Crystal watched as Olavi took off. What was wrong with him? He tells her he's not coming, then he comes, and then he runs off. She shrugged, and pulled the curtains over the window. She was tired of looking outside. She still wasn't sleepy yet, so she sat in her bed and pulled out a book. Reading was the next best thing to do when she needed to sleep. It relaxed her.

~next night~ Olavi was seriously having problems standing up straight. Every time he would take a step, he would stumbled like he was drunk.But that wasn't the problem, though. He was pretty much unable to hunt for himself tonight, something that he needed to do. Not knowing what he should do, Olavi sat down at their meeting tree.

((I thought the romance already started. Well, it wasn't really a romance, but it was sort of budding. :P)) Crystal was getting a little angry at herself. Why couldn't she sleep? She had this problem for so many days already. She sighed, and decided she should look out the window again. She pulled open the curtains, and looked outside. To her surprise, Olavi was by the tree. She knew he had told her not to go outside, but then why was he waiting there? She was still in her regular clothes since she hadn't changed into her pajamas yet, and she ran downstairs. She opened the front door, and ran over to where Olavi was. "Olavi! You're there!" She was actually smiling. She rarely smiled, but now she was. But her smile soon faded. "Why are you waiting there when you told me you weren't?"

[[ A flower isn't a flower until it blooms.]] Olavi opened his eyes. "You!" He gasped. "I told you not to come out! Why didn't you listen to me?" He scooted away from her in fear. He thought she would have stayed inside like she had said she will, so why did she not follow what she had said? Olavi's mind was a jumbled mess of confusion and of half formed sentences. "Ya-You need to go back inside! It isn't safe during the new moon!" He babbled on. He could his pupils start to dilate while his vampire self beckoned the girl to come closer.

"Then what are you doing by the tree?" Crystal asked. "And I seriously don't get what's so bad about about the new moon or whatever. Vampires and 'evil creatures' don't exist." She studied Olavi, who looked like something was wrong. She didn't bother to ask though, as she was getting a little scared. "Uh, Olavi...?" she asked, eyeing him with slight worry. "You alright...?"

Olavi was acting really weird, but then again, wasn't he always like that? Although she wasn't so sure about it, she sat down next to him.

Olavi smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing her closer. Before she could say anything, his hand was over her mouth. "Sorry, Crystal, but I warned you not to come out." He hissed at her, bringing her neck to his mouth and biting down.

As soon as she felt Olavi's fangs sink into her neck, she screamed as loud as she could. But since his hands were over her mouth, no one could hear her. She felt like she had made a huge mistake. Why didn't she just stay home? Why didn't she just believe Olavi? She went limp as her blood was drained from her.

After a few minutes, the pressure released and Olavi let go. He licked at the puncture marks and they started to heal over. "Crystal?" He asked quietly, shaking her shoulder. Had he killed her? He prayed to the Gods that she was still alive. He could hear her faint heartbeat.

As her consciousness slowly returned, she was aware of Olavi talking to her. "W-what...." Was all she could manage to say. She opened her eyes, and looked at Olavi. She yanked herself away from him, and gave him a sharp glare. "You bit me!" she cried out, angry.

"You promised me you wouldn't come out! And it's not like you're going to die!" He snapped straight back, frustrated. He was stupid to have waited so long feed, it was no surprise that his vampire self came out and attacked her. He met her glare head on.
