Paradise hadn't gotten her mind off of Antonio at all that day. All she could think about, what was girl he probably liked. She would completly break down and die if it was one of her prettier friends. Frowning at the thought, she walked back home.

She was looking down all day, but the second she looked up as she was walking home, she saw Antonio. "Oh gosh.." She said to herself. She finally got enough guts to go talk to him. She ran up to him, and found herself going to fast and couldn't stop when she should've. As she ran she bumped into him again. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She said, worried that he fell.

Antonio arrived home, tried and angery. After he did his homework, practiced piano, ate and took a shower, he hit the bed early. Thoughts were running through his head and he was trying to ignore him. He finally fell asleep.

The next morning when Antonio awoke, feeling sick to his stomach. He hurried to the bathroom where he vomited. Moaning, he crawled back in bed. His dad came and saw he was sick. He made him soup and put a trashcan by his bed. "I'll drop all your things off at school." He did, and told the office: "Yes, he's sick, I don't know when he'll be back." after arranging for all his notes to be recorded, he headed hoem to take care of Antonio.

Paradise noticed that Antonio was missing, and she smirked. She cried a lot last night, and the last thing she needed was to see the problem as to why she cried in the first place. After a couple of clas.s.es she was acting like her old self again. Laughing, talking, and having fun with her friends.

Paradise smiled with her friends. She felt SO much better. Antonio wasn't even on her mind at all for those 3 days. They made her feel a bit better after the first day, and finally her mind really just drifted away from the rejection he made.

The 3 walked in, as a group walking in. She stopped walking when she saw Antonio, her friends told her not to worry about what was going on, and to be the 'better person' and say hi every once in a while. She sighed and tried their advice, yet knowing it was stupid.

She walked over, trying to walk like she usually did. A hop to her step. Then sat down next to Antonio, and said, "Hey Antonio? You were sick? Are you feeling better? You look good for someone who was sick." She frowned realizing she was babbling again. And quickly clammed her mouth shut.

If Antonio could see, he would stare at Paradise right then. "Oh jeeze, lots of questions. I am only here because my dad said I had stopped vomiting and my fever was gone so I had to go to school. And no, being blind has nothing to do with it." He used a lot of his energy up answering her questions, and he was feeling sick again. Then, the bell rang. He groaned and clutched the desk, helping himself stand up. Holding the cane tightly, he slowly made his way out the door, thinking he would fall the whole time.
