Swift started out the day on the island like it was any other. He ate some berries and caught some fish. It was a nice sunny day and he enjoyed it. All of a sudden he smelled more bears around. He didn't like other bears in his territory, especially males.

Shadow's white pelt slipped silently through the leafy branches of another bears territory and soon she spotted Swift,how she loved to bug him. She let out and grunting sound and walked out to where he could see her. "Hey. Whatcha doin'? I thought you didn't lay around all day. I thought you patrolled for bears in your territory. Guess not.",she said in her deep and manlyish voice.

(Oh gawd, I am so confuzzled... If anyone was talking to George, please tell me, and I'll edit my post. SO MANY PEOPLE... I MEAN BEARS.) George sat on a warm rock, looking off into the sun. In his long claws he held a large walnut, scooping out the meat of the nut with his foot-long pink tongue. He'd met little to no creatures, besides a couple of squirrels and maybe a beaver. It was another ordinary day and the sun was shining brightly. Author enjoyed the sun, and decided to go exploring. "I wonder what I'll find this time..." He said as he sniffed the air, hoping to discover something. Just then he caught a sent, it was a bear for sure. "Another bear sent, similar to one I've smelt before." Up ahead he saw another black bear, but decided to not interupt, he didn't enjoy fights. (Sorry if it's a bit messed up)

Swift rolled his eyes. She always made fun of him. "Actually I just smelled you and was looking for you." He was telling the truth. He just plain out hated other bears in his territory. If it wasn't for the fact that he didn't like fighting all of the male bears that ever tried to take his territory would be dead right now. |

Shadow laughed and trotted around him,teasing,"Doesn't look like it." She then sat in front of him,laughing and pawing his face. Her claws didn't hurt him though,since she was very careful to not draw blood. Then she stood and began walking around him again,just trying to annoy him.

Daphne led her siblings as they crossed the mountain in pursuit of the river. "Catch up, Ridge!" she said, "If you don't hurry up all the salmon will be gone." Arabella had no trouble keeping up, despite her size, because of her ridiculously energetic nature. Ridge, however, was falling behind after walking for two hours. Daphne continued speaking, "Now, there might be other bears that know of the fishing spot, so I want you both to stay close to me. Understood?" "Yep!" Arabella said happily, practically bouncing with excitement; She had only had salmon on two separate occasions before, and it was the most tasty thing she had ever eaten. Ridge grunted an 'okay' from behind. |

Author looked up again and saw it was a female bear with her cubs. He didn't dare to interrupt because it was rude and she will probably growl to protect them. He walked a different way and smelt another bear up ahead. "How many bears?" He whispered to himself and sat down.

After that she walked off into the shadows,her white pelt dissolving into the trees. Soon she would reach the river and catch some fish before they were gone for a while.

Daphne, Ridge and Arabella reached the river thirty minutes later and Daphne walked into plain sight to look for any other bears that could be around. The few that she did see didn't seem interested in fighting; they were occupied with the flipping salmon in the water. She gestured to Arabella and Ridge, who bounded out to join her.
