"Well, we grew up on a military base since our dad is in the military." He shrugged. "I think that's really the reason why we are so close. We just wanted to be there for each other in case something happened."

He nodded. "He's on tour now actually. We moved out here a few years ago since this is my mom's home town. The military base we used to live at is only a few hours away so we still go back there sometimes."

" Cancer..." She said. What scared her most about that word was the fact that she didn't know if it was genetic. She could have it and not even know it. Just thinking about it put a shiver down her spine.

She nodded her head, while looking straight ahead. ( I only did that because it rhymed...hehe ) "Yeah..." She said,then sighed. "Its genetic...right?" She said, still looking infront of her. She never asked anyone this question, because she was afraid someone would probably treat her like an idiot. But she didn't feel like Asher would make her feel that way. In many ways, she trusted him. Which surprised her, because they haven't even known eachother for more then 24 hours.
