Nyght let out a screech. Calyx jumped up to hear Nyght's screeches. "Nyght!" She screamed as she burst out of her room. "What are you doing?" A nurse snapped at her. "Nyght! He's in trouble! Are you deaf?! I can hear his screeches in my room!!" The nurse looked puzzled. "Your bat is fine, I think you are hearing things." The nurse said. "Im not!" Calyx ran away from the nurse. She ran to the palace wall. "Nyght!" She screamed. She saw red fur in the distance. She scanned the area, right beside the red fuz ball, was Nyght fending off three rats.

(( dun dun duuuuuun xD Thalia spotted some rat spys, rats attacked her when she noticed they saw her D: Nyght went to help ))

Calyx saw taylor. She jumped on a random bat, and flew of to the rats. There was a sword on the bats back. Guess someone was going to kill off those rats....Well, guess there not! She grabbed the sword, and dove for the rats. She was blinded by fear and anger. Thalia lay in a bloody heap. "Nyght!" Calyx jumped off the bat and waved at the rats. One of them charged at her, to meet her blade. Once it fell to the ground, she repeativly stabbed it. She ran over to the last rat, Calyx zoned out. Whe she opened her eyes, the rat lay, dead at her feet with her sword in its skull. She ran over to Nyght and hugged him.
