"A pack." Basira said in a soft voice, looking at him hopefully. "I've always wanted to see what it would be like around wolves for a long time." She said. "Perhaps I could join, if she allows me to?" Her tail slowly wagged, happy at the prospect of being surrounded by friends.

"It'll be a small pack. But soon, there will be pups, and then..." Vorlos started to jabber, but Leto quickly gave him a hard nudge to shut him up. "That's great!" She said, grinning cheerfully. She didn't want to admit it, but Vorlos was right. Pups would make the pack bigger, but Leto wanted to be the best she could be. There would be no time for pups for her.

Halphas shook his head. "You're the first wolf I've seen, after all, I just entered this forest a few moments ago." He said. "Perhaps there are more wolves, after all, we're new. Let's travel together and find a pack, shall we?" Halphas suggested. 

"Guess your right about that..." Calyx giggled softly. "And that sounds like a plan," She woofed, her tail wagging up a tornado. She stood up and stretched her legs, letting up a grunt when she heard a crack. "Lets go, shall we?" She chirped.

Kohaku opened his mouth to speak, but Starfrost interuppted him. "oww...I think I'm bleeding. Get me oughta here!" She snapped. Kohaku looked over at his sister nervously. "How?" He asked. Starfrost wiggled her body, trying to get out, but only made it worse.

Nyght took a small chunk of rabbit, chewed, swallowed and looked at Basira. "I'm sure she'd allow you to join aswell," He smiled.  "She, and her brother, should be here any minute."

Leto opened her mouth to talk, but Vorlos slipped away from her and padded up to Starfrost. "I think I can help." He said, quickly taking off a few berries from the bush. "Here." He said, handing a bunch to Kohaku. "Crush them. The juice they create will be slippery, and we can smear it on Starfrost. She could then slip out as easy as a fish. But--" Vorlos turned to Starfrost. "Don't move. You're only going to scratch yourself more."

Halphas took the lead. "Alright then." He said happily. At least he had company. "So, any unexplored parts of the forest yet?" He asked Calyx.

Basira looked around, a hint of excitement in her eyes. "Oh, pack life would be fun, wouldn't it, Nyght?" She said. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you my name!" Basira twitched an ear in apology. "My name is Basira. Named by my mother."

Kohaku nodded. "Okay," He started to crush the berries. "Wait-- That might stain my pelt! I'll be purple forever!" She said nervously. "Yeah, I found that much out..." Starfrost muttered to herself. Kohaku smeared the berry juice on Starfrost's pelt. "Wait--" She wailed. "Just shush up," Kohaku said, chuckling siletnly. "Your enjoying this, aren't you." Starfrost hissed. "...Mabye." Came Kohaku's responce.

"Well, pretty much everywhere." Giggled Calyx. "The only place i've been is my den, and here," She said, embaras.sed. "Wait, I smell someone.." The scent of stranger wolves filled her nose. "Do you smell that?" She asked.

"I hope so, I've never been a pack either." Nyght said. He chuckled slightly. "I bet she was nice..." He said, talking about her mother. "I wish I met my mother.." He muttered quietly.

"Purple looks very good on she-wolves." Vorlos said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Come on," He said, as Vorlos smeared more of the berries onto the area where Starfrost was stuck. Leto had also joined, happily crushing the berries and licking a few up. Vorlos stepped back. "Done." He said triumphantly. "Now, try and wriggle out." He said.

"I'm sure she would have been nice, like my mother too, Nyght." Basira murmured in a comforting way. She had just met this wolf, and Basira already felt quite sorry for him. "I never knew my father." She said. "Just left mother and I." Basira shrugged nonchalantly.

"Everywhere?" Halphas asked, pausing in time with Calyx. "Someone?" He growled. "I smell more than one." He said, stalking forward.

[[So... who do Calyx and Halphas smell? XD ]]

"Come on, don't freak out. Mabye they're friendly!" She chirped. Calyx started to pad in they're direction. The smell of berries hit her nose. "Mmmm....That smells good..." SHe followed the smell, and soon enough, she was peeking from behind a tree and starign at four stranger wolves. "Found 'em" She whispered, giggling slightly.

"Yeah," Nyght took one more bite of the rabbit and stood up. "Berries?" he tilted his had in confusion. "Do you smell that?"

Starfrost rolled her eyes. she closed her eyes, this felt so wierd! And...Sticky! She moaned unhappily. "I feel sticky," She frowned. When Vorlos gave the okay, she wiggled out of the thorns. "Great, theres thorns AND berry juice in my pelt, but atleast I'm out." She sighed. "This is going to take forever to get out."

Vorlos rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to lick it up, Starfrost." He said. "I'm sure there's a stream somewhere where you can wash off." He padded back to sit next to Leto, who was happily wagging her tail at the prospect of helping out a wolf that wasn't her brother. Leto froze. "Do you smell... more wolves?" She asked all the other wolves, unsure of her sense of smell now, since the air was so clogged with the sweet scent of berries.

Basira took one last bite and looked around. "Berries?" She asked, standing up and trotting a few meters away from Nyght. She paused and sniffed the air, turning back to him. "Yeah... I do." She confirmed. "It smells nice." She swiped her tongue over her mouth. "Shall we go investigate?" She asked.

Halphas rolled his eyes. "Right." He said, creeping forward. "It's just four wolves. Looks like they're having fun, by the look of it. Oops. The one with the white pelt looks like she scented us." He added. 

"Hehehe...That one has berries all over her!" Calyx giggled. She stepped forward, opening her mouth to speak. Unfortunatly She stepped in a slippery leaf and slid forward befor she could say anything. "Whooaaahhh!" She yipped, smacking right into Vorlos, slamming them both into a tree. "Whoops.." She whimpered.

"Who said I wanted you too?" Starfrost snapped. She let out a yip of surprise as a random wolf smacked right into Vorlos. SHe couldn't help but laugh, both of them were covered in mud. "Look who we have here," Starfrost snickered. "Your girl-friend, perhaps?" She teased. Kohaku rolled his eyes. "Shut up Starfrost." He snapped.

"My thoughs exactly!" Chirped Nyght. He padded into the brush, motioning Barisa to follow.

Halphas' eyes sparkled with amusement. Calyx looked like a clumsy wolf. He stepped out of the bushes behind her, slowly and carefully so he wouldn't slip on the berries like Calyx.

"You could still be stuck in that bu--" Vorlos gave a surprised snarl when Calyx smashed into him. He leapt up and shook most of the mud off, though a bit landed on Leto. She shot up and gave an impatient growl to Vorlos. "You're so clumsy, brother!" She said, cleaning off the mud from her white pelt.

Basira swished her tail on the gra-ss and followed after Nyght, though she wasn't in any hurry.

[[Pfft. Short post.]] 

"Sorry--" Calyx stampered. She slunk away from the angry male wolf. Oh great, she was covered in mud,and, berries? Great. Just great. She shook the mud off, most of it splattering on Starfrost and Halphas. "Whoops, made it worse.." She let out a nervous chuckle, backing away. "Why you--?!" Starfrost bared her knife0like fangs and layed bacl her ears. "Oh, here we go again.." Sighed Kohaku. Calyx backed away some more. "I'm even more dirtier than ever! And you had to make it worse!" Starfrost tackled the other she-wolf, her wings speak out, making her look even more fierce.

"Hey, hey..No need to fight..." Came Calyx's whimper. Her eyes were now wide with shock, her wings....What were they? Blades, Knives mabye? She shook her head, stay on task! She told herself.

Nyght leveled his steps with Basira's.

Vorlos rolled his eyes. "Does this always happen?" He asked Kohaku in an almost exasperated tone. "Come on now, Starfrost." Said Vorlos in a patient way, leaping up at Starfrost with incredible speed and swerving her off course. "No need to fight. Tell you what, since we're both covered in mud, let's find a nice stream to wade in, alright?" He said.

Leto nodded in agreement. "Come on, Starfrost. I'll come too." She said. Vorlos shook his head. "She just needs some alone-time, Leto." He said. Leto shrugged and sat next to Kohaku. "Does she always do that?" She repeated Vorlos' question.

Halphas grumbled when mud splattered on his pelt, but growled when the she-wolf almost attacked Calyx. He had to admit, he was grateful to the black wolf who stopped them. "We... mean no harm?" He said, approaching the situation cautiously.
