Josh frowned, letting himself inside and closed the door behind himself. Something was up with Paradise, but he couldn't put a finger on it. He walked into the living room, lingering around the doorway. It felt awkward to be here, for some reason. Like he wasn't actually welcome.

Paradise fidgeted with her fingers, and swallowed harder then usual. "Um..." She closed her eyes, and did a small sigh, forcing herself to keep going. "Thanks for coming. I...I couldn't really say this on the phone." She sighed again, to slow her breathing down, and turned around to look back at him. "Josh..." She frowned at him, wishing she would stop. She had no idea how he'd react. And if he got mad and screamed at her, she'd be no good. Biting her lip, she kept going, "What happened a couple nights ago...In the alley..? ... I..." She took a couple steps forward. And like before, forced herself to stand close to him. She tried to look casual as she covered her stomach with her arms. "They made me ..." She looked away, and mumbled, "Pregnant.."

There was a long, drawn out silence. Josh sucked in a deep breath, walking over to sit on her couch. He set his elbows on his knees and then his face in his hands. He seemed to be shaking a little bit. "Tell me," he said in a choked, strained voice. "Tell me you're joking. Please."

Paraidse stayed silent for a long moment. Not knowing how to respond. Yet knowing this was better then him leaving her house with a huff and anger. She swallowed hard, and walked over next to him, and sat down. "I'm not joking.." She said quietly. Wishing the emotions would stop flowing through her.

Josh couldn't breath for a moment. A sickening wave of emotion threatened to suffocate him. He didn't move for at least a minute or two. "Do you know whose baby it is?" he asked slowly, voice unnaturally calm. He actually felt like he was about to throw up all over. This couldn't be happening. Not now. Not ever.

CHristina shrugged, forcing to catch her breath to say. "Could be any of them..They all...'did it'...But you killed them, so it's not like it really matters.." She listened as his voice became 'unnaturally calm'. It felt nice no matter how much it should feel nice. Feeling good that he wasn't yelling in her face, for the baby.

Guilt made his stomach clench. Josh's hands trembled again as he restrained his anger. This wasn't her fault. If was going to yell at anybody, it was himself. He'd texted her. He'd told her to meet him in the allyway. He'd picked a fight with the blonde guy. This was his fault. "I'm sorry Paradise.." he mumbled, closing his eyes.

Paradise tried to smile. Tried to say that everything was okay. But knowing that a baby was going to be in her stomach, made her have a completely different reaction. She looked away, as tears filled her eyes. FOrcing her voice to come out, and say "Don't be.." Shakily. As she tried to stop.

"I should be," Josh muttered back, still unable to look at her, like she was going to get huge in the few minutes they'd been speaking. He was afraid of having to look at the child of one of the people he hated, but one of the people he loved too, and let it call him 'daddy' or whatever. He felt tears burn his eyes, but blinked them back. "This is all my fault, Paradise."

Paradise wiped a couple tears as the streamed down her cheeks. "How is it your fault?" She asked, while wiping some more. Wishing he'd be able to look at her. But then she found herself, hard to look back at him too. So she didn't really expect him too.

Josh stood up, taking his hands away from his face to look at her. His eyes were rimmed with red. "I asked you to meet me in the ally way," he said quietly. He took a few steps towards her, hands still shaking. "But that doesn't matter. You'll get through this," he sucked in another deep breath, and pulled her into a hug. "We'll get through this."

"What am I going to do? I don't know how to take care of a kid!" She sniffled, and mumbled, "And my mom's coming back today..." She grunted and held him tighter.

{ omg fail. o3o /shot } "Do you think you should tell her?" he mumbled, setting his head on her shoulder. "I could stay here if you like," Josh whispered into her ear, closing his eyes. He still felt sick, but said nothing. He was curious about what she would tell her mom. Would she tell the truth... or lie and say it was Josh's?

Paradise felt slightly better, when she felt Josh's voice and breath against her ear. But nothing more then slightly. She swallowed hard, and said, "I know I have to tell my mom...I just have no idea how..." She held him tighter, and finally had a smirk on her face. WIthout forcing it. "Of course, I want you to stay...Either that, or I could get my mind off of it, and see your knew place?" She asked.

Josh pecked her on the cheek lightly, smiling gently. "Of course you can come see my place, and stay there as long as you need. Your mom will understand when you tell her." He blinked a few times, frowning. "I mean, what are you going to tell her though, Paradise? The real story, or...?" He swallowed, and added on with a weak chuckle, "Forget it. You don't have to answer that."

Paradise, now slightly interested, pressed on. "Or what Josh?" She asked, innocently. Still smiling by the one kiss on her cheek. She guessed how long it will be, until she would stop having goosebumps with Josh's every look at her, but she ignored it. Completely used to it now.
