Calyx was curled in a tight ball in her den. She let out a frightened yip and jumped up, hitting her head on the ceiling. Just like she did in her old den. "Calyx, you okay?" Came Kohaku's emotionless voice, but she could tell he was a tad bit worried for his clam-mate. "F-Fine. Just another bad dream," Calyx answered, walking out of her den drowsily. "Morning everyone!" She woofed.

'Well, I'm already awake. I best wake up.' Kohaku sighed to himself, staggering up and trotting outside. Starfrost eyed him from her den. "Finally awake, are yah?" She said. "A little," Answered Kohaku. 'Whoah, he must be really tired. He didn't give me a snappy comment!' Starfrost shok her heand and curled in a ball in hopes of going back to sleep.

Nyght slept in his den happily dreaming awesome dreams. (xD)

Halphas looked over his shoulder to see Calyx walking out of her den, followed by Kohaku. "Good morning, you two." He said in a good-natured tone. "I think Leto, Vorlos and Basira woke up earlier than us." Halphas saw the three other wolves bounding back from the forest.

Leto ruffled her wings happily. It was good to be pack again. "Hello, you three!" She woofed happily, surging up into the sky and diving at them. She made a clumsy crash-landing on the space between Halphas and Kohaku and Calyx. "Ugh..." She groaned as Vorlos let out a woof of laughter. "Stop showing off your wings, Leto." He said. Leto never used her wings when she was upset, for some reason.

Basira grinned wolfishly as she approached the others behind Vorlos. "Well, I trust you three slept well last night?" She asked. "And where are Starfrost and Nyght? They're still asleep?" She tilted her head to one side in a question.

"Mornin'." Calyx said sleepily. "Mabye you should go back to you den and see if you can catch a few more hours of sleep....." Kohaku suggested. "Why? I'm fine." She said in her most cheerful tone, but Kohaku knew she was lying. "I'm to excited to sleep," Calyx urged. "Fine. See if I care," Kohaku huffed, prancing off to fine strafrost.

Kohaku pushed his paw against Starfrost's flank. "Wakey wakey, sleepin' beauty!" Kohaku snickered. "Kohaku...." Groaned starfrost. "Let me sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...." Kohaku roled his eyes. "Every one's up but you." Kohaku smapped. "COme on, I' going to see if we can go on a Hunting patrol. Your going to be the best hunter in the whole pack, aren't you?" Kohaku woofed. Starfrost hissed and slumed out of her feather-bed. "Fine!" She snapped, brushing past him. Kohaku and Starfrost stared at Leto. "Watch out!" Starfrost giggled, playfully batting Leto's ears.

Nyght opened one of his eyes. "Morning..." He moaned, getting up and walking outside. "Morning all," He woofed to everyone. "Who wants to go on a Huntin g patrol before we start the contests?"

[[Potion? o3o What is it?]]

Basira shrugged. "I suppose I could go." She said nonchalantly. "Perhaps we could get lucky and find some elk. They're everywhere now." She wagged her tail enthusiastically. "I also need to go find some herbs."

Leto gave Starfrost a queer look. "Why should I?" She asked, not getting Kohaku's stare or Starfrost's giggling. She dismissed this as a bout of early morning hallucinations. Vorlos gave Leto an amused look. Leto glared back.  

"What?" Starfrost stared at Leto. "It looks like someone didn't get enough sleep last night..." starfrost slunked away. Kohaku shrugged and ran into the bushes, soon coming out with a small rabbit. He dropped it on the floor and began to eat. Calyx spung up and snatched the rabbit. "ha! Bet you can't get me!" She squealed, running around in circles. "You pup!" Kohaku stood up and hissed, easily catching up to Calyx. "hey, no fair!" she snapped, jumping into the air. "You hav =e wings! No fair!" Calyx dropped the rabbit's bones and giggled. "Too late."

Leto laughed along with the others. "No, it's mine!" She barked playfully, crouching down and making another leap at the rabbit. She easily grabbed it from Calyx's jaws, hovering in the air and wagging her tail. "Come and get me!" She said, though her voice was muffled by the rabbit's fur.

Halphas stood on the hill, watching as the others played with the rabbit. He sighed, but chuckled. At least they were acting like pack, like family. "You two go." He said to both Nyght and Basira, flicking his tail. "I doubt the others want to go, they're having too much fun." Halphas' eyes gleamed with amusement.

Basira was standing behind Halphas, watching as the other wolves played. She gave Halphas a grin and a nod, nudging Nyght. "Come on, Nyght. Let's go." She said, starting off towards the forest but pausing and waiting for him. 

"Who said I didn't have fun?" Said Nyght in a dramatic tone. "What, am I not fun?" He grinned. "Fine, fine. Lets go." He trotted along with Basira. "What are we doing again?" He asked, tilting his head.

Calyx giggled. "I'm tired," She huffed. "Whyh can't we share?" Starfrost padded over and gave Calyx an affectionate lick. "I just wanted to make Kohaku mad, you and Leto can share. I'm thirsty," She trotted over to a puddle and lapped up some water. "Pllleeeaa*censored*eeee?" Giggled Calyx. "I dun want to run anymore!"

Kohaku couldn't help but grin. Calyx was such a pup, in a good way.

Basira sighed, but chuckled. "We're going hunting, remember? Perhaps we can bring back a nice and tasty elk." She wagged her tail at the thought of that. The elk could feed them for a few days, and the rest of the pack would certainly be happy with so much meat. "Come on, let's see who can find the first elk!"

Leto grinned through the rabbit and swooped down, dropping the rabbit on Calyx's head. "Alright, there's your food, you hungry wolves!" She said jokingly, alighting next to them and tucking her wings in. Vorlos rolled his eyes and started off towards Halphas. "When's the little battle over the positions, Halphas?" He asked. Halphas shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe after Basira and Nyght bring back prey."
