Josh opened the door, trying not to look to annoyed and angry, until he noticed her red rimmed eyes and upset look in her eyes. He blinked a few times, frowning himself, before stepping out of the way and signalling for Paradise to enter. 

Instead of waiting to see if she came in, he wandered towards the kitchen area and started to make himself a bowl of Lucky Charms. Josh dumped the cereal in the bowl, followed by milk, and then grabbed a spoon and set it on the table in front of the couch. He was starving.

He took a bite, swallowed, and smiled weakly at Paradise. It slipped off his face at her ex
pression though. "Um," Josh mumbled awkwardly, sitting down. "Want to sit down and...um...explain why you look so..." He searched for a proper word. "Upset?"

Paradise watched as he made himself something to eat. She's always admired him for the way he could just act calm in situations like this. He left his house, and found a new place. Not even worrying one bit. With her though, she cried the whole way here, knowing that her mom kicked her out.

She stayed silent, and ignored his question to sit on the couch. Instead, she let her back slide down the door, and she sat on the floor. Bringing her knees up, as she layed her forearms on them. Then said, as she closed her eyes and leaned her head against the door. "She kicked me out." She said, simply. Then tried to take a deep breath as she looked back at him. And kept going. "She didn't believe me...When I tried to say it was someone else's...She thinks it's..." She sighed, and said it, "Yours." She shrugged.

And you know how when you make a long post, and then it all deletes before you can press send? Yeah..That happened..
So I was like 'YOU KNOW WHAT!? I"M NOT DOING IT AGAIN!' LOL. So I chose to calm myself down, by doing the other RP's first...*Still is irritated* ))

Josh raised his eyebrows, eyes unreadable. "That's absolutely ridiculous." he said with a frown, still looking at her. "How could it be mine? We've never even-" he cut himself off, not willing to go on with that subject. "You told her what happened, right? Everything?" He blinked a few times. "...Right?" He took another bite of Lucky charms.

Paradise rubbed her forehead, and sighed. At the moment, Josh wasn't really helping. "Um...Well kind of yeah...She didn't believe me...What kind of mother, doesn't believe her daughter with things like that?" She asked, more to herself then to Josh. As she forced her self to get up from the floor, and walk over to the couch, sitting next to him, and laying her head back again.

"Hey," Josh said, "Don't worry about it Paradise. Everything will smooth out..." He added on with a slightly hysterical chuckle, "eventually." He stood up, walking into the kitchen area to rinse out his cereal bowl. When he walked back in, he seemed tense and a little distant, like he was thinking about something. 

He flopped down beside her, silent for at least three minutes or so. Finally Josh spoke again. "I know some stuff about pregnancy," he explained hastily. "I helped my mum and dad when I found out I was getting a younger sibling." He frowned a little bit. He missed his parents and Poppy sorely, but knew that he'd never see them again. 

"In general," he said, blinking a few times as he stared at his feet. Josh was starting to feel a little bit distracted as it started to finally sink in. Paradise was going to have a baby. A baby that wasn't his. The father of the baby, a stranger whom he hated with a pas sion. His skin crawled as images of the blonde man with two different colored eyes crept back into his thoughts.

Josh's eyes flickered to Paradise. In only a few months she would change completely. And there was nothing he could do to stop it. He had never really had a desire to become a teen father. Or, at least in this situation, a stand-in Daddy. The whole 'waiting for marriage' thing had always really appealed to him.

I am asking everyone this, because I keep loosing threads -__- So I'm going to start doing RP's through Rmail.))

Paradise looked back up at his eyes. They were looking at eachother, the way they usually do. Before the incident happened. Even while they were friends they stared at eachother that way. Which always gave Paradise slight hope that someday they would be together. She blinked a couple of times back at him, trying to get out of her daze. But she couldn't help but think what she always thought when they stared at eachother like that. It was as if she had flashbacks of when they first met. Even though he was slightly cold to her, they really had her favorite conversation through p*censored*ing notes during clas.s. She sighed and didn't look away. She was also starting to realize, that as she stared at him, her mind went somewhere else. Not in this reality, and/or nightmare that was coming. So she had no desire to let there gaze go, because if it did, her mind would trail back to what was going to ruin her life.

As Josh stared into her eyes, another thought settled into his mind. She would still be Paradise. The baby, no matter how terrible the father was, couldn't alter anything but her appearance. And he could live with that, as long as she was safe. That thought was like cool water on a hot summer evening. It soothed him a little bit.

He took both her hands in his, smiling slightly. He let all of his tension melt away, and started to think of the positive things in the situation. He'll be spending more time with her. He'll /possibly/ become the baby's 'father' (not biological, of course). This could give them a bit more experience with growing up and becoming legal adults. 

There weren't many positives, but he was perfectly okay with the ones there were. He leaned forwards to peck her on the lips lightly, smiling a little more widely, his healing split lip still visible. Josh's bruises were fading, but the memories never would.
