Shadow laughed and said,staying near the bush,"You are a very strange bear,if I do say so myself." She then let the darkness fade around her,her fur changing from black back to white and added,"I'm sure I'm a bear and not a bush or pear tree."
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

George sat up straight, lifting his head up high. "Nonsense! You are clearly a pear tree shrubbery, and I will not stand for anything other. Ergo, you look like a Shadow. I know many pear tree shrubberies named Shadow, though most were not kind. Might you be a Shadow?" He lowered his head below his shoulders, tilting his head to the side as so.

Swift got lost but soon found Shadow. He was sitting behind A large bush seeing what the other bear said. He thought she was a shrubbery. He laughed.

George lifted his head up again. "George Mohtave Esq., enchanté. I knew you were a Shadow!" He looked around to see behind Shadow, to the rustling of bushes. "Sir Giant Squirrel, it is very impolite to impersonate a shrubbery in the presence of another, not to mention a real shrubbery that happens to be so délicat!"
(Oh George... Your tomfoolery knows no bounds.)

"Leave now and stay away from my sister or fight me!" Daphne hissed at Arthur. Arabella squeaked and quivered, backing away a bit more. "Daphne, we were just playing." she tried to explain. Either Daphne didn't hear her or she didn't care, because she didn't back down.

"Yeah, we were just playing..." Arthur growled again, he could tell that Arabella wasn't so keen about this. He stayed still, and didn't move anywhere. If Daphne decided to make a move she would be in for a terrible shock. Although Arthur felt like killing Daphne, he wouldn't because that would be terrible and upsetting for Arabella.

"Arabella, come with me." Daphne said, backing away but not turning around. Arabella shook her head, "No." she said stubbornly. Daphne sighed and plundered back to Ridge. Why did Arabella always have to be like this? Well, if it ends in tears she only has herself to blame, Daphne thought to herself.

Arthur was relieved that Daphne had walked away. "I'm sorry about that..." Arthur said, feeling rather imbarised. He sighed and looked at Arabella. "I think I should leave." Arthur said disappointed.

Arabella pouted. "Okay, but I'll talk to Daph tonight," she said, "Maybe she'll let us play tomorrow."
Daphne looked around and saw multiple other bears at the river now as well as them. She worried that if Arabella didn't come back soon the other bears might start getting territorial. |

When Arabella got back to their fishing spot, Daphne fretted, "Arabella! What did you think you were doing?! Look, I'm happy that you've found a friend, but at least tell me before you go wandering off like that again! For all I knew, that bear could've been about to rip your throat out!" Arabella winced. "Sorry, Daph." she said. Ridge lifted his head out of the water where he had been fishing. "What happened?" he asked. Daphne rolled her eyes, "Never you mind, Ridge. But have you got a spare fish for Bell? She looks half starved." Ridge nodded, and threw a fish to Arabella, who caught it in her mouth and swallowed it whole. |
