"Sounds interesting enough to me. I've met people who were too interesting. So you write? Like, stories, or just something like a journal?" Antonio inquired. He was curious, and he was trying to picture Paradise in his mind. It was hard, considering he didn't have colors to go by, since he never saw them. He gave up, considering apperences didn't mean to much to him anyway. He then wondered if Paradise was a good writer, and he wished he could read something she did.

Paradise blushed, and said, "Well everything really. I used a journel in elementary school, but yeah, I stopped that. And then I started songs, but wasn't really in to it. And once I started 9th grade, I tried stories. And I haven't stopped yet."

Antonio smirked. "Interesting. You are going to have to let me scan one of your stories into braille for me to read." He hoped she would, he always loved a good read. "So let's recap: You are a blonde, who likes to read and write. Wow." He chuckled. He wondered what else he should ask, or what they should do. he was fresh out of ideas, but he knew he'd think of something sometime.

Paradise smiled. Glad that he remembered everything. As if he actually cared. "I never show people those kinds of things. I don't think I'd be able to show you, out of anybody." She said with a laugh. "So...You've never told me much about your mom....What does she do for a living?"

(( We talked about her, for like, one sentence about her dying, but that was it, no details.)) Antonio grew quiet for a moment, then said "Well, she was a freelance designer before her death. Dad says she was great at her job and loved doing it." It still hurt to talk about her, though years have pas.sed since she died, and he didn't remeber her very well, but he still felt waves of pain sometimes. "What about your family?"

Paradise frowned at him. She could tell that he didn't want to talk about it, so she was kind of glad the subject pounced back at her. "Well my dad's dead. And my mom's alive, but works ALL the time. So I never see her." She shrugged, and added, "But I shouldn't complain about that."

"That sucks. Sounds like my family, only mom's gone and dad's working all the time. No siblings." Antonio sighed, and felt a cool breeze blow across his arms. He led them over to a bench, and sat down, his head beginning to hurt. So far you are not making this date go too well, he told himself, madly. You need to do something fun, start a new topic, do SOMETHING, Antonio!

"Don't really know. Actually, I feel up for some ice cream." Antonio stood, hearing the few vendors who sold in the park calling out sales a little further up, and he could hear someone say "Ice cream! 2 dollars a cone!" Antonio bowed dramatically and offered Paradise his hand.

Antonio smiled when she squeezed his hand. At the vendor, the guy said "What can I get you two today?" Antonio turned to Paradise. "What would you like?"

Antonio turned back to the vendor. "One plain vanilla and one chocolate, please." The vendor guy smiled. "That'll be four dollars." He handed his the money, and the guy gave him the cones. He smiled at Paradise. "and here's the part where I'd gracefully hand you the cone, but I can't exactly tell which one is which."

Paradise laughed, and took the vanilla from his hands. Tempted to take the chocolate instead and wait for his reaction, but she hated chocolate. She took a lick from the ice cream and said, "Oh..I've never had an ice cream from here before." She smiled and ate more of eat. It was probably the best kind she's ever had.

He laughed and said "You should, they always have the best." The ice cream was delicious, and that was one of the reasons he always came here when he visited the park, the vendors had the best food around. He licked his cone before linking his arm into Paradise's. "Come, let us stroll!"

(( Ah, well have fun on vacation. ^^ School's starting here soon. Urg, this date is so boring! xD)) Antonio was having a good time strolling in the park with Paradise, when his cell rang. He sighed, and relectantly answered it. He stopped and paled, it was about his dad, who was in the hospital. He turned to Paradise. "I-I'm sorry, I must go, my dad's in the hospital" Without thinking, he hugged her then began jogging back towards the exit, and ran home, where his aunt was waiting to take him to the hospital.

Paradise embraced his quick, yet to Paradise, nice hug. When he ran, she frowned. Tempted to walked with him. But with her shoes, she couldn't walk as fast. She said a quiet, "Oh. Okay. Good luck." While he hugged her and walked. And she walked the opposite way. Realizing she should probably stay by him, even though she couldn't keep up with his pace. So she went as fast as she could go.
